I feel compelled to write this review due to the horrendous service I received at Coconut Creek Mazda. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:30 PM to address a simple slow tire leak. Upon arrival, Nina informed me that the appointment wasn't actually for service, but merely to write up the service order, and that it could take up to 45 minutes just to bring the car in. She immediately had an attitude, as if it were my fault for asking a reasonable question. That raises the question--why bother making an appointment at all? After 45 minutes passed, and then even at the 1 hour and 15 minute mark, I was told they were still looking for the leak. However, when I went downstairs, I saw them just bringing the car in. At that point, it was clear I had been misled. When I pointed this out to Nina, she seemed caught off guard and didn't respond professionally. Instead, she walked away and brought over the service manager. The service manager, Daniel, offered a loaner car, which completely missed the point. This was supposed to be a simple tire repair, and by then I had already been waiting 80 minutes--with an appointment. Offering a loaner at that stage was not a solution, just an inconvenience. Despite this, he continued to push the idea. Eventually, I received my car back after about 90 minutes, along with yet another display of poor attitude. It's also worth noting that Nina avoided further interaction after being called out for giving inaccurate information. After doing some research, I found numerous negative reviews about the service department at Coconut Creek Mazda, which unfortunately aligns with my experience. This will be the last time I bring my vehicle there. I also made it clear to Nina and Daniel that I would be sharing this review, and their response was essentially dismissive. My recommendation: avoid having your vehicle serviced at Coconut Creek Mazda. There are plenty of other places that will treat you with respect and provide quality service. I recently sold my car here and it was an okay experience. We gathered online offers from a bunch of places online, and chose to sell it here because it was the highest offer and it was in writing. They offered us way less despite the information we gave online being accurate. They said the reason was because the car had had three owners according to the report they ran, which isn't true. I explained that I'm only the second owner. Apparently because I moved states and had to re-register, that counted as two separate owners. That makes no sense. They also said that they have to put money into the car, such as getting new tires. I explained that the tires and transmission are both brand new, to which he said "well they're still technically used." I refuted everything with facts and while they acknowledged that I was correct, they still didn't change the price. I ended up selling to them anyway for lower than the original online offer just because I was on a time crunch didn't feel like driving around to different dealerships and going through the same thing over and over, but I do feel a little scammed. They said they'd call me when the check was ready in about a week so I could come pick it up. That timeframe came and went, so I called to ask for an update. They told me the check was ready. When were they going to tell me? So although it was nice that the whole process was relatively quick and simple, there were definitely aspects that felt like poor customer service at best and a ripoff at worst. They lured me in with a too-good-to-be-true online listing -- a Certified Pre-Owned 2024 CX-90 advertised for $37,000. Once I arrived, they first had me test drive it before talking any numbers (red flag #1: don't do this, talk numbers first!) and the real price magically became $42,000, and by the time they added dealership fees, a mandatory "care package," and other mysterious charges, the total ballooned to nearly $48,000. The final number somehow climbed even higher, reaching over $52,000. Even worse, they quoted me an interest rate of 7.9% before ever running my credit (red flag #2), which made it clear they were trying to maximize their profit at my expense. When I questioned the numbers, I was told there was "absolutely no room to negotiate." Yet, after my husband got involved, they suddenly found room to lower the price -- twice (red flag #3). That revealed exactly how disingenuous their process was from the start. Don't be fooled by their brand-new, shiny glass building -- that's the only impressive thing about this dealership. Dishonest & Unprofessional Experience - Would Never Return I had an extremely disappointing experience at Coconut Creek Mazda. I went in to sell my grandmother's car--it's like new, barely driven--and after an inspection, the dealership offered me $25,000. I told them I would go home to get my elderly grandmother so she could sign the title and receive the check. After driving back two hours later--with my grandmother who can barely walk--they suddenly changed the offer to $21,000 with no valid explanation. Nothing had changed about the vehicle. It was the same car they had just appraised. This bait-and-switch tactic was not only dishonest but incredibly inconsiderate given the effort and discomfort it caused my family. To: GM of coconut creek Mazda I am not 100% satisfied with my 2025 MX5  RF Grand Touring  first 6 months service at your coconut creek Mazda service center for two reasons. 