Emler has a methodology that really works - it empowers my kid to want to show me what he learned vs me pushing to level him up. Big dynamic shift and as a mom who wants to be fun in the water with her kids, not a "teacher", this is really valuable when we're practicing. More importantly, they have been incredibly accommodating with us as we juggled timing issues etc and have bent over backwards to ensure both of my kids get the most out of each lesson. He loves the songs and props and always talks about swim class and reenacts it at home. Jaide has been a phenomenal teacher, pushing the students just enough to get them to improve each week. She also knows when to be more sensitive when they are experiencing fear and needed to go easy that day, ultimately building trust with them. We have also had makeups with Sami, Bella, and Isaiah and they are also phenomenal with the kids. Such a talented team at Emler - you can't go wrong! I dont care for this pool at all…read more First of all the HOA has a really hard time keeping up with this place, it is always getting vandalized and the HOA is always have to put more money into the place all the time, its not even worth it when more than half of your HOA budget goes a pool that is only open about 4 months out of the year. Complete waste of money. Also, there is almost no shade around this place. The one shaded area is always dirty and actually pretty far away from the pool. Since this is more of a family pool, I wish they had triple the shade. Its like a giant tank of water in the middle of a hot field. Each year I try the keycard they give us and it is always wrong, then it takes weeks to get back to the HOA to get you a new card so you can actually use the pool like you should. This has happened every year to me. Keycard system is great, when it works and the lifeguards really enforce the rules, so when the key does not work, they stare at you through the gate saying, too bad. And the lifeguards are rude. They probably have to with a lot of crap, but they have always been rude to me and I dont know why we cant hire people that live in Austin, for some reason we hire people from the czech or something as an exchange program. I dont know why because the language barrier is an issue sometimes.

I love it because it isn't as crazy busy as some of the other pools and it makes it easier to splash around and not worry about being on top of other people. The bathrooms are basic but clean.
