From the moment my friends and I walked in, we were immediately harassed by the worker on duty for absolutely no reason. We were completely respectful, yet we were denied service without any explanation. When we questioned this, the worker became aggressive and even went as far as to threaten us, claiming their "thug friends" would make sure we got messed up if we didn't leave. In a community as prestigious and welcoming as Coconut Grove, this kind of behavior is shocking and unacceptable. It's disgraceful that a business in such a great area would allow an employee to treat paying customers this way. Walked into the shop to look around and potentially purchase something but the employee felt that we shouldn't even have the privilege of being in there because we didn't greet him to his standards. Honestly by far the most miserable worker I've ever been in contact with. From the moment my friends and I walked in the gentleman working gave us such attitude because we were looking around and not purchasing something fast enough. My friend who had thankfully picked out something by the time he tried to kick us out went to purchase it and he almost refused to sell it to her because he questioned that her ID looked "fake" when she's almost 30 years old. Even when leaving he yelled at the next couple who entered because they were "talking too loud" and it "was a small store". I don't leave reviews, but the experience I had today was absolutely shocking and warrants warning others - AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! I'm a local and have shopped here before and never will again. The employee working there tried getting into a confrontation with me, cursing me out and following me out of the store onto the street while threatening to "fuck me up," all because he felt that I hadn't greeted him to his satisfaction at the door! Whether he was just mentally ill or on drugs or both is irrelevant, this behavior is unacceptable and is a stain on Coconut Grove. Must-visit destination when you visit the grove! Staff is very friendly. It's like the cheers of smoke shops, where everybody knows your name. There's always a guy sitting on a chair outside keeping an eye on the neighborhood. He looks scary, but he's not. You can ask him for directions or recommendations & he'll send you to the right spot! Oh yea, you can also buy stuff there. They have all the different levels of delta products, legal THC, so much fun smoking paraphernalia & gifts. Was making plans to stop by after dinner next door, so I was able to see the place open all through dinner (and checked their hours on Yelp)...until we left and saw they had just turned off the light and turned over their "sorry, we're closed"...by 11:30 even though their hours say they close at midnight. I guess they should change the hours to "whenever the hell we want to close" or "until we're tired of working"? That might be a little more honest. It's Friday night. Sense the moment I turned 18 Luckys has been the smoke shop I've always gone to & it's always been the place I recommend everyone to go to but today sadly is the day that has changed... I walked in & was looking for a battery pack but I didn't use the right word for it when I was explaining to her what I was looking for so she(who's name I didn't get) literally rolled her eyes at me gave me an attitude I was taken aback to & tried to ignore & with a nice sour tone told me it was a battery pack & went on to complain about how people come in looking for a pen SORRY YOUR TOO GOOD FOR THE REST OF US I GUESS... I went on & asked for a square "BATTERY PACK" when she showed the one the store sold I asked how is the battery life & ms. Knowledgeable said "oh i don't know" & with the up most shame I left to a near by smoke shop where I got treated right & had a pleasant experience where I didn't have to be the most properly worded. By the way the word that I used was "cartridge" which she could've figured out when I said the bottom part but on to the next I guess things truly do change & customer service goes out the door. I really didn't want to post this but after waiting 8 days short of a month for a refund on a double charge to my card. After showing proof of charges. Even going to the extent of putting my bank on the phone with the owner, which my bank confirmed the charges to be still present on my account. I have been told they do not see the charges on there end. I have now been told to dispute with my bank the charges. I've been going to this place sense it was called yuckys but never again. You lost a customer and his friends which will know about this unfortunate situation. Great little shop in a convenient location. Great selection of products, is literally a one-stop-shop for everything and anything smoke.
