Living in the area my entire life, I had never been to this location until recently. When entering…read morethe area, you are greeted and asked to sign liability waivers. You can do so either via QR code or traditional pen/paper/ipad. Kids, Vets, and adults all have their own pricing. Mine was $16 to enter for an adult. There are llamas, goats, chickens, bunnies, horses, and other animals about. Coming here reminded me of when I was little going to similar farms in Modestka canyon. There are opportunities for kids to ride a train, play on a horse, feed the animals, dig sand using kiddy tractors, and search for gold. I had alot of fun watching the kids play and creating memories with my little guy and his mommy. It can get hot now that the weather is heating up, so I suggest taking into consideration when you visit, bringing water/hydrating, and snacks if needed. Bring your sunscreen and hat. There are areas where you can sit and tables. 10/10

There were goats, an emu, and other animals to feed. There are also pony rides that cost more money. The kids enjoyed it. The staff were also really friendly. There is also an area to do some panning and sit on a digger. They charge for both of those. And the panning has different tiers if you want to splurge and get better rocks. One of the diggers was out of order, and the digger my son went on wasn't working properly. The guy at that station was on his phone the whole time and wasn't available to help, so that was a wasted run. Very much a cash grab. Honestly, the boutique shops and eateries around the ranch and the small park were more worth it.

We enjoyed the scenic 15 min ride on the train around the park. Please note this is on every third weekend of the month. Rides are free but donations are gladly accepted. Plenty of parking. We visited Kid Can Do expecting a fun, engaging indoor play space for young children, but it felt more like a restrictive, adult-supervised activity zone than a true play area. The biggest issue was the inconsistency and lack of freedom for the kids. Plenty of cupboards, covers, and storage areas were unlocked and easily accessible, so naturally the children explored them. As soon as they pulled out toys or art supplies, staff quickly took them away because they "weren't part of this week's theme." If you're going to leave things unlocked and within reach, kids are going to play with them, that's completely normal and developmentally appropriate. Instead, we spent most of our time picking up after our child and saying "no" or redirecting them. If that's the kind of experience you're looking for, this is the spot for you. If you want a place where children can actually play freely without constant intervention, look elsewhere. It also didn't feel developmentally suitable for the younger ages they advertise for. The setup created more frustration than fun, with limited open-ended play opportunities. On top of that, the cost felt excessive for what's offered. For the price, I expected more space, better variety, and far less policing of normal kid behavior. You could re-create what they offer for a fraction of what you are paying to go here for 90 minutes and have better peace of mind doing it in your own home. Save your time and money. Head to Play Pie or the New Children's Museum down in San Diego instead--both are much better options for actual play and exploration. It was a quick 2 hr limit and it was perfect because after you would be able to sit outside with everyone else if you wanted to stay longer. The place is very clean and the restrooms were spotless as well. The area to play around was very small but entertaining for the kids! They did have a snack area and were kept stocked with lots of chips, drinks, coffee and some candy. They did provide you with socks which I loved!

Even the side entrance by the party rooms had shoes available! My LO is 2 1/2, and I thought this place was perfect for her age. I can see kids aging out around 8-10, depending on size. She had so much fun. There was a private event and we definitely stayed until we had to leave. 10/10 would come again! Looking forward to the next time we go.

My first recent try was to go the traditional route - heater, filter, bottles of water conditioner & beneficial bacteria, etc. etc. - when I unexpectedly happened upon an eye-opening You-Tube vid about the Walstad method (less homework & a more natural environment, the way God intended). So I returned all that other gear & am starting from scratch. Fernando eased My initial anxiety arriving as a total tank newbie, and gave Me a tour of the various low-maintenance plants I could start My nitrogen cycling with. Nolan - the Captain of this aquarium supplies ship - answered every one of My questions with patience & grace, did not talk down to Me or make Me feel stupid, and I left feeling happily hopeful that I might actually be successful in creating a fish-friendly safe & healthy environment. I am already envisioning My future fishy tenants, plus a snail & a sucker fish or two. Wish Me luck!! :-)

My first time here was a few days ago - I got Hornwort, bolbitus, and dwarf water lettuce. They were all thriving. Hornwort fluffy and full! Also Thursday's is 25% off plants !! I came again today and brought a friend and she was also so happy we stayed there for like an hour just looking at everything. They have multiple rooms and a lot of tanks. The store seems small but it's not ; there's a lot of variety of fish, plants, and shrimp. Today there were red root floaters, one of the employees actually grew them - they were so healthy and super red I had to buy 3 cups !! I got more dwarf water lettuce bc my axolotl loved hanging in the roots. Staff today was super nice and helpful. There were 2 guys. It was extremely busy when I came like 10 people and they were helping everyone collaboratively. I hate when an employee only focuses on 1 customer who takes forever thinking and observing and there's a ton of ppl waiting. It wasn't like that here, the guy would answer a question and move on to another client. Also when the guy was fishing out some shrimp he was still talking to other customers and answering questions. I loved the vibe here. I will def be returning!!!!!

The turf is ripped, full of holes, and in rough shape on pretty much every hole. We honestly considered turning around and asking for a refund, but our kids were so excited to play that we stuck it out rather than crush their little mini-golf dreams. The staff was genuinely friendly, so no complaints there--they were the best part of the experience. I can't speak for the other attractions, but if you're coming for mini golf, I'd recommend spending the extra few bucks and heading to Holy Moly at the Spectrum instead. At least there, the biggest obstacle is the course--not whether the carpet will survive another round.
