This is such a cute coffee shop tucked away in a shopping plaza where Mimi Yoga is. I've come a couple times after class and it's been great each time. There's plenty of artisan/healthy snacks and products for sale around the shop. You'll be so busy looking at everything available that you don't notice how quick the line moves. The girls working are always so kind and make it a point to say how much they value you coming in. Each time I have gotten the iced latte with the vanilla flavor added. I like it better without the cold foam but to each their own. My only suggestion would be for bigger sized cups for more coffee!!!

I have been seeing all the girls go here recently I knew that I had to give it a try. The parking is limited it's next to Mimi Yoga. It is an upscale grocery store with a limited coffee menu. I got a latte with regular milk and foam and vanilla for a total of $9. That's a bit pricy. It is more of a place you go to for the vibe . It was very very busy with lots of girls and couples. Interesting concept. As a Nutritionist I loved to see all the different wellness products.

Absolutely love this place!!!!!! Everything is organic, no processed sugar, and made with so much care. The owners are there personally, having the owner serve you herself is amazing. The décor is stunning and spotless. The sourdough cachitos are out of this world, and the matcha tea is phenomenal, perfectly made and full of flavor. Cozy, beautiful atmosphere, and despite being small, there's a great flow of people. Highly recommend 100%!

I love this cute spot! Aside from being a little cafe, they sell so many snacks and goodies. I got the iced latte with the cold foam. It's perfect for coffee lovers: nice and strong and you can actually taste the espresso! It is not sweet, so if you like sweet coffee, make sure you get a sweetener! I also picked up a pack of glonuts. It was my first time trying that product, they were cold sugary and tasty! Love. Chairs are comfortable to sit in and the barista was kind and helpful! Have to retract a star for the difficult parking situation in that plaza

I've been dying to come try this coffee and finally I was around the area and WOW. Worth it alllllll, the girls are friendly and very helpful when picking coffee options. It is a small place but I came mid day around 1pm and wasn't packed at all. I got the ice vanilla maple with cold foam. Best cold foam ever.

Basquet is not for everyone, I gotta say that. Some people call it a grocery store but they are not a grocery store. They just have several small shelves with a pretty limited number of items which are priced pretty high, in my opinion. However, I think it is an interesting concept and provided they positioned themselves next to Mimi Yoga, is a smart marketing strategy as it naturally carries that traffic for customers who are looking for these kind of natural and clean label products. They are also a coffeeshop and that's what I came for. My recommendation is to stick to the basis, otherwise your drink will become overly priced. I had an iced latte($5.45) with homemade cold foam (it's a $2 add). The foam was delicious but it disappears quickly, so it is something I won't get next time I'm back. Overall, I liked the coffee, I wish it was a bit more acidic, but it was nicely balanced, something I would drink everyday.

I've seen Basquet pop up on my social feed quite a bit so I thought it was time to give it a try. Parking seriously is the biggest turn off with this experience. If you happen to go when a class is in session at the yoga studio next door, good luck finding a parking spot. The place itself is really cute. Friendly staff and a nice aesthetic to it. They have a small variety of groceries which is cool too. Overall, the coffee was okay. My friend had their matcha and described it as a bit watered down. It's a nice place but I wouldn't say it made my must-go-to list.

Basquet is a cute little market with a coffee shop tucked inside. I came specifically for the coffee, and while the setup is charming, parking is very limited which makes it a bit of a hassle to get in and out. I ordered a matcha with cold foam and a vanilla flavor that the barista recommended. It was really good; smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. That said, it was $9, which feels a bit steep for a matcha. I also tried the turkey cachito, which I enjoyed but again, $7 for a small pastry feels overpriced. Overall, the quality is there, but the prices might make me think twice. I'd come back if I'm already in the area, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I've often times passed by very pretty. The girls that work there are very friendly the only thing it's kind of expensive for me.

This area was once the lower floor recreational rooms of the house enjoyed by James Deering. These rooms for men's recreation once housed the bowling, smoking, and billiard rooms. You must purchase a museum admission to have access to the gift shop and cafe. In 2017 Hurricane Irma did significant damage depositing three feet of water into the gift shop and cafe. It took three and a half years for this part of the museum to reopen. The historic leaded glass doors alongside the swimming pool and the terrazzo floor in the Smoking Room were restored and the stainless-steel sinks and kitchen tables were refurbished while kitchen equipment was added. Today the newly renovated Vizcaya Café and Gift Shop is managed by A Joy Wallace Catering with an eye towards healthier grab and go food choices. The menu includes appetizers, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, wine, coffee, tea, and desserts. I particularly love that they carry a selection of Tea Forte. There is also a children's menu. Many of the dishes are prepared with herbs grown in the garden. You can eat inside or outside with a view of the garden. The gift shop has a selection of carefully curated items inspired by the history, architecture, and gardens of Vizcaya. They sell books, candles, tea, coffee, ornaments, vases, decorative items, models, mugs, dishes, t-shirts, postcards, towels, coasters, and more. I especially loved a glass monarch butterfly you can hang in the window. It is obvious that the museum put a lot of effort not only into the space of their retail area and cafe but also into the variety of items they sell and the food and drinks they serve. This is one of the nicest museum cafe and gift shops that I have had the pleasure of visiting.

Since it was a beautiful day we sat outside on the heavy metal garden furniture outside. my beeper went off pretty quickly. The food was ok. on a Saturday @ 11:30, we ordered the last Cubano. It was ok but un-remarkable. Bread was fresh, but not grilled. The pork was pretty flavorless. The flatbread of the day, again, was ok,but unremarkable. Very heavy on the fig jam and balsamic. Clearly they are trying to be a step up from museum fast food, but not really there yet.

The Golden Triangle has been in the Gables for as long as I can remember, and the perfect place to pick up a unique gift. I usually go for crystals and incense but they have a lot of interesting things. If you want to pick up something unique and meaningful, this is your spot. Parking is ample on the street, but be mindful of times as during lunch and happy hour times its busy. There is a garage on aragon right by the store so it's a good option as well. I visited here around 1 PM on a Monday in November. There was one person finishing up a big shop and chatting with the employee as we walked around and looked and interacted with all the little trinkets. It's so hard to even describe the store because there's any and everything here. In the back right, there were clothing. In the front right of the store, there were magnets and other things for your desk. In the front left of the store and along majority of the left wall, there was everything from essential oil of candles to incense. In the middle of the store, it was a mosh pit of everything else you can think of that is inspired by south and Southeast Asian culture. I go to the swap meet, flee market, and cultural stores a lot and this place was a bit cheaper than what I seen in other places. The only downside to this place is that it is overstimulating. I love colors but even this was a bit much for me. I was visually overstimulated. The smells were a bit overwhelming. I was just not prepared for that.
