They went up $30-40 on oil change because of "tarrifs" on oil. Complete BS. I will not be back @ $130 for a hyundia oil change. They told me tires are next with 18% increase. Always smug like they couldn't care less to be bothered with customers. read more

I asked Parrish to diagnose my car and they told me my ECM was bad. Darren told me 'without a doubt' it's bad, you need a new ECM. Dealer wants $2751 so I got a 2nd opinion from another mechanic. They found a shorted coil and the part cost $40. I called Darren back and asked for a refund and he referred owner who told me 'we don't give refunds on diagnostics' even if we are wrong. He'd compared it to a doctor...if you went to the doctor, and he treated you for something you don't have, would they give you a refund? Parrish did wrong by, misdiagnosing and not refunding our diagnosis fee! They need to own it and not bully costumers, when they ask for there misdiagnose fee back! Freeman had his attorney Tom O'Hara call my place of business and threaten me to remove the review are they would sue me for slander. How pathetic is that! read more

Fair priced, extremely honest and went above and beyond to diagnose/repair an issue that 3 other shops could not resolve.

Yes they are an auto mechanic that rents tools. Absolutely yes they will charge you extra if you forget to return it. Those are the rules regardless if you've been a loyal customer for years. Sometimes loyalty pays off and sometimes it does not. I appreciate my favorite bar because once I accidentally spilled my full beer and the bartender gave me another at no charge. Guess I'll have to find a new mechanic. read more

I have taken a 2003 Ford F-150, 2004 BMW Z4 roadster, 2013 VW Passat TDI, a 1991 BMW 318i, and a 1984 Toyota FJ60 here with no problems. This shop does good, honest work at reasonable prices. I absolutely recommend this place if you need work done on your vehicle. read more

Paid $650 for AC repair. They replaced a part not needing replacement. Then a week later wanted another $550 to replace two additional components. When I argued about their ability to properly diagnose the problem the owner refused to give me my car and only if I paid him $70 diagnostic fee. Estimate given in July, unnecessary repair in August, then diagnostic fee in August. DO NOT GO THERE, EVER! I'm taking them to court and hopefully prevent anyone else from having to deal with the unstable and hostile owner! I have audio of this crazy man yelling at me for disagreeing with his ability to properly diagnose the problem. read more

Christmas holidays, wife in town with her family. 2015 Silverado needed service, Parrish seemingly had good reviews so told wife to try them out. Had service on Friday 12/27... wife stayed with her family until 01/04. In between those time frames the truck remained parked at her family house an she rode with family during visit. Returning home with truck, she states low oil level sounded. She parked truck an said would check the next morning because it was late an raining. Next morning she checked the oil an the dip stick was bone dry. Charged for service that we wanted but never received. Thanks to Parrish Tire and Service, my $37,000 truck may have a damaged block. read more

Yelp has helped me so much previously I decided to help someone else. STAY AWAY! This place can probably change a tire but don't let them near your engine. I usually work on my own vehicles so I know a thing or two about cars. Unfortunately, I'm in Montana and needed them to fix my daughter's car. Before we get to the specifics of the issue, it is important to note they have an entirely smug attitude - from the beginning. They called to tell me that I needed to spend $900 on a new coil, wires, and spark plugs. EEEEK! Ok, I said, is there a way to get it running for less than a grand as I really don't plan on keeping the car that long? (This is where the smugness comes in). No, the coil is about $500, the spark plug wires are $150, spark plugs not that much and towing, labor, yada yada yada. Cha Ching! I found a coil new for $300 and used for $80. Told the mechanic, put that on, and if there is still problem, then we'll put on the $150 wires. He does, doesn't work and they call and say new wires now cost $500. They said they have to take the cover for the coil back off to replace the wires. WHAAAA??!!?? Shouldn't you have told me that when we planned the process?? Never mind that the entire cost of replacing the coil was $200, and the wires were only supposed to cost $135 - so how do they now come up with the $335? Also, the catalytic converter is bad. WHAAA??!!?? That is what the problem is to begin with. That's why the car won't stay on! (I know cars, remember?) They say it will start and I send my daughter to get it the heck out of there so I can send it to a reputable and knowledgeable mechanic. I'm dubious it will start as the catalytic converter is bad it aint starting. Of course, it doesn't start, and they tow it back to my house - nice folks. $200 later and I got nothing but a bad taste in my mouth. Oh yeay, they guy starts yelling at me, loud, when I say that their communication is awful and their professional advice is lousy in the process. So loud I keep the phone away from my ear and my colleagues are laughing at me getting yelled at by the lousy mechanic. They hear the whole thing. I yell back, he hangs up. Tells my daughter who is without a car they are towing it off the lot. Nice folks. I still keep a home in Daphne and return home often. These guys are real, real, real bad. I guess I see why people really dislike mechanics but like I said, I usually do my own work so its been 20 years since I've had the pleasure. There is a really nice little shop just past the Target on 98 in Daphne on the left. Don't know the name, but go there. Stay away from Parish, or your money will Perish! read more

