My Father worked in insurance / re-insurance all his life, and he'd know the good from the bad instantly when it came to his own policies. Until his passing, he was with Coe / State Farm- and I switched all my policies to Coe after his death. It was the best move I ever made. I had a disasterous situation a few years back, and State Farm made good on it. Naturally, if they're assisting you on a 23k loss - you have to understand your bills are gonna go up- but in all honesty it wasn't as bad as it could have been...and I'd want the company that was there for me to recoup their losses someday. Two years later, what began as a quick account review by Justin at Coe's office to see if State Farm could meet my USAA rates...became a meet and BEAT by far. Between the rate beat and an added incentive to bundle, I actually decided to up my coverages too(as it was 'found' $, that I didn't have before). To go from 50/100/50 to 250/500/250 was a smarter move now that I actually have things to lose- and I had been being cheap / under protected all along. We have been clients with Coe for many years. When we needed life insurance for my husband with a heart condition, he spent a lot of time with us trying to find a policy. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and when they don't have an answer they will find and get back to you quickly. Ilana took the time to make me aware of auto insurance plans I did not know about to help me save money. The office will check in with me from time to time. I do not have to remember to reach them. StateFarm with Coe Bancroft along with his associates, including Ilana and Nardone have been exceptional, professional, and truly a gem to work with as my insurance agent. Since 2002 or longer, I have been part of the State Farm team. Not only do I have for automobile insurance policies thanks to three children in their 20s, I have an umbrella policy and a homeowners policy. Deserves every star. I'm a young guy and hadn't bought insurance for anything before I met Coe. It wasn't because I didn't have anything to insure - I run a small business with a lot of tech involved and would be totally up the creek if any of it were broken or stolen - it was because it always just sounded complicated and expensive. Then, one day, a computer crashed during crunch time on a project. If the hard drive couldn't be rebuilt, I'd be faced with the very real issue of dropping three grand on a replacement and suddenly insurance seemed like a good idea. I ran into Coe shortly after, tentatively asked if he had any idea what coverage would cost and was impressed when he basically recited a handful of small business packages verbatim. He had me come down to his office, which I did hesitantly - I was just examining my options - but he and his staff were so welcoming, knowledgable, and friendly that after about fifteen minutes of conversation I decided to get the coverage on the spot. Not only was the price too good to pass up, but I felt like I knew the plan inside and out and could tell that if there was ever an issue I'd have a real partner in getting it resolved. I filled in a few key pieces of information, Coe handled the rest, and just like that my business assets were protected come hell or high water (and we live near a river so I was particularly worried about the high water thing). Now, I'm not a big customer for Coe, my policy is just twenty-someodd dollars a month. But for anyone who doubts his devotion to his clients you should know that when I call I'm treated spectacularly. A few months after my coverage started, I asked him if there was a way to eliminate the paper statements I was getting each month. He pondered for a moment - this was clearly something he wasn't usually asked - then said "Sure thing, I'll handle it." I'm not sure if he did something fancy on his end, or simply sneaks up to check my mailbox each day and intercept the monthly statement, but I haven't gotten one since then. I've been a customer since 2009. Coe's office is highly responsive and courteous. Rates are very competitive.

AVOID at all costs. I cannot stress enough how horrible the customer service I have received has been. I've been with State Farm for years as a customer and never again will I waste my time with them. Two incredibly infuriating issues with their billing system and getting ahold of anyone who has any semblance of competence. Do yourself a favor and find a different company. Coe Bancroft's office has been particularly inept in how they have('nt) handled the issue I had. 5 Stars + Our family recently switched our personal insurance needs to State Farm Ins through Coe Bancroft's office. The rates are great and we ended up saving quite a bit of money. More important to me, however, is the Customer Service that we experienced. There was a minor snafu that complicated starting our life insurance policy - it was no fault of Coe's office, however, the amount of care and concern from Coe and the people in the office to get our problem resolved was above and beyond exceptional.