1. When I approached the service advisor who was at that time preoccupied at his computer, he did not make eye contact or greet me... granted that he was busy in the middle of typing, but there was no excuse for not taking a second to acknowledge my presence. 2. When the car service was completed, upon inspection I noticed that all door hinges, hood and trunk hinges/joints were not lubricated. Lubrication is indicated in the service manual.  The manual categorically states "LUBRICATE"   The manual does not say "inspect  and lubricate as needed".   3. All four  tires were incorrectly  inflated to 36 psi! One would think that a conscientious and professional Mazda technician would  know what the correct tire psi should be for the 2025 ND Mazda MX5 RF Grand Touring. read more

I brought my car in for an oil change, it took forever, and then when I got my car back I was told it needed new rotors, had a cracked wiper fluid reservoir and more! Mind you, I'd only driven just over 5k miles was certified pre-owned. They're just trying to make money replacing things you don't need. Car only had just over 30k miles. Because it was purchased out another dealership, I guess they thought they could do that. I went there because it was closer to me and because I was told that because it was certified, I could bring it in there for my first free service. When I got there I was told that I had to pay for it even though I had an email saying otherwise. I would give them a "0" if I could. I'm going to drive the extra miles next time to take it to the dealership I bought it. I don't trust them! read more

This dealership used a quoted out-the-door price to get us to come in, then refused to honor it. I called in advance about a used Mazda listed around $20,000 and asked for the best out-the-door price including all fees and taxes. I was clearly quoted approximately $23,000 out the door if I was ready to buy that day. Based on that quote, my wife and daughter (a first-time buyer) and I drove to the dealership. After the test drive, we were told the real out-the-door price was closer to $27,000. A supervisor confirmed the quote was given and that calls are recorded, but explained the employee's role is simply to "get customers into the dealership" and that the dealership would not honor the quote. We left without purchasing. The dealership later called to apologize but still refused to honor the quoted price. Mazda North America opened a case regarding this incident (Case #00412880) and later confirmed they could not require the dealership to honor the quoted price. After going back and forth for a few days over the phone negotiating on a 2026 CX50 (with a CX30 trade in), agreed on a deal with Javier. Sent over the credit app. The next morning I get a call from a Tony (a manager of sorts), with a ton of attitude running the deal by me, and he conveniently added a $150 electronic filing fee which was not part of the deal. He says let me call you back after a condescending tone. Hours pass then Javier calls me after I tried to reach them for hours (and they claim I didn't, total bs of course), and he says the deal we had was a mistake and it's actually plus tax so in essence wanting to bump me $28 per month. Very disappointing first dealership experience. I visited Mazda of Coconut Creek to learn more about the CX-5 and CX-50, including trims, pricing, and current financing options. Unfortunately, my experience was very poor. After showing me two cars in the showroom, the salesperson immediately demanded my driver's license and refused to answer any questions until I test-drove a vehicle. I explained that I was there to gather information first, and that if the cars were within my budget I would consider a test drive. He refused, saying he wouldn't "waste his time" if I didn't drive first. When I chose to leave, both the salesperson and the sales manager followed me into the parking lot to pressure me further, repeating that they "work this way" and again pushing a test drive and trade-in conversation. At no point did they take even five minutes to listen, answer basic questions, or show respect for my time. I left feeling disrespected and frustrated. Buying a car should be an informative, transparent process -- not a pushy one where customers are pressured before even discussing price or options. They started out friendly and welcoming but