I than canceled appt thru have have ceiling repaired till they agreed to inspection. After thinking about it i decided it call them to discuss this. I left a message they never called me back! They installed a roof for us 5 years ago. We have had at least 6 leaks repaired every year new leak. Raining now and my roof is leaking in three different spot. It's a lot 2,000 dollars per repair then a lot 3,000 for repairs to my home. We have a warranty for this last repair that's leaking now. Code Red Roofing Company took the old roof off one day and did not cover our house. We had a heavy rain storm that night. A Mold Remediator has declared our home unsafe to live in because of the mold. All of the beautiful hardwood flooring will have to be replaced. I wore a mask to get a few things from the house and was in the house about 10 minutes. On the way back to the hotel, I had to go to the Emergency Room and was there for 5 hours until they got my breathing back to normal. I am an 80 year disabled veteran and being displaced from my home is extremely stressfu. read more

My landlord hired code red roofers to put a new roof on our duplex and so far it has been an absolute wreck. They blocked all entrances to my house to the point where I couldn't enter. I had to knock on the window of the workers truck (where he was sitting on his phone) and get him to move stuff out of the way so I could enter my house. They finished taking the old roof off and there are rusty nails EVERYWHERE. I picked up at least 25 that were clearly visible in my drive way and front door area. I've now had 2 nails poke through my shoes. I'm terrified to let my dog into the grass because im sure there are a ton of nails in it. They flattened the plants by our front door and broke our solar powered lights (they no longer turn on at night). Had my roof down by code red roofers at first they were extremely responsive I am a single parent I also have a son with disabilities I had to finance the roof which was actually triple for what the roof actually cost after all the fees. So the first day they came out and they started the roof they were ripping everything off the roof ripping sides off the roof the roof was left open and exposed overnight as it rained I called and I spoke with the project manager he insured me that he will get someone out to look at it. They came out three days later informed me that the roof was going to cost me another $800 that was outside of the finance amount they told me and I was told I could afford $800 but if it goes above that please let me know as to I am on a fixed income no one ever said anything to me so I assumed all was fine. I called again because there were buckets left in front of my house parts of my roof still hanging off the company had knocked over a tree in my yard they also left all the sandbags that were on top of my house all over the place. One part of the roof on the side wasn't put back on they told me that it had passed the inspection but they would have someone to go out and look at it Also when I got the initial proposal on the roof I was told that they would takeoff all of the gutters the gutters were never taken off of the home they were only taking off half Way the parts that are attached to the sides of the house are still there fast forward to a couple of weeks later I received a letter from Codered Roofers saying that it had actually went over $1800 in cost and that I needed to pay it I quickly called and spoke to Martin who informed me that I needed to pay at least $1000 that day or he would put a lien against my home I became very upset he told me that he would email me A corrective work order to pay for damages for the tree also we could try and set up a payment plan he said maybe he spoke too soon when telling me he was going to put a lien on my home. I wait over 2 1/2 weeks for Martin to send the information in the mail because I could not get it through email he never responded or return any messages finally I called and asked to speak to a general manager and Martin called me back one week later I received the letter in the mail I was in the hospital for one week after that and then I mailed off the first payment of $100 with the receipt from the lawn guy who had to remove the Tree. Now I receive a letter in the mail saying that they put a lien against my home for $1800 I am a single parent I can't afford to pay this All at once I feel it is extremely unprofessional they are there still people they will get you to get a new roof and seem very concerned until money is released after the money is really too mean nothing to them they are all about money I care nothing about people beware do your research and go somewhere else! And until this day I still have not received a call from the general manager. Contacting the Better Business Bureau update when my roof was first completed, I called them out because they forgot to put back on a part of my roof and I had lizards coming into my roof and it is starting to happen again it's lifting up and I can't get anyone from the office to return any of my calls it's to the point I am asking to speak to the owner and no one still will return any of your calls so buyer beware the owner doesn't care as wellthey don't uphold any of the contract. Therefore, there is no warranty on your roof. read more

if i could give them a zero i would. the worst roofing job imaginable they were hired to replace the roofs on 7 two story condo building flat roofs. the mess and garbage that was left was disgusting during a rain the water poured off the front and back onto the rear yards and front entrance ways like niagara falls. the roof drains and down spouts are on the sides of the buildings where no water was being drained. there is now damage to the pavers due to the extreme force of the water coming off the roofs. the company was notified and there answer was " it was done correctly. run when you hear there name is mentioned for a roof. photos and videos are available upon request read more

