Was greeted by a young lady named Halina who took my order of ice coffee extra extra light and a sesame bagel toasted with butter. My ice coffee was exceptional and my bagel toasted to perfection. I also met Joey the manager who was very friendly. The place was immaculate and well staffed with friendly people. I was so pleased to see a group of young workers in the shop who were all friendly and working as a team. I WAS a customer of a bagel place on Mineral Spring but no longer. I will drive out of my way to be a customer of Coffee Connection as it is well worth the drive! Thank you to the owner for hiring such a great team. Usually I go to a different location and I should have today because this location was terrible. I placed my order online and showed up 20 minutes later. Just a bagel and a coffee. When I got there it wasn't ready. It's lunch time and there were two people working and one person on break at a table. One of the workers whistled loudly at the worker on break to come back and they came in the kitchen still eating, wiped their face with their hands, and started working. Could have easily took the extra 3 minutes to wash their hands. The other two workers were dragging their feet and super confused. One of them kept stopping to look at his Apple Watch and sneezed twice all over the bagels not even attempting to cover his mouth or wash his hands. So gross. So, first of all, I arrived after dropping my car off for new tires at a shop nearby. This coffee shop is not in my area, so I'm unlikely to return. But during my hour plus sitting in the shop, I had an ok cup of coffee and a bagel with cream cheese that I waited 15 minutes for after it had mistakenly been placed on the "to go" shelf. And even then I had to return it as it hadn't been toasted as ordered. But this was a sideshow compared to the violent incident I witnessed between a crazy large guy in a pickup truck who had parked sideways across three spaces in the shops very limited lot. When the shop owner yelled at the bad Parker, said Parker confronted him and slugged him in the face. Thankfully it ended there, but wow. Take it easy guys! read more

A girl took my order at the drive through and got it wrong so I corrected it, got my order and it was still wrong. It also took about 10 minutes waiting at the window to get my order, with no other cars in the drive through, but the three workers standing inside chatting. I come here for my flavored coffee, but especially for their bagel sandwiches! They have one of the BEST bagel sandwiches around. My favorite is the egg and cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. What makes it great is that it's packed with TWO eggs and cheese. It's almost too big for one person and so I usually share it with my husband. They have flavored brewed coffee, but also loads of flavor syrups and sauces to add to your coffee. It's the little things I love about how they make my coffee--when it's iced, they pour the coffee back and forth to properly mix the flavors. When it's hot coffee--I love how they steam it to ensure that it's piping hot. If i bring my 40oz Stanley they fill it for the price of a small/medium! I would've honored the drink to be Vanilla ice coffee. Instead I get Shitnilla iced coffee instead. The taste was nothing but waste of time today. Went through the drive thru and the girl working was super nice, prices weren't bad and the variety of flavors all sounded good. Ended up ordering an iced chocolate peanut butter and kind of expected an explosion of flavor or some flavor of some sort but it was bland. It wasn't horrible I've had worse coffee but I had higher hopes. Veryyyy faint chocolate taste no PB at all. The coffee itself seemed to me like gas station grade.. Which some people love. For some reason depending on the day the prices are always variable. I ordered a bagel with peanut butter and jelly and one day it was around $3 and the next it was about $5. I understand their prices went up but for the same items the prices should be the same from day to day.. The girl in the drive thru was pretty rude about the whole thing. We've visited this cute spot a few times, when we've needed a break from navigating the never ending traffic light-to-traffic-light stop and go parking lot that Mineral Spring Avenue has become famous for. The menu is large for a "coffee place" and in addition to hot and iced coffee they serve up tea, blended drinks, smoothies, protein shakes, chai, bagels and bakery items plus wraps, salads, sides. While I was there, several people ordered the Acai bowls, which is a container of fresh fruits and whole grains meant to be a "power" breakfast or lunch. This looked way tastier than the printed out description, and I think it may be worth checking out next time we visit. Today we picked up bagels for the kids (their favorite) which is served up with a generous portion of butter or cream cheese. I ordered an iced chai and a Mediterranean salad to go. I was told that the hummus was house made and "really good" and I thought to myself "well, I'll be the judge of that!" (I consider myself an accomplished Middle Eastern cook) and much to my delight, the hummus - WAS really good! They have a drive through that makes it very convenient, but if you decide to go inside, you'll find a cozy and inviting place to sit and enjoy your food or drinks. I love the breakfast sandwiches but unfortunately I've experienced multiple order cancellations through Uber Eats lately. Please be more consistent with marking yourself as unavailable as Uber Eats if you do not intend to process orders through there. It's one thing when the order is cancelled near immediately - but even still, today the order was not cancelled for 10-15 minutes, when theoretically it would have already been on it's way to me already. The store ends up being marked as unavailable only after these types of issues have come up; yet still available on DoorDash (get that it's your decision to make as the business but a bit confusing/frustrating from the customer POV). For two years this was my go to for coffee. Service is on the slower side, but I didn't mind since it was always good coffee and the staff was super friendly. Lately, it's been hit or miss, more often than not, it's a miss. Service is slow still despite there being 7-8 staff behind the counter. Three out of every four orders, there is something wrong. My coffee is made with cream instead of milk, they forget the sugar, or it just tastes off... The price for two coffees seems to vary based on the day. Some days it's $7.39, yesterday it was $7.70ish. This weekend alone I spent $25 on 4 coffees and 2 muffