Until his passing, he was with Coe / State Farm- and I switched all my policies to Coe after his death. It was the best move I ever made. I had a disasterous situation a few years back, and State Farm made good on it. Naturally, if they're assisting you on a 23k loss - you have to understand your bills are gonna go up- but in all honesty it wasn't as bad as it could have been...and I'd want the company that was there for me to recoup their losses someday. Two years later, what began as a quick account review by Justin at Coe's office to see if State Farm could meet my USAA rates...became a meet and BEAT by far. Between the rate beat and an added incentive to bundle, I actually decided to up my coverages too(as it was 'found' $, that I didn't have before). To go from 50/100/50 to 250/500/250 was a smarter move now that I actually have things to lose- and I had been being cheap / under protected all along. Was only a small amount of $ to boost those coverages big time, and behind it all - I know it's a company that is gonna do me right because they've done it before. A+ across the board.

I rarely give 5-star review but I feel Coastal Insurance and their team deserve this recognition…read more Recently I purchased a house and my mortgage broker pushed me to use their insurance company for obvious reason. While the pricing is great, I wanted to compare both the rate and the coverage. I emailed 5 different insurance companies and 4 of them immediately said "we'll get you the same policy for the same money" but only ONE came back to me and said you are not being covered properly and there's conflicting info in the underwriting language. That firm was none other than Coastal Insurance (see attached email). While their policy came back to be $200 more, but their policy also offers substantially more coverage. I would've rather pay the extra money than to leave myself exposed to a potential loss and claim denial b/c I didn't read the fine print. In a society where speed and cheap trumps service and common sense, it's refreshing to see a company that is thorough and didn't "sell me on price and price alone." Just an FYI, they also have an affiliate that provide tax grievance service and have saved me thousands of dollars with my commercial and residential properties.

She appeared very annoyed that I bothered her (it was Sunday) and told me to call claims. She did not even offer their number or any help. I never heard from her again. Trying to get the claim processed was horrible. I should have read the reviews for Liberty Mutual. If I did I never would have transferred all my insurance to them. Unfortunately, after waiting over another hour n no show, i attempted to call the tow company multiple times to get an answering machine. I then attempted to call the insurance, and it was a back n forth, and they were going to follow up, but time kept ticking n no tow truck. I finally had to call 911 n have them send their highway tow truck, pay out of pocket and tomorrow follow up to pick up and have towed again to dealer or see if they could repair at their shop. I sat in my car w open window, unable to close it because the car was completely dead. I had to put a table cloth over the window to help keep wind out until I texted my supervisor to pick me up. It has been one frustrating afternoon and unacceptable client service and possibly endangering my well-being. This has led me to cancel my policy and would never deal with liberty Mutual ever again.
