It's clear they are passionate about developing both technique and a love for the art. The communication from the program dirextor is top-notch. Whether it's details about competitive dance opportunities or recital information, families are always kept in the loop, which makes everything run smoothly. The ballet program is especially high quality. The attention to detail and dedication to classical training have helped so many dancers. They put on beautiful performance. Sometimes you truly forget these are kids and not professionals They're that good! Musical theater has also offered some great opportunities for her to share her musical talents. The program director does a great job engaging the kids and always works to create great shows. If you're looking for a program that offers strong technical training, a supportive environment, and a commitment to clear communication, United Talent is the place to be! Highly recommend!

The Canadian Pacific National Horse Show was held for almost a week and we attended the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Competition on Saturday evening. 40 beautiful, trained horses and their expert riders participated and it was a joy to watch them in action. At the end of the night, the $250,000 winner was Denis Lynch who rode RMF Echo. The course itself was designed splendidly. There were 15 hurdles if I remember correctly. The ground crew were quick in action. They had to rearrange the field twice - once for the Jump Off and again for the Presentation Ceremony and they did it in minutes. There were a few booths too but we did not have time to visit them. The trophy was simply beautiful! (Also, a cool thing! Got to listen to the Irish National Anthem as the winner, Denis Lynch, is from Ireland.) I was not even aware of such an event taking place until I got an email from Heather, the Lexington Yelp Ambassador. I signed up immediately and it was a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back to attend it next year.

Once again, I was excited to attend the CP National Horse Show at the Kentucky Horse Park last…read moreweekend. I love this show, especially getting to watch some of the world's top riders compete during the week on horses that are at various levels of training. The FEI World Cup on Saturday night is always a thrilling pinnacle to this event, and I hold my breath and cram my heels down at every jump (it's a riding thing). I won't rehash my previous review, but I will list my suggestions to the organizers of this event if they would like to improve the experience for attendees. 1. This event happens in various locations around the Kentucky Horse Park, but I did not find a comprehensive schedule with the locations of the class competitions anywhere - either in the program or on your website. This might be the reason that the arena set-up for Saturday night was so well attended...many people, including me, thought we would be seeing the class that started at 5:30pm. Not only was there no competition happening, but the girls who sold tickets at the front of the arena had no idea where the competition WAS happening...and this just isn't ok. 2. If you want non-competitors to come to this event, you need to do a little bit of education about what we are seeing. I refer you to the Kentucky Three-Day Event programs, in which they provide an excellent tutorial for people who have varying degrees of familiarity with horses and horse events. I would like to know how high the jumps are at the FEI World Cup. I would like to see a video of the winning round from the previous year. I would like to know why there is a crowd of folks walking strangely from jump to jump before the competition began. I would like to know why some of the horses were wearing red ribbons in their tails. Do I personally know the answers to these questions? You bet I do, but NOBODY around me did and EVERYONE was asking the same questions, so why not put these answers in your program? 3. I know that the Saturday night event is prestigious and awesome and is a blockbuster event. That being said, it is not the ONLY top-tier equine event happening on Saturday night, and very many people in Lexington (especially) know what and where the OTHER event is happening. I am talking about the Breeders Cup Classic. The race was scheduled to go off at 8:35PM EST, and what was happening at the Alltech Arena at that time? The arena was being set up for the jump-off (add this term to the list of things people were asking about). There were at least four overhead screens in that arena, and none of them were showing the race. I heard the race was being shown in the "Clubhouse" but why not put it on the arena screens so EVERYONE could enjoy it? I, like many people, was trying to stream the race live on my phone, without success due to the number of people trying to stream the race on their phones. It's a small thing, but it would make a big difference to your audience. I'm glad this event is held in Lexington, and I look forward to attending next year. The photos I have included were taken by my good friend Laura Palazzolo at Bluegrass Equine Photography. I have never quite mastered the art of taking a non-blurry picture of a horse in motion, but Laura is a true artist!

I attended this event on Saturday 8/30/25 and it was nothing short of amazing !…read more The lake setting is very calming, a perfect place to send out messages to the universe on a beautiful water lantern. There were food vendors, merchandise vendors, and a musician who played for the first part of the festival. There was even a segment when any individual could share their reason for being in attendance. Some folks dressed up while others attended casually, yet everyone seemed welcoming to all others in attendance. Watching the sun set over the lake, then placing the water lanterns in the lake, seeing all the lights on the water was very calming and comforting. I plan on attending future Water Lantern Festival ceremonies in the future, and taking my family along with me to enjoy the experience as well

What a unique event and so much fun…read more I'm only removing one star because the venue did not have a good speaker or sound system, so from where we were sitting we couldn't hear instructions or prize drawings. The Kentucky horse park venue is beautiful and I was able to park right up front when I arrived just a little early. I collected my bag with lantern kit, cards, and marker - but I brought a bag of multi colored markers of my own for decorating. There were a few vendors and food trucks. I'd like to see a couple more food truck options (I'm looking at you cousins Maine lobster and auntie Anne's). We set up a blanket and our chairs and had a good time walking around then decorating the lanterns. When it was time to release the lantern, we couldn't hear the announcements so the people around us were all a little confused on what we were supposed to be doing. But we just went for it! I'd like to see more speakers set up around the pond so everyone could hear the announcements and a few more food truck options. I would also love to see a wider variety of vendors. There were only three or four vendors outside of the festival booth. Definitely need more food trucks to accommodate that size crowd as well. If there was a location that had bathrooms instead of Porta potties then it would be Chefs kiss Would love to do this again!
