Absolute worst customer service I've ever had to deal with I purchased several items spent a lot of…read moremoney and within less than 24 hours the ankle bracelet that I purchase had broken so I went to the store at the beginning of the day immediately with my receipt to do a simple exchange since it was less than 24 hours and it was the same cashier and no one would help me out I got turned away I got told that the manager would call me back never emailed me never called back I ruined a day of vacation having to deal with this issue and rudeness. The employees literally said that they can't make any decisions or else they'll get fired I think that's absolutely pathetic. Why hire employees if you can't trust them to make logical decisions to keep clientele. I'll never shop here again. The owner/manager finally wrote back to place fault me and say they will do me a favor by repairing the item and mailing it to me free of charge. Being sold a faulty piece should be exchanged and is a reasonable request especially within 24 hrs of being sold... the ankle bracelet broke in a place I couldn't break and my ankles are not at all big ... picture included of ankle bracelet. I'll be dropping it off in the morning. I will be following up on this review to give everyone an update how long it takes etc to get back. Customer service is how you keep business & gather more. This experience has been absurd.

The first table I came upon was pants mostly denim at$30 Cash Only. I started looking for my size when the man who works there barked at me that every pile was by size. Truthfully it wasn't obvious only that the sizing was rather small thus the sale. So I made my way to the largest size 31. Couldn't find anything I liked so decided I must be a 30 instead. There was two other racks for ladies and one for men's. The men's sizing was too large for my son and too small for hubby so I went through the two remaining racks for Ladies. Nice names like Joie everything was pretty small sizes. In the end I got a pair of Jeans AG ED Denim regularly $225. for $30 and a top DO + BE white sleeveless with a lace inset $19. So I make my way inside to pay and leave. There was a woman ahead of me also buying Sale but didn't have Cash so he took her charge card anyway. He than says to me it is Cash I said yes no problem and paid and left. I think he has terrific items inside but always hate to shop where I am obviously not wanted. I don't even think he realizes how he treats people. He told me he only has this sale once a year. Perhaps he was having a bad day but according to other reviews it seems to be the norm. Anyway it was nice to shop in the Grove albeit it wasn't warm and friendly.

Today, however, I decided that I would not step foot in Unika again. On September 12, at around 1:00 p.m., I walked into the store and immediately noticed a top that I thought my sister would love. Before purchasing it, I wanted to take a quick picture to send to her and make sure she liked it. Within seconds of taking the photo, one of the store employees loudly said, "No pictures." I explained why I had taken the picture, but instead of simply explaining the store's policy, she continued to berate me and lecture me about why I was not allowed to take photos. The way she addressed me was unnecessary and made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable in front of the other customers. At that point, I told her, "I would rather leave this store right now, as you have just embarrassed me in front of the other customers," and I walked out. I understand that stores can have policies about photography, and I would have had no issue respecting the policy had it been communicated to me respectfully. What I cannot understand is treating a longtime customer in such a condescending and humiliating manner over something so minor. After years of shopping at Unika, today's experience was the final straw. I will not be returning.

My wife and I have been to quite a few, and found it to be a good place to buy department store quality (i.e. not clothes specifically made for an outlet) for reduced prices. This location had the one thing we look for: a large clearance area for both women and men, and this store fit that bill well. It has free wi-fi, which was appreciated. It didn't seem too busy while browsing throughout the store, but then realized how high the throughput was when having to wait in a very long line. They had all registers going, and the line moved surprisingly quickly. We were just window shopping, but I ended up buying some Nike briefs that were double clearanced, making it well over 50% off.

So busy that the fittings room lines were a little insane. The staff was saying that if you download the Zara app you can actually make somewhat a reservation for the fitting room. Overall picked up some items for the summer ahead and honestly I guess you need to spend some time in here if you don't know your size and fit.
