I broke the side mirror on my 2024 Honda CR-V. Lisa at Cockrell's invited me to come right in for an estimate, Jeremy checked my car and gave me the estimate - much lower than I expected - and ordered my new mirror. I was back home within 30 minutes. When my part arrived, they had me come right in, and my repair was done before I drank half my coffee, and again, back home within 30 minutes. My daughter got in an accident the week before Christmas, I was extremely worried about the timelines needed to complete the repairs on her car. I say this because as a young adult she depends on her insurance to cover these costs. She only had 30 days worth of coverage on a rental car and would need her car back prior to that coverage running out. Again during this 30 day period was both Christmas and New Years! I spoke with Tim about this and he told me he would do his best to meet this requirement. I can say enough about Tim and his people, they ran into problems on three different occasions where they had to go back to the insurance company to get an unknown repair covered due it not being seen during the initial estimate. Even with this they got the car in and out in just over 3 weeks and it was PERFECT! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! We were continually informed on the progress and all the deadlines were met! I can only say I wish each and every (not that I want another) experience with an Auto Body Shop would be this Professional, courteous and expeditious! I cant thank Tim and his staff enough! Lee took excellent care of me! My hubby wrecked my Honda Civic and I was devastated. Bc I only had liability insurance, we had to pay out of pocket to get my car fixed! Lee was great bc he let me bring in my own parts for my car. He sat down with me with a list of parts I needed for my car and the cost of each part along with the product number. I was able to purchase most of my part aftermarket. There were a few items that needed to be OEM but most were aftermarket. I ended up save almost $2000 just by bringing in my own parts! He was more than happy to do it for me! I would definitely bring my card back anytime! If I ever have questions, Lee was there to answer them. I wish I didn't have to give this place one star, because they are truly unworthy of that. My husband wrecked my car the day I started my new job. We hadn't even officially moved yet and we didn't know anyone that we could ask about a body shop. The responding officer at the accident scene recommended Cockrell's, so he had the car towed there for repairs. Huge mistake!!!! First, it took them almost 6 weeks to repair the damages. Our insurance company only covered a rental car for 30 days, but they were gracious enough to extend it for another week, considering we got a lower priced rental car than what we were allowed. When we called Cockrell's to ask about our car, we got one excuse after another, and they would either lie about when it would be ready, or tell us they had no clue when they'd have it fixed. I asked if my insurance company was giving them a hard time and he responded that they were not; they were great and easy to work with. So, what was the problem? Laziness or incompetence, or a combination of the two, would be my guess. To make an already frustrating situation worse, when we were finally able to pick up the car, it looked terrible. They only painted the front, and it's pretty obvious that half the car has been re-painted. Even worse, they didn't hook up my left turn signal or my taillights. Fortunately, my parents were here for a visit and Dad was driving behind me when he discovered this, so I didn't have to learn the hard way on I-10 from someone who didn't see me until it was too late. We also discovered that my front driver side turn signal didn't work. When my adjuster called them to make them aware of their mistake, they denied responsibility but offered to "look at it." They did accept responsibility for it and get it fixed. Maybe this explains the leftover car parts they left in my backseat. Who knows! One thing I do know is that my husband and I are both pretty terrible drivers. Their horrible service and half-assed repairs cost them a lot of business from us. We'll never use them again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would!! I am a single mother who has a full time job and they have taken almost a month on fixing my car. The damages were not that severe and every time I called to check on the progress they gave me the run around on why it was taking so long... I have had to pay for a rental car for a month now and in this economy being a single mom that hard on top of having to pay my deductible. I'm highly disappointed in the professionalism of this establishment. Once i get my car back i will never use this place again!!! read more
