The owner and her employee were both super friendly and helpful as we went crazy on our shopping frenzy. Lots of great locally made items, and she has a great eye. So happy we found this place- otherwise we would have come home empty handed. We got dishes, linens, dish towels and some books. We would have bought more if we had more room in our suitcases! I saw a selection of giant…read morehand woven baskets made in Senegal that I really wanted, and woven plates and other beautiful home goods (plates, cups, cutlery) and gorgeous hand made jewelry and hats. The saleswoman there named Petra was so sweet and helpful, and helped me pick out a hat, and showed me their jewelry collection. I ended up with 2 hats and a pop up post card, was super happy with the entire experience. I'm going back tomorrow to explore the town of Paia some more and can't wait to visit other shops along the way.

Though I've been to the Whalers Village and Waikiki locations countless times, I really love the Wailea location. The shop is always so well organized, staff friendly and welcoming, and honestly I even appreciate the fact that they tuck your receipt into a little black envelope (those special little touches do make a difference!). I don't think I have ever left this shop without purchasing something: from the most lovely island-inspired throw pillow cases to seasonal decor, and from the most amazing housewares or kitchenwares to keepsakes and Hawaiian souvenirs.