David, our project manager, kept us informed throughout the process... including letting us know that the straps we had originally requested in the contact were not necessary because we already had straps hidden under our insulation. There was a delay because of the torrential rains in May/June, but they got our water proofing up right before the rains, and we had no issues. Pricing and guaranty were very competitive. I hired Code Red Roofers to replace my 20+ year old shingle roof in North Palm Beach. I was told by both the salesman and project manager that it was an easy and straight forward job that could be completed within a week. It took a full month to complete the job. They failed 3 inspections. And today I came home to a leaky roof (in a place that previously did not leak). Although they have competitive pricing, it was not worth the poor quality of work, inconvenience, and distress it caused my family. The communication from my project manager was poor, no one has actually supervised the work of the shingle installer, and the effort to complete my project has been minimal. Their estimator spoke English. Their workers did not understand a word. Had two leaks to repair, a few ridge tiles to refasten and a couple of broken tiles to refasten. These people are thieves, they absolutely suck, they use the cheapest material and butchers not roofers. I have had to bring in other roofers to fix what these thieves have done to my home. If a guy named Otto Perez shows up you are going to get screwed, he took a deposit from me said he would get a receipt for me and went to his truck and took off. Two months later he called and said he could do the job "on the side" l asked for my money he denied me giving him any deposit. The first job they did leaked when I called the office with the invoice number their response was they are backed up and would get to me in a couple of weeks. Hiring Code Red Roofers to replace our roof has been one of the worst decisions we have made for our home and family. We had multiple failed inspections throughout the re-roof due to shingles not fastened correctly, not staggered correctly, etc. The job had to be attempted multiple times. Our home was a noisy construction site for an entire MONTH. At the end of it all, we have a new roof, along with a brand new leak in one of our bedrooms. Our HOA hired this company to replace and ultimately repair termite damage of 2 buildings. Our unit is on the top floor of a 2 story building. They stripped the roof and we believe knocked the roof stack over our unit. A few days later it rained and the water poured into our condo damaging our floors and the condo ceiling below us. We always shut off the condo water when gone for an extended period of time. David, the onsite manager asked us to document damage with pictures. We documented the damage with photos and had a plumber in to trace back the origin of the water leak. The written findings from the plumber along with the replacement costs of sink cabinet, dry wall replacement for mold and floor replacement was sent to the company. We got no where for compensation with this company after many weeks of emails and phone calls. They told us that the burden of proof was on us, which is true and we documented everything, submitted all to them and they refused to compensate us for our loss of $2500. They are unprofessional and their crew doesn't clean up thoroughly after the work is done. We've found many nails and trash left behind from the crew. read more

Beware!! the warning is in their name "red" flag!!! It took them almost a year to finish but in the end was a complete nightmare as i babysat this company for everything! the only workers here were "cheap laborers" and they broke trusses on the west end of our building not informing us and tried to "cover up". the soffit below that fell afterwards and they said as 1 of the dozens of lies/excuses that it was rotten wood. we got fixed on our dime, and no rotten wood whatsoever. its from the broken trusses above the soffit!! so we were left with a bent roof & slanted soffit. they refuse to take responsibility despite us having no damage in that area b4hand and no one else was up on our roof. i could fill a book with their mistakes but we are suing them. i wrote to bbb 1st to resolve and they shut their bbb account down after my complaint. that tells me all i need to know. they seem to have the same problem with others through the years. i call them "bozo roofers". i have never written a complaint against any company ever, but that's how bad they are. read more

