Ok this was such a fun time with my family. I went for the mini golf course and we all had such an amazing time. After the golf course, my family and I went to the arcade to play a few games. After my dad recently passed away, bringing my own kids here for the very first time was a deeply special trip for our family--and the experience couldn't have been better. A huge shoutout to Deon, who provided the best customer service we've experienced anywhere in a long time. Our kids had an absolute blast, and Deon was fantastic with them. I used to come here 20+ years ago when it was Palace Park, and I swear the mini golf course hasn't changed since then...except it's aged about as well as a forgotten carpet. The turf is ripped, full of holes, and in rough shape on pretty much every hole. We honestly considered turning around and asking for a refund, but our kids were so excited to play that we stuck it out rather than crush their little mini-golf dreams. The staff was genuinely friendly, so no complaints there--they were the best part of the experience. I can't speak for the other attractions, but if you're coming for mini golf, I'd recommend spending the extra few bucks and heading to Holy Moly at the Spectrum instead. At least there, the biggest obstacle is the course--not whether the carpet will survive another round. read more

I came to Boomers for a corporate event, and honestly, it was a pretty good package. We got unlimited rides, go-karts, laser tag, and 3 hours of free gameplay. The free games were the blue tap games, so you don't earn tickets, but there were still a ton of fun options. We didn't even come close to using the full 3 hours because there was so much to do. My favorites were the basketball games and Connect 4 basketball. We played a few rounds of laser tag, which was super fun, but a lot of the equipment seemed broken that day. They also couldn't split us into teams, so everyone was playing individually instead. The go-karts were really fun for a group we got a whole round to just our coworkers. Some of the karts definitely felt faster than others, which made things interesting. We also did mini golf, and the course was much bigger than I expected. It took quite a while to get through all the holes. One thing to note is that the rides don't always have staff standing by them. If you want to ride something, you may have to find an employee and ask them to operate it. Overall, there was honestly more to do than we could fit into the 3 hours. We didn't even get to everything we wanted to try. Despite a few operational issues, we had a really fun time and felt like the event package offered a lot of value. read more

Never knew this place existed until this past weekend, it is expensive but if you stay for a few hours it makes up for it with the unlimited pass. This past weekend the downfall we had were two of the rides were closed down. Tons of parking, never had an issue with staff everyone was acknowledgeable, nice and explained how the process works. Bought the tickets online to save, this place has rides, arcades, and food. I suggest going right when it opens, the mini golf gets super crowded so the kids and I just kept playing in random courses to avoid the long lines. Surprisingly the food wasn't bad at all, it is pricey, but favorable. I also enjoyed the fact that the claw machine wasn't a scam like most places, my kids enjoyed the fact that they were able to win plushies that was the highlight of my time. read more

Holy cow this place is expensive. So grateful to my dad for paying for us all to go. It's $50 per kid to have unlimited for the day, including 20 credits at the arcade, which barely covers anything. My kids loved the go-karts and the starship zero gravity spinning ride and laser tag. Go when it opens because it gets really crowded in the second half of the day. Boomers has been around basically my whole life so I'm happy for them that they've found a way to stay open all this time. Food reviews- expensive but pretty good. My bro liked the quesadilla, the kids liked their chicken, my dad liked his burger, and my other bro and I shared the nacho avalanche- definitely don't try to eat the nachos alone. They're huge. Also I added steak for protein- turns out they come with meat even if you don't ask for it (chili) so no need to pay more for that. And if you're vegetarian, now you know not to get those. My family and I decided we wanted to celebrate Mother's Day by playing mini-golf at Boomers. When we arrived we were greeted and helped by Carlos, Clarissa and the entire team. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and I have to say the customer service was absolutely amazing. We ordered a round of mini golf for three players, because our fourth was free (4 y.o. and under get to play for free. Rad!). Carlos went out of his way to make sure we were included into a special that they were running for the holiday, and even gave us a card for the arcade. I really wanted to love my daughter's 10th birthday party at Boomers, but unfortunately the experience was stressful from beginning to end. We spent around $1,200, and there were issues before the party even started. I was given conflicting information about the room, decorations, food rules, discounts, and even received incorrect booking information. On the day of the party, we had nonworking cards, missing wristbands, billing issues, and very little help from staff. Two of my older kids did not go on a single ride or use any attractions, but I was still required to pay for them. I spent a huge part of my daughter's birthday trying to find employees and fix problems instead of actually enjoying the party with her. We also felt rushed throughout the event, and I was dealing with the bill while I was still actively hosting the party. What has been even more disappointing is the lack of customer service afterward. I have emailed, left multiple voicemails, contacted different people, and repeatedly asked for corporate to call me. I finally received one call, returned it and left a voicemail, and still have not heard back. For the amount of money we paid, I expected much better organization, communication, and customer service. I'm not expecting a full refund, but I do believe a partial refund is reasonable considering everything that went wrong. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not book another birthday party here. read more

