My only advice to you is to stay clear of this shop. I went by there reviews thinking they were above board. Sadly I was very wrong. I took my 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt in for an estimate because my coolant was running into the 208 temperatures. They had my car for about 3 hours when I received an estimate by text. Diagnose Engine Overheating: This is what the paper said Engine overheating found radiator and lower radiator hose to be leaking Thermostat due to over heating. Note: If engine was over heated may have additional issues in the future. Recommend: Replace radiator replace both radiator hoses, thermostat and gasket. All for the low price of $1,111.69. So, I bought a brand new radiator, thermostat, gasket and the new hoses. My husband installed everything and guess what. Upon further inspection there was no leaking and you guessed it, it was still running up into the 210. Upon further research my husband discovered that for this make and model it is perfectly normal to run hotter than other cars. Normal temperature for this car is between 185 - 220. This is the true fact about my car: the normal operating of the engine should be between about 185 to 220. The cooling fan wont kick on until, 223 degrees for low speed fan operation. your temp reading that you are getting is well within its operating range. So, I spent $259.00 that I didn't have to spend to later find out they bold face lied to me and then wanted to charge me an outrageous price to fix what wasn't broken. BEWARE BEWARE read more

We are from New Hampshire (my uncle and me) went to a quick oil change place that I won't name and was told they couldn't do it because the plug was cross threaded and it would of cost us $63.99 plus tax for just the oil change, took it to CDA Auto Care they noticed we were far from home, 1 hour later the van was fixed and was still $20 less than the quick oil change place. WARNING: Do not go to Coeur D Alene Auto Repair. They do faulty work that they will not fix and then try to hide behind their worthless extended warranty. Here is what happened when they failed to put a cotter pin on the right tie rod of my truck. This caused nut to come off and loss of steering that could have cost Nancy and me our lives. I had taken truck bad to Cdl Auto twice to have them recheck their work before we lost our steering and they failed to find and fix problem. Josh is a complete jerk and idiot. My 2003 GMC HD2500 Duramax had 125807 miles. I returned the truck a few days later asking the owner Josh to recheck all work as I found the air cleaner cover loose. He stated everything was OK. Again on 11-2-16 I returned truck to Josh as left front tire was severely cupping after only 2200 more miles after complete front end steering repair. He again stated everything was fine with his work. However, on 11-10-16 the right tie rod came loose due to nut coming off end because no cotter pin was installed. My wife and I could have died due to no steering and going off a steep bank. Luckily, I was going slow on a curve and stopped truck before going over bank. We were on remote county road on the St Joe River, ID, no phone or cell service in the dark at 9:15 PM. I finally got Benewah Motors to tow truck back to GMC dealer, Robideau Motors in Coeur D Alene, ID on Saturday 11-12-16 for $425.00. Since Coeur D Alene Auto would not fix negligent work two times previous, I did not return truck to them. In fact, Josh said he would see me in court and slammed his office door behind me the week before tie rod came loose. Please refund payments to repair Cdl Auto's negligent work as follows: 1. Benewah Motors towing $425.00 2. Robideau Motors right tie rod repair $414.12 3. Perfection Tire alignment & replace collapsed shocks $144.95 labor. 4. New front shocks $89.40 5. Replace ruined front tires Estimate $450.00 6. Seven days without truck, pain and suffering $200/day = $1400 Estimated Total Refund Due $2923.47 Thank you for helping pay for this life threatening and traumatic experience. I felt so impressed to share my experience. I left Moscow early this morning heading to Bonner's Ferry to see my mom and my car started acting up, I immediately got worried because I was traveling alone. I looked around and the closest shop I saw was a Les Schwabb and knowing they couldn't assist, I figured one of the guys in the shop could direct me to a dealership or auto shop. Well the guy who works there wasn't much help but a gentleman in the parking lot assisted me and told me to go see Josh at Coeur d' Alene Auto Care. So I drove straight over there and of course the parking lot was completely full. I didn't know what to do and had no choice but to go in and explain my situation. The gentleman at the counter explained to me that they were 3 days out but told me to hold on and walked into the shop, he was back in only a few minuets and said, "Not to worry, we will take a look at your car." I was so relieved trying to hold back the tears as I gave him my info. He suggested that I go to a restaurant just down a few blocks; so I did. I wasn't there long when I got a call and said, my car was ready. I was so relieved to find out that it was only a fuse blown for 3 injectors and that it was easily repair.
