A great venue for food and drink! We've always been treated well here. Not only is the place ultimately cool, it's the food and the service that makes and keeps it great. A significant selection on their menu and always check the specials. I've had an aged beef burger, several of their schnitzel dishes, and always potatoes of all different kinds! The desert selection is crazy too. Their Apple strudel is off the hook. We had a great time here. Janna was our frequent server and she was so quick and breezy we called her ninja Janna or 'Ninj Janna' for short. Took great care of us but the ENTIRE staff here is top, top shelf! If your in the area, you need to make this a weekend stop. read more

Highly recommend. Good mix of food choices and a fully stocked bar. They have their menu available online via a CR code when you sit down. Also recently ordered takeout, got the RahmSchnitzel mit Pommes and it was delicious! Def a solid schnitzle when you're looking for something quick and easy. I'll definitely be returning. read more

This place has an awesome design inside. Just as it sounds, it's decorated like an airplane. We enjoy coming here for their frozen margaritas and their mozzarella sticks. Their salads and steaks are also not bad at all. Every time we have visited the service has been very quick and friendly. They always make sure that we have what we need and get seated in a timely manner. There is parking in the parking lot that is free if you eat at the restaurant. This place is closed on Thursdays which is something I continually forget and get my feelings hurt time and again. Overall, I absolutely recommend this place. I have been to Cockpit Lounge many times and have tried different items on the menu and all of them were delicious! They have amazing drinks as well! My favorite meal so far has been the crusted salmon with a lemon margarita! The menu does have a good mix of German and American food so you get the best of both worlds! The location is a part of Hotel Christine and is right in Landstuhl. There is free parking (make sure to show your ticket and get a coin). I would recommend getting reservations because it does get crowded at times! read more

Cozy little place with great atmosphere and beer. Menu looked good. Tasted The apple strudel which was heated from frozen. Not impressed with that. Prepared with puff pastry instead of traditional pastry crust and was heavily spiced with cloves. Not my favorite. I wish we lived in Landstuhl so we could walk here for drinks after work. It's got a great atmosphere for cocktails. We arrived much later than we wanted which made our menu selections limited after hours - only burgers/sandwiches and fries were available after 10pm. I didn't realize how late it was so I was bummed that that was our option. But my husband had the burger and I had the schnitzel sandwich and we both really like them! The bread was fresh, the meats were tender and best of all the fries were perfectly crisp and salty. I love me some french fries! I look forward to returning during earlier hours so I can experience more of the menu. Service was good at our table but we were a little put-off by the bartenders. So much so that when we thought we'd stick around after we ate and have another drink at the bar, we eventually just left rather than ordering because the bartenders were not present for a little while. So we just thought, eh - let's just go home and drink. So we did. But that won't detour me from going back and trying again. read more

Absolutely amazing. My husband & I came for a dinner after being in the hospital due to an amputation for several months. It was the first night we spent outside of the hospital and just wanted to feel normal again. The staff did just that & more. They helped us lift the wheelchair to get into the restaurant, the sat us somewhere easily accessible and treated us so kindly. Not to mention the food was absolutely amazing. I've recently moved back to the Ramstein-Landstuhl area and this place came highly recommended. It's in walking distance from my apartment, great idea when having drinks after work. It's got a great atmosphere for cocktails. I tried a menu selections and was utterly impressed with the food. I look forward to returning during earlier hours so I can experience more of the menu. Bar service is awesome with great impressive bartenders. I would recommend this place to any of my guest who comes to town for a visit. read more

It's a little confusing walking in because it is part of a hotel I think so you might miss it! The interior is covered in old plane parts and has a lot of cool designs from airplanes or notable pilots everywhere. A great place for cocktails and dinner with friends. I had the salmon pasta that was both creamy and smooth, but needed salt...and pepper..and maybe some chili flakes. Haha otherwise the food was good (steaks/burgers) and there was a variety of drink to choose from (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). read more

I ate here the other day and fell in love with the spaghetti carbonara. I came back a second time to order the same thing and try out the fried calamari. I was very disappointed in the calamari and the service when I called back to ensure that I did not receive the wrong order. If it wasn't for the response I got and the calamari this restaurant would have received 5 stars from me. I will give it a second chance with the hopes for better. read more

Ate here as a group of 7. Our table was ready, on time with our reservation. Hong was our waiter and he was busy, but excellent revisit times and 100% correct. Leek soup was amazing! Jagerschnitzel was perfectly cooked and pommes frites were crispy and amazing. Salad actually had quite a bit of dressing - which is a rarity in this part of Germany. Great place to stop in for a drink and their food is excellent as well. Not just your typical pub grub. They have many options (salads, sandwiches, pasta). Drink selection is extensive and nice vibe. I love this little pub. Quiet atmosphere, but good music in the background and muted sports on the stupid tube. Airplane parphenalia is abundant. Food is always good, freshly made. While staying at the hotel, it's easy to just go to the lounge for dinner. We had dinner there 4 nights. I ordered something different each night. The best was the schnitzel with cream sauce and the home fried potatoes, followed by the jaegerschnitzel. The pizza was okay, the rib special was probably my least favorite only because the ribs were a little dry and didn't come close to the tastiness of the two schnitzel dishes.