quickly turned pushy and aggressive once I started asking some questions. Add roughly $5000 in packages and fees to whatever price they give you. Here is a snippet from their website: ALL PRICING BOTH NEW AND PREW OWNED IS PLUS tax, tag, title, registration , transport fees and a Platinum Protection Package of $2899.00. Other fees are a $999.00 documentary fee, a $593.92 electronic registration fee. and a $189.94 private tag agency fee. These so-called Protection Packages, Advantage Plans, etc... are nothing more than dealer markups marketed as a valuable benefit and Cocoanut Creek tells you theirs is mandatory. Piss off. Remember, if its taxable, it is negotiable. Many dealerships will lower or remove their package costs entirely to get a sale. Not this place which is why at the time of this review, they have over 185 CX-5's for sale. Don't let scumbag dealerships like this one rake you over the coals. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! read more

Boy do I have the review for this place. I went in buying a Mazda CPO. Beautiful car, love it even after this dealership. But let me tell you, don't let the new fancy facility and business attire persuade you, new facility, same old sleezy tactics, not only did I have to go through multiple rounds just to get the OTD price down to my level, a sales person that just leaves mid sale and forgets something as simple as floor mats several times and then forgot the trunk mat. That wasn't even the worse part, the whole process of buying a car took hours of my time, I was prepared to hell and yet they still got me at the financing office with their 'optional required' prepaid maintenance, OPTIONAL, it's an extra year that they snuck their 'discount' of 1.4 THOUSAND dollars hidden in the car's price and guess what, one simple call to Mazda finance got me both the 400 original itemized charge and the 1.4 THOUSAND DOLLARs refunded. I got a good deal but that doesn't mean this is a good dealership that values you as a person and a customer, they're just trying to squeeze the most out of your wallet. In an additional gesture of appreciation and goodwill, she arranged for a complimentary oil and filter change that could be used at any Mazda Dealership --a service that normally costs close to $90--at absolutely no charge to me. Moments like this are impressive, but what truly sets Dreamer apart is that this level of dedication isn't a one-time occurrence--it's part of her character! I experienced her remarkable commitment to customer care once before, several years ago. After bringing my Mazda in for service early one evening, we discovered the vehicle would have to remain overnight. Unfortunately, all "loaner" cars had already been taken, leaving me stranded without transportation. Many service departments might simply apologize and send a customer on their way to figure things out for themselves. But Not Dreamer! She immediately sprang into action, contacting a colleague she knew at "Enterprise Rent-A-Car" and arranging for a rental vehicle to be delivered directly to the dealership. Edit [8/1/25]: Pro Tip: They will try to convince you that their ($2,895!) "Platinum Protection Package" is mandatory, but it's just a bunch of cheap profitable add-ons to inflate their margins while you're in a spending mindset. If you're considering buying a car from here, negotiate the Platinum Protection Package down or walk. Now for my real review: There was a Certified Pre-owned sticker in the windshield of my Miata I bought which they now say was a "mistake" and are refusing to honor any kind of warranty. I'm surprised neither the detailing department, my salesman, nor the sales manager caught the fact that this car is 3 years too old for CPO despite my relentless questioning about it. I went into this sale knowing this year of Miata has about a 10% chance of transmission failure which Mazda is known to replace under warranty. I ultimately bought this car because of the perceived warranty, knowing I would be covered if I got a bad transmission. This is my second Mazda, and as a major car enthusiast and Mazda fan, I do a lot of homework about the cars I buy. During the paperwork, I spotted what seemed to be a contradiction to the CPO sticker which I asked both my salesman and the sales manager about repeatedly. I don't want to accuse anybody of intentional deception, but I was told that the CPO paperwork would come as a separate contract which would include the inspection details, and not to worry about it. Unfortunately, everyone was friendly and I trusted their word, so I signed off. Of course, I take full responsibility for trusting verbal confirmations and a window sticker over a couple small clauses in the contract, which matters most, but I find it odd that this new dealership is digging their heels in about this so hard. They admitted their mistake to me via text, but told me to kick rocks unless I want to