Dishonest and reprehensible. Paid $400 for repairs that were not needed. When that did not fix the problem they wanted to do more work. My car had the same issues when I left as when I arrived plus a new issue. Took car for another opinion. It was confirmed the new work Parrish wanted to do was not necessary and work they did preform was not the best and resulted in brake issues because of bad work Parrish did do. I only hope that someone does not take advantage of their wives, mothers or daughters the way they took advantage of me. Shame on theses people. Shame on them! read more

Went in with a ac problem another service center wasn't able to diagnose. Didn't wait long at all compared to other places. This is my second time dealing with them both have been pleasant. This time they were able to get me fixed temporarily but did inform me and show me what this issue was and how much it would cost. Very professional and efficient. read more

Late in the afternoon my son was involved in an auto accident. My son's health and welfare was the upper most thing on my mind, so when the wrecker driver arrived and asked where he should tow the vehicle, I told him I didn't know. He recommended their lot until we decided what to do with the wrecked car. He didn't mention it, so I assumed that if the vehicle was removed from their lot the next day, there would be no storage fee. WRONG! Even though the car had been on their lot less than 18 hours, they charged for 2 days storage. read more

This tire and service center is dishonest, unprofessional and far too simple minded. They are completely bonkers and are perhaps on another planet. They will most likely try to take advantage of someone who they perceive as someone they can indeed take advantage of and just talk in a loud southern voice until you just pay up and go away. I took my european car here for tires and thought I could fix a noise at the same time. I know I have no business taking my european car here for service, but I took it for tires and ... thought it would be something minor. 1. they have no experience taking care of european cars... and they tried to tell me the noise was something minor, and that they could fix it for $400, and angrily told me they had to charge me for several hours of work because some guy "couldn't get dat bolt off" and reduced the cost over $100 already "just to make meh happi". Then they explained some crude idea that "if you've got a mercedes, then you'd betta have deeeep pockets (in a southern accent)". That was not the issue, they overcharged me for something that was not anywhere near the issue. Of course I took it to mercedes to get it fixed properly and should never have taken my car here, no matter what it was, EVEN FOR TIRES. If you need tools, or your car towed? This is your place! But, wear a face mask, ear plugs, and cover your nose because the smell is disgusting, the people are loud and simple, but they seem to have a lot of tools, and a tow is a tow, if you don't care about your car. As far as your car goes? Don't let them touch your Benz, Bimmer, Audi or Porsche, never never never... If you have a ford or chevrolet? Sure, maybe they can do your brakes or a fluid change or something I dunno. I admittedly didn't do enough research when I came here. You can send me your good thoughts and many thanks for informing you about the state of this awful place. There is a lightning lube just north of this place. And a place that works on things like land rovers and random other cars in Fairhope on scenic 98 that can recommend a lot of stuff for you.WAit wait I can't stop. This is not so much an auto mechanic as it is a garage where there is a bunch of stuff laying around and where they i don't even know what this place is. it's sad.... Help them. Send them help. Send them like info packets that tell them that there are ways to learn how to perhaps stop drinking and smoking and perhaps send them their very first book and then tell them that there is hope for someone who can't read or speak properly even at their age. read more