This roofing company is unethical and unreliable. They put a new roof in our home and we're supposed to replace the skylight with a hurricane proof skylight. We have relentlessly followed up and attempted to get them to finish the job. They sent someone out to do the work about a month later and they brought the wrong size light. They said they would order a new one; that never happened! When we called back they had a ton of excuses and no answers. Finally 4 months later they were supposed to do the work while we were out of town this week. The work as expected was NOT done. Don't hire them!!!! You will regret it. The worst customer service I have ever ever had. Tries to screw you on price and will not return phone calls after numerous messages.

Here is my experience in chronological order: 1) Destroyed screens and denied that they were responsible 2) Conceded to screen repairs and sent their own screen technician to give them an estimate 3) Applied a credit to the bill for screen repairs, that their screen technician refused to repair 4) I had the screens repaired, which turned out to be 2X the amount that they credited 5) They flipped over my hose box to use it as a step stool and broke the handle off. 6) Several months later we discovered the dryer pipe was not reconnected, and they insist that it is the homeowners job. 7) Also discovered that they didn't process the warranty because the landlord, who used to own the home, did not pay them within 10 days. I would stay far away from this roofing company...deny,deny,deny They want me to pay to reconnect the dryer vent, and they want a payment to reinstate the warranty! read more

Re roof our house Our experience has been awful. We signed and paid a deposit in February 2018 for a roof we were told would be done end of May, 120 days. They never called or returned a call until early June. Tore the roof off late June and noting but lies since. First it was the tile crew is two weeks behind. Late July we were told August 16. On August 16 we were told late September. It is mid-October and no sign of any progress. Gutters have been off since late June most of landscaping around house has been destroyed by the rain off the roof. Our HOA is questioning why the roof has been off for four months. Nine months, four "project managers", one "operations manager" never the same person twice. Horrible service, very dishonest people. Stay Away from Code Red Roofers. read more

At this point I am giving them one start and that is only because the original crew that did the tear off was prompt and did a good job. BUT after that it was awful. A continuous fight to get a crew out to work. When a crew showed up they spent HOURS lounging in the yard on their phones or eating. Left trash and cigarette butts everywhere. STAY AWAY DO NOT HIRE !! Even after contacting the office nothing changed. Only thing that got some minor results was posting multiple photos on Facebook of the workers in my yard sleeping, or on the phone. Total lack of communication between job supervisor and office . Metal for my roof was double ordered and set to be delivered twice , that's what they blamed the hold up on starting the job. Office said they were waiting for the metal to be delivered even after job supervisor saw and knew metal was delivered 2 weeks prior The crew they had do my sofits tried to reuse old sofit board and just patched where the old vents used to be. I began my search for a roofer out of a need for immediate results as my homeowner's insurance company was liquidated with minimal notice. I had been watching my neighbors get their roofs done over the last 6 months and one company out of several stood out as quick and efficient - Code Red Roofers (CRR). I grabbed a card from Bronson in sales when out on my morning run and had the need to call him much sooner than I thought! After an easy to obtain estimate from Bronson, I looked at no less than five other roofing companies and opted to focus on metal roofing. I thought I could get this done much cheaper, but CRR even price-matched my lowest bidder. I went with Code Red and do not regret my decision. Here is why: They communicated with me on my terms (calls, text, email - whatever has been easiest for me), they communicated often - and helped me navigate a quite stressful situation. Bronson was not the guy that put the roof on my house, but he was there every step of the way. The guys who did the work were thoughtful, considerate, professional, and polite. Bronson handled every blip (was there even anything I could call a blip?) and really put forth the effort to ensure getting a new roof was easy and fast - the quality of the work is superb, and my house looks awesome! Code Red did repairs on our roof in Spring of 2019 at over $6000. In Late November, 2019 we had a leak into our bedroom right below the area they worked on. They came out looked at it and said they would get back to us....did not. We called them and spoke to multiple people who always referred us to someone else.