buy an extended warranty for another $2,400, which of course, my almost $3,000 "Platinum Protection Package" has nothing to do with. The odds of my transmission actually failing on this otherwise tremendously reliable car, are about 10%, so why they wouldn't want to honor a free equivalent warranty to mitigate their mistake and make a very happy customer is beyond me. I've followed up about a dozen times trying to solve this, and I got a final confirmation this morning that they do not want to honor their mistake, and instead tried to squeeze some additional cash out of me for an extended warranty, so I'm changing my review. On October 1, 2025, I purchased a 2025 Mazda CX-5 from Coconut Creek Mazda for my daughter. The vehicle was presented by the sales associate as a dealership loaner, Mazda Certified Pre-Owned, accident-free, and that I would be the first owner. The vehicle had approximately 6,652 miles at the time of purchase. No CARFAX or vehicle history report was provided prior to purchase. On January 1, 2026, I observed a paint discrepancy on the driver-side rear bumper. I obtained a CARFAX report independently, which showed that the vehicle was involved in an accident on May 17, 2025. The CARFAX report also lists me as the second owner of the vehicle. On January 2, 2026, I met with the General Manager, Tony Burbal, to discuss these findings. He stated that Mazda uses a different vehicle history reporting service rather than CARFAX and indicated that identifying the paint discrepancy would require professional inspection. No documentation was provided to address or reconcile the discrepancies. After reviewing the transaction documents, I identified the following inconsistencies and charges: The Retail Purchase Agreement lists the vehicle as gray with a gray interior; the vehicle is White Metallic with a black interior. The Application for Certificate of Motor Vehicle Title lists the vehicle as a hybrid; the vehicle is gasoline only. The CARFAX report identifies the vehicle as Mazda Certified Pre-Owned and lists me as the second owner, while the Retail Purchase Agreement and Buyers Guide list the vehicle as "used" and "AS-IS." Documentation for the prepaid maintenance program indicates the vehicle was certified and included a one-year, two-service plan at no cost; however, the Retail Purchase Agreement reflects a $780 charge. A $2,140 charge was applied for a seven-year, 100,000-mile Certified Vehicle Service Agreement, which is typically included with Mazda Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. The Retail Purchase Agreement includes a $1,465 "Other Aftermarkets" charge without explanation. Tire and wheel protection was verbally stated to be included at no cost; documentation reflects a $900 charge. A $105 charge was applied for a scholarship program without prior disclosure. Based on these findings, $4,385 in charges appear to be for items that were either not properly disclosed or represented as included at no cost. This amount does not include any potential impact on vehicle value related to the undisclosed accident history. After multiple attempts to speak with the General Manager, Tony Burbal, he is only wanting to speak with us over the phone and not in writing. We also contacted Mazda customer experience center and spoke with Amanda and she states that the car was never involved in an accident. read more

I agree with many of the reviews, this dealership is dishonest. I have a certified vehicle under warranty and they charged for diagnostics, which they didn't disclose. They had an advertised oil change special, which they refused to honor. I agreed to have them do the "recommended repairs" the car still idles rough. I walked out paying $300 dollars for basically an oil change, if they even actually did one. Very disappointing, these are the kind of dealers that give car salesman a bad name. read more

I was told in writing via email from a salesperson that the Mazda Platinum Package is not optional, it is a required part of their vehicle offering. Not only is this a deceptive sales practice it is down right illegal. Specifically the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.), is a federal law. This federal statute strictly prohibits sellers from conditioning the sale of a consumer product (including used vehicles) on the purchase of another product or service, thereby disallowing "tie-in sales." This deceptive and illegal sales tactic makes you wonder, if they are telling a lie about this, what else are they lying, stealing and cheating you about? I wish I could give negative stars. This dealership has some of the most disorganized and misleading communication I've ever dealt with in my 23 years of living. I received more than 10 calls from different salespeople just in one day all aggressively trying to get me to trade in my car. Mind you they've been texting me, calling me, mailing, and emailing me none