The food came back very fast like less than a 5 minute wait. I got an ahi fish taco and a shrimp taco with pineapple salsa on the side and hot sauce. My favorite thing I got was probably the hot sauce or the salsa. The hot sauce is HOT so be advised but if you like hot sauce I definitely recommend. I feel like the shrimp tacos were overcooked and I didn't particularly like the ahi either. There was also a ton of lettuce on the tacos as well. My friend got the beef quesadillas and stated that it was really oily. There was a lot of outside seating in front of the truck and you can see right into the sharks cove beach. They play music and it's pretty quiet and calm. The tables are also covered with umbrellas which is nice. Conclusively, it was really just ahhhh

I ordered shrimp taco and a fish taco meals. My wife and I traded out tacos so that we could have one of each. I was very happy with the meals. It was easy to order in the food came out promptly. There are picnic tables to sit at or you can take it home like I did. they did do a very good job with the tacos, rice and beans. I would recommend the food there.

I woke up today craving tacos!…read more So I got up, showered and got my work clothes ready and convinced my partner to take me to take a drive to Waialua to Surf n Salsa! It didn't take much convincing by the way since we love the place that much! Today I had the cheese and a potato empanada. It was delicious. I bought three to share and I was already full with one. I also got the cucumber lemonade and Raul got the pineapple jarritos. I drank almost all of it. I ordered two Carne Asada tacos this time without the plate sides because I figured I would be too full with the empanadas and I was right. It was just the right amount. We tried the nachos this time and it was delicious and filling. It was loaded with refried beans and guac and cheese, and all of the fixings. What a great way to start my day. And you know what was even more exciting? We decided to go to the back and check out the distillery for the first time and was impressed by the helicopter that we saw outback. We even got to get a drink while we waited for our food. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very nicely decorated bathroom inside as well. This place has easily become my favorite place. My family is coming by this November and this will be my first stop to introducing them to Hawaii as my favorite place to eat in my new place I call home.

Came 15 minutes before they closed and they had my order ready in about 5 minutes everything tasted fresh and hot not all greasy too, all the plates come with shrimp+rice+salad and a slice pineapple. I told them I didn't want a slice pineapple and to substitute it with rice and man they didn't disappoint with the extra scoop rice and hot garlic on top of the rice man it tasted good I will be back guarantee Yessah

After having Giovanni's before, I honestly enjoyed Jenny's more. The shrimp were plump, fresh, and cooked just right. The Garlic Shrimp had a rich buttery garlic flavor that wasn't overly greasy, while the Spicy Garlic Shrimp added a nice kick without overpowering the taste of the shrimp. Both plates came with plenty of sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. Service was friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. The portions were generous and filling, making it a great stop for lunch. The seating area is pretty basic and can get crowded during busy times. That said, the shrimp were delicious, and I'd choose Jenny's over Giovanni's if I'm craving garlic shrimp on the North Shore again.

It came with about 12 pieces of shrimp and I ate all of it haha. The sauce was super garlicky and buttery, and just eating the rice with the sauce was so good too! This Korean-inspired truck has more to offer than its competitors, not only because the menu is bigger, but also because there is zero wait and the shrimp is just as good. The service was relatively quick, and the woman working the truck was very nice. We ordered the galbi shrimp plate, and the galbi was pretty spot on. It wasn't as tender as we would've liked, but the flavor was definitely there. The shrimp was on the spicier side, but again, the flavor really came through. It is a bit of a nuisance to have to peel your own shrimp, but they were soft enough that you could still eat them pretty easily if you didn't feel like it. Seating is also nice since Hono's has its own area away from Giovanni's.

I can give you their phone number if you message me. -Prices: a little bit on the high side but its not your typical food so its worth it :) -Service: There is only 1-2 people in the truck, sometimes they are really busy so not much time to talk but they are friendly :) -Food: MUST GET THE CEVICHE! its really good and you can add "papa a la huancaina" so you make it a combo. *Tip try to go on Fridays or Saturdays, fish is fresher ;) *The seafood paella is also really good!!
