Just recently discovered this gem. And it's a huge restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Everything made fresh to order. Beautifully plated. Fresh fruit. So many options. It was hard to choose! They are open 7-3pm daily but I was told you can book them AFTER hours for events and special occasions also. They even have weekly drawers for kids colouring and if you put your receipt in a box and can win gift cards!! How cool is that. And their server Jenny is amazing. Ball of energy. An excellent place for brunch!! I would highly recommend it for its rich menu, food quantity & quantity, ambiance and service. We had omelette with tomatoes, peppers, onion and cheese, it was just like home style, healthy and fresh. The fries were exceptionally good. The crepe with banana was delicious as well. I've been here a couple times and it's pretty consistent. Love their breakfast! Eggs Benny or any Crepe is always a winner. I haven't tried any of their lunch items. Great location! It's huge and looks great. Parking lot fills fast, but there's a parking lot across the street. Service is pretty good. Coffee and water were kept full and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Only thing that needs improvement is getting the bill. Like the other reviews said, it can take awhile. read more

I saw a lot of good reviews for this place so on my day off, I decided to go a little out of the way for some good eats. I found Coco Frutti disappointing so I'm going to start this review with the positive points. The food was tasty & I see a lot of potential for this place because the potatoes were perfectly seasoned; coco's can elevate basic brunch food. The casserole was more of a breakfast poutine rather than a casserole, but nevertheless, tasty. The servings are grand, but the food leaves you wanting more! The cons for this place: The restaurant is way to big & open! This may seem like a weird con, but if you are sitting in a place that is not 100% visible from the front, expect to be ignored the busier it gets. The space makes the restaurant very echoey - I literally can hear conversations from the other side of the room... On top of that, the breakfast 'casserole' had one texture, and it was all mushy shortly after. Speaking of something on top, there was a hair on my egg benny's ! Because of the big space, it took so long for someone to assist us. When I finally got someone to help me, the server said, "... I'm going to show them" & took my plate. First off it's not cheap if you don't mind paying 40.00 for breakfast for 2. Hubby had the French toast and was not impressed with the taste and it was barely warm. Bacon is 1.00 a strip and looked like I wouldn't feed it to my dogs,nothing but cheap and all fat. I had eggs,ham(very salty) home fries and crepe. What was meant to be a happy Sunday brunch turned out to be a sacrilegious experience that'd disappoint any decent chef in the food industry. Walked in at around 1 pm on December 6th. Being my 5th time at this restaurant, I figured that I'd grab lunch with a colleague. From a personal experience: Service and food are equally spotty here on a normal basis. Some days, they have good staff, but horrible food and visa versa. Today, both were in the dumps. I had the Benedict Coco, which our waitress raved about. It sounded good: Your typical eggs benny but with sautéed mushrooms, spring onions and melted gruyere cheese. What arrived on the table was not what I expected. Everything, from the toast, the home fries, to the eggs were all burnt or overcooked. The hollandaise sauce was thick, clumpy and curdled. After tasting it, it was a disappointment to find out that it's from a powder, yet our waitress advertised that the kitchen makes it ''...fresh every day!'' False advertisement much?? The home-styled potatoes were burnt and bitter, with too much paprika on them. As for the eggs themselves: I asked for soft poached eggs; I was given hardboiled eggs that lacked the shell, to put it simply. Whoever was in the kitchen today either lacked passion or simply didn't care. For the food to be burnt and over-spiced, the cooks aren't tasting or watching their food. For plates to have food that looked dismal and overcooked without any visible appeal, the expediters/wait staff aren't paying enough attention. The only courtesy from the waitress was a simple ''Sorry about your experience'' and otherwise still getting a full bill. Overpriced menu for mediocre service and poorly-made food. read more

A Québec breakfast restaurant franchise has big shoes to fill in when trying to take over Cora in Ontario and sadly it does not even come close to the latter. Breakfast fries were very dry. The orange juice used cheap quality oranges, was pressed but being served in cheap glass that does not retain cold much and on top of that with no ice, made half my orange juice glass taste... not so good! Only got one refill for my coffee and server did not come back for a third refill or ask for much else after we got our meals for that matter. Then the place got filled up pretty quick, and being only 2 waitresses there for the amount of people that were in, resulted in me waiting an extra 15 minutes to get my bill and pay so I could get out of there finally. I order d the Coco Frutti Club with bacon and mayo on the side. They forgot to bring the mayo and the toasts for my partner when they brought our meals... Not recommended in any way shape or form. Go to Teddy's accross the street instead, where they have quality food and management and staff that actually cares for their customers. The food is great, THE SERVICE IS HORRIFIC. It took over ten mins to be acknowledged at the door, once we were finally seated at a table it took another ten mins for the server to come over. The server came over, looking panicked and asked what we'd like to drink we were ready to order our meals as well at that point because we are starving, she refused to take the food order so we just ordered coffee and water. Another ten minutes later , our drinks arrived. That's half hour for water and coffee. She took our food order and continuously called us hunnie and sweetie, in the most condescending rude way through out the interaction. I was there with my grandmother . And she was not thrilled either. For a breakfast place it should not take over an hour. And at the price point the service should at least be semi good. After we finished it took another fifteen mins for our plates to be cleared and to have her bring the machine over to pay. WORST SERVICE EVER. I would never recommend this place.