stop just for me to reiterate my current situation. I made it very clear from the start that I'm not in a financial position to get into a new car unless everything made sense financially. I was reassured multiple times that wouldn't be an issue. I was told by one salesperson that I was already approved and just needed to come in to go over numbers. Later, a manager called me and repeated the same thing -- that I was approved and ready to move forward, just had to meet with finance. Mind you I told everyone I spoke that I didn't want to waste my time coming in unless everything was in the green which I was assured that I was. Fast forward to my scheduled appointment: I show up, only to find out they couldn't even find my credit report. Then the story completely changed. Suddenly I wasn't approved, and now they're saying I'd need a co-signer or a down payment to proceed -- the exact opposite of what I had been told repeatedly. Also I got a lecture how to improve my situation when from day one I've been well aware and told them multiple times that there was no way they would get me into a car. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic is completely unprofessional and a waste of people's time. If this is how they handle communication before a sale, I can't imagine how bad the follow-through would be afterward. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere unless you enjoy being misled and run around in circles. Eventually, I spoke to a rep named Kaua from what sounded like a call center. He said the dealership really wanted my car and would pay top dollar. I made it clear I needed more than the original KBB offer, and he assured me that wouldn't be a problem -- just bring the car in and they'd appraise it. I brought the car in and they offered $22,000. It was still below what I owed, so I declined. After that, I kept receiving calls and emails. The salesperson even called right after I left, begging me to take the deal. I explained I needed at least $23,000. This back-and-forth continued for a week, but they never budged from $22,000. Eventually, I agreed to the $22,000 just to be done with it. I was told to come in right away and bring all necessary documents so we could finalize the deal. When I arrived, I was greeted by someone named Mark. I handed over everything -- keys, documents, etc. -- and he left to "finalize the offer." When he returned, he told me they were now only offering $21,000. I was stunned. I reminded him that we had agreed to $22,000. He went to "talk to his manager" but came back with the same offer. At that point, I walked out. This dealership clearly uses bait-and-switch tactics. I gave them all the info on it before I left and they promised they were interested at the price I was asking. They found the car was as I described and they decided they weren't anywhere close and wasted 2 hours of my time. read more

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP LIKE THE PLAGUE! This has been the worst car-buying experience I have ever had. On 06/03/2025, I drove 4 hours to Coconut Creek Mazda to look at a 2015 Honda CRV-EXL. The car was listed on "Iseecars" at 11,500. CarFax said that the suggested value at a dealership should be 13,300. I was wondering why it was less but was naively hoping I was just getting a good deal, knowing that I would have to pay some dealer fees too and taxes/title/registration, which they listed at $1800 plus tax. The dealership listed the car as having a key fob, power windows, wipers, a touchscreen radio/Bluetooth/back-up camera, power outlets, etc. You would think if it is listing those things, they would be working. NOPE. I guess it is ok to just list that those are on the vehicle whether they are working or not. No lemon law in Florida and once I took possession of the car, I was screwed. Over $2600 in repairs and I am not even done yet. Not to mention all the hidden fees and bait and switch stuff. When I got it home and realized there were all these problems, I called immediately and got no answer. I called the next day and spoke with someone who said they were sorry that happened and to just bring it back and they would make it right. I said that I was 4 hours away and asked if there was any way that I could take it to a local Mazda dealership to get it fixed and was told that they would ask a manager. I told them that I was dealing with Tony. They said they would ask him. I never got an answer. I kept calling and texting and finally got an answer from a manager, Fabio, who said that they now wouldn't fix it at all and make it right because they lost money on the deal and weren't going to fix it and be out more money. