Not exactly their fault but the second night they were hosting some sort of party up there that took up most of the lounge area of the restaurant and was so loud. I should have known just to leave but wanted to try the food. The food was OK. That's it. The drinks were pretty good as long as you stuck to what was in the menu. Every server we had was great though. And the place is beautiful and you feel like you are in a different world kind of up there. 5 stars the first night. 3 or less the second averages to a 4 I guess.

I was meeting a bunch of my classmates here on a Sunday evening for drinks and appetizers. The manager kept insinuating that 20 people was too much for them to handle without reservations. We told him that we couldn't determine in advance how many people would actually show up. When we walked in at 6 o'clock, the place was deserted. There were so many empty tables. They "managed" to accommodate us. All of the servers except for one, had an attitude. I guess they didn't want to really work on a Sunday evening? They weren't expecting this large group on a Sunday evening I guess. I will say that the drinks and the food were good. But the negative attitudes ruined the experience for me.

I asked for their signature Bang Bang Barrel but was informed that I could only order from the sponsored menu, I was prepared to buy mugs, merchandise and several drinks but after that we were a bit put off. Within the first 15 minutes the bartender also set off the fire alarms with a flaming drink so we had to wait outside for a bit until the fire department shut off the smoke alarms. I've been to several Tiki Bars in California and other locations, this one is pretty low on the Tiki Pole for me unfortunately. If it wasn't so far of a drive I would give them another chance but at this point I would rather just go to Nashville or Indianapolis for my Tiki Fix.