Nice facility for a good time out for adults and kids alike. I've been here a few times the past year or so and have tried pretty much all of their offerings. Mini golf is $18/adult. There are two courses and each course takes about an hr or so. You can pay once and do both courses. I went most recently on a Friday evening and it was pretty crowded though, so I would say maybe half the time on the course was waiting for the party in front of you. Just keep that in mind. The go-karts are pretty standard. The wait for the go-karts can be long because the turn cycle can take awhile since the workers need to check if everyone is properly wearing a seatbelt, etc. The laser tag was solid. Sometimes the guns don't work so just make sure you test your equipment before the game starts, otherwise you really can't participate and you have to wait in line again (this happened to me once...). I would avoid the arcade games. They are too expensive. Some games are $2-3 just for one game. The batting cages are pretty neat. Not sure how many other batting cages there are in OC. But here it is $5 for a round of 25 balls. They also have bats and helmets you can borrow for free. Overall a decent place to hang out and have fun. It can be easy to spend a lot though so I would limit yourself to 1-2 attractions or just get the all-day pass. Even then I think the all-day pass is $45 so still pricey. read more

This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Our group was there for a private teen tour event, and our contract clearly ran until 10:00 PM. However, starting around 9:50 PM, the go-kart attendants began making excuse after excuse to avoid letting our group ride, even though there was still time remaining under the agreement. The attendants were rude, dismissive, and completely unreasonable. Instead of trying to accommodate a private event that had paid for time until 10:00 PM, they stalled, argued, and wasted the remaining time with excuses until they could simply say they were closed. It felt like they were intentionally running out the clock rather than honoring the event. What made the situation even more frustrating was how unresponsive and unprofessional the staff were. They showed no interest in helping or finding a solution and treated our group with a complete lack of respect. This was supposed to be a fun night for a teen tour, but the attitude and conduct of the go-kart attendants completely ruined that part of the experience. When a business signs a contract for a private event, guests should be able to rely on the business to honor it. Instead, we were met with poor customer service, unreasonable behavior, and excuses until closing time. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no group should be treated this way after paying for a private event. read more

Have visited many times over the years. Many changes over time, some good. Last night I went with my teenage son and arrived less than two hours before closing which meant we each got an unlimited attraction pass for $29. This was a good value compared to regular prices. Enjoyed the go carts twice; attendants were very patient with customers and trouble makers. Cart track is super fun, carts ran well, fun competition! Bumper boats were closed; perhaps weather isn't warm enough yet or demand was low. Two fountain sodas at the snack bar were $13. Pretty outrageous. Tried to use the batting cages. Our unlimited pass didn't seem to apply however, which was disappointing, as our key cards were unable to activate the cages in two different lanes. We moved on to mini golf. Well lit and good music is the best I can say. Overall I can tell the courses have been improving from a maintenance standpoint but the greens are TERRIBLE. If you have to putt over broken turf or your ball gets stuck in a pit of death that used to be part of the brick border, it disrupts the fun and becomes frustrating. Seriously, Boomers. Put some of that ridiculous soda pop revenue into fixing your miserable astroturf. There were tears and holes everywhere. The arcade gets periodically updated but we didn't use it this time due to time constraints. Always had fun on the multitude of games available. Same with laser tag, we just ran out of time. Was not crazy about the process for golf putters and bats for the batting cages. There only seemed to be one person in charge of handing these out from the desk and they were stuck handling a long ticket line so we pretty much helped ourselves by reaching over the counter and grabbing what we needed. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Boomers today. While riding the go-karts, a group of teenagers bumped my kart and spun me out. I wasn't upset about that at all--I understand that some bumping happens during go-karts and I actually thought it was funny. However, when the ride ended and we pulled into the unloading area, my boyfriend and I were suddenly told that we were banned. No explanation was given, and we were both extremely confused because we had not caused any problems. As we were trying to leave, one of the employees yelled at me, "THAT'S NOT AN EXIT!" I immediately stopped and said okay, but I was shocked by how aggressively I was spoken to. When I asked for the employee's name, she refused to provide it. I then took a photo because I wanted documentation of who I had interacted with. At that point, another male employee became confrontational and asked me, "Do you want to get fucked up?" He then appeared to be encouraging his coworker to fight me. No customer should ever be threatened by employees, especially over a simple request for information. I understand enforcing rules when necessary, but there was no professionalism, no explanation, and no attempt to de-escalate the situation. Being yelled at, threatened, and treated with hostility by staff completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun day. Management should seriously review the conduct of the employees working the go-kart area. read more