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!! I lost the money. Not only did they not sell the car at 11,500, (they upped it to 12,000), they added a bunch of money for a "Platinum Protection Package" which is worthless....they put on RainX and say they are charging $200 for it. Their "Iseecars" price (which I have a picture of) says that the final price would be 16,183 plus tax. They didn't lose a thing on this car. I can only hope their only loss will be the bad press that I will be leaving across any website I can find. This dealership is the worst. My wife is in law enforcement, I was in law enforcement (retired), and we have a kid who is seriously sick. I wanted to give my wife something special to take him to appointments in and do something nice for her. We both have served the community for well over 20+ years for very little pay, and I was hoping that buying a car from a dealership instead of a private party would be a good experience and would be free from the worries that we were buying a lemon that we would just have to dump money into along with medical bills. I don't like to leave poor reviews about places because I don't want to hurt anybody's business, but this one seems very important to post. When this dealership opened a few months ago, it was closest to my house so I brought it in for service for an oil change. It ended up taking five hours because at first they didn't put the car up and then they said a machine broke and then they came up with all different excuses. I didn't post then because even though I was frustrated, I figured maybe they were fair issues. now I went in and I spoke to a sales person on the phone and they told me that 30 minutes would be enough time to have my car looked at and get a quote for a new lease. I was here for 30 minutes and then the manager (Fabio) came over and said he would need another hour because that's how they do business. He was very condescending and continue to argue with me. I would never come back here and highly recommend driving further to go to a different Mazda dealership. read more

I rarely write reviews and I also rarely have anything negative to say but this place changes all of that so I ended up going to this Mazda place because of the fake reviews that the staff probably wrote themselves because there's no way I'm the only person that they tried to scam here. I only came here for one reason and one reason only . It was as simple as my phone was just not connecting to my Bluetooth navigation screen in my Mazda and I already tried everything but nothing was working so I finally decided to bring it here because I'm a person that needs navigation to get to places. This bigger...actually ALOT bigger smelly ghetto black guy that works there with stains all over his uniform shirt was the one telling me that to fix JUST MY BLUETOOTH NAVIGATION is going to be 175$ which was kinda steep but not too bad in my book so I was fine with that but fast forward to 2 hours later he calls me and says it's actually 3,000$ to do all this extra BS like clean a semi dirty air filter or something and to replace the whole computer screen in my car which I knew wasn't the case because my music, phone calls , and everything else where working perfect. I just needed them to fix my Bluetooth navigation so basically they were trying to hustle me so I said no I'll just deal with not having navigation and just pay the 175$ for "they're time". So when I got my car back and turned it on the Bluetooth navigation was working again! They really tried to hustle me and charge me 3,000$ just for something so little like a setting on my Mazda screen. My advice is don't ever pay them the price that they tried to hustle you for. No one should ever pay 3000$ for something so small like that. It shouldn't even be 300$! I will never come back here again. The staff is really shady will do about anything to up charge you for the littlest thing. If you feel like the price that they give you too high, it probably is and they're trying to scam you. I sold my car to Coconut Creek Mazda on July 21. It took them nine days to pay off my loan. It is now August 12 and I am still waiting for my check they promised to mail me since I am out of state. I have not been able to speak with the GM or a Manager on Duty after 5 phone calls. I strongly advise if you have a car to sell, take it to CarMax where they are professional. I sold my deceased husband's car a few years ago and it was a simple and honest transaction at CarMax. And, they handed me the check the same day. If you want to be jerked around and lied to, go to Coconut Creek Mazda. Oh, and did I mention they payed me $500 less than what we agreed to for my 2021 Mazda CX5 with 19k miles? I was so beaten down and disgusted by all the runaround I agreed just to get out of that place so I could catch my flight the next morning. Mazda of Coconut Creek, you should be ashamed of how you treat customers who have stood by your brand for 8 years. Never again. I will take my business anywhere else. Thankfully, I didn't make a new purchase there so no comment on what that experience is like. But...if I had to guess...? read more