The pros are that it is relatively not busy when I come, however, the machines are hit or miss in terms of actually working and pitching at the right level and a whole host of other factors. This is a very convenient location and the employees are nice so all in all I would come back. $4.00 for 25 pitches or you can get a value 6pack for $20.00. Boomers still really needs a bit of TLC or maybe a makeover! I came here last night for a birthday party and while it was very fun, I can see some areas where Boomers could be a lot better. First off, the area where you eat was so LOUD...I'm thinking that's where the music speakers must be. We literally had to yell to hear one another. Also, they have giant TVs up, but I noticed that they had the intro screen on, versus playing the actually movie. They could also use the TVs to play sports games for the parents while kids are playing. The food was what you'd expect. Pizza was pretty good, and then they have fries, chicken strips, dip n dots, icees, etc. I played laser tag for the first time ever, despite coming to Boomers since I was a little kid. It's $18 per person, which felt pretty high, since you only get 10 minutes. The space inside to play was fun but pretty basic. There were some hiding areas and red and blue colored lights - I'd love them to use a black light or have some more fun colors. It smelled like they are in need of some new carpet or a deep cleaning for sure. It has a real musty smell. The bathrooms were atrocious. Many toilets weren't flushing, stalls without toilet paper and trash on the ground. Every time I have been to Boomers lately I just think about how they could really put in a little $ to make it that much better! I'm sure they're making decent money, cuz it's not super cheap. I've been seeing Boomers ever since I moved to Orange County -- it's been around 17 years now. Yesterday, since my kids had the day off (and it was a Monday), I decided to finally take them there. When I told them, the first thing my son asked was, "What's the rating like?" I brushed it off and told him it couldn't be that bad. We bought the all-day pass, which costs $44 per person, and went in soon after opening. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a bit for the rides to start since we were the only ones there for a while. Most of the other guests seemed more interested in miniature golf. There were only six rides total, and most of them felt old, slow, and honestly a bit boring for my 14- and 9-year-old. The only ones they really enjoyed were the Starship and the go-karts -- those were actually fun. Everything else felt more suited for much younger kids and definitely not worth the price. If you're into mini golf or batting cages, you might have a better time. The arcade games were decent, but i had to pay extra as the all day pass has only a very limited amount , which added to the disappointment. Would I recommend Boomers? No, I wouldn't. Would I go again? Definitely not. For the same money, I'd rather take my kids to Knott's Berry Farm or even Dave & Buster's for a better arcade experience. One last thing -- most of the employees looked tired and not very enthusiastic, except for two girls running the go-karts, who were actually friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. My son and I just left Boomers in Irvine for his 6th grade promotion celebration and I wanted to take the time to thank your AMAZING staff! Literally everyone we came in contact with today (06/03/26) was fantastic! We got the unlimited wristbands so we were all over the place all afternoon until closing. Special shout-out to the following staff members: go karts (especially), entry/golf counter, laser tag guys, snack bar, and even the line monitor at the go karts attraction around 2pm, making sure the field trip kids weren't jumping the line (thank you!! - I know that's probably not the easiest/most exciting job, but us parents appreciate it!). Went to Boomers today as a family with young kids plus grandparents. The staff seemed miserable, especially the women working behind the ticket/gift shop counter. I don't expect people to be super friendly, but these workers were outright rude and unhelpful. Many of the staff operating the rides seemed frustrated and unhappy with their jobs, too. It seems like the establishment is understaffed because the same workers were going from ride to ride to let people on. Many of the rides had to be started up because I guess they're turned off between guests. This practice of having workers go from ride to ride, not really "owning" the safety or operation of any one ride and just kinda turning rides on and off as needed, doesn't seem safe and made me wonder when was the last time the park passed safety inspections. Bathrooms were dirty despite the fact that the park was empty. The upside was that the go carts were fun (they have a track for adults and bigger kids, and a track for young kids to drive on their own) and the water bumpers were fun, too. Traveled a couple hundred miles to visit boomers and I've got to say overall I was pretty underwhelmed, unimpressed and disappointed. But once you're there, you try to make the best of it. Pros and cons: The arcade was fun, but had an everlasting stinky odor that was truly unpleasant. The cabana area that we rented out didn't have a trashcan, so all of the trash that we accumulated from the extremely mediocre food that we purchased just started to pile up on the table. The television in the cabana area also didn't work. We asked multiple employees to assist, but ultimately no one came to do so. The go karts were hands-down, the funnest ride at the entire theme park. The line for them got rather long so you had to wait a while and while waiting the fumes from the go kart at times got a bit nauseating. The UFO ride and the teacup ride were enjoyable with no complaints. Fortunately, most of the kiddos in my party didn't seem to have a problem with the theme park and about 50% of them enjoyed themselves, which is a good thing. But in all honesty, after this visit, I would never under any circumstances revisit boomers. read more

It had been over 10 years since we last visited, and walking back into this nostalgic park brought back so many memories. I will say though it was really difficult to locate a worker when we wanted to play laser tag. We kept ringing the button, and also when I got attention of someone who worked there, he told me to just hold the button and someone will eventually come. No one came so we decided to play at the arcades and come back later. So grateful to get to play in the laser tag room because it was so fun!!! Boomers is one of those places that's an easy one to go-to for the kids to have fun. This particular one is pretty decent, it's close to the freeway, huge parking lot, nice sized outdoor mini golf. They also have rides outside but more often than not, 2-3 of them are closed at any given time. We came on a Friday night, they had no one to man the food station so we had to have a manager come over to sell us beer and they ran out of all food except bagged chips. So, for a Friday night, that was a bit of a downer. The arcade is pretty fun/ they have games for all ages. The people that work there... eh, they probably aren't paid well because they look annoyed whenever we asked something (except for the manager, she was really nice and juggling different hats).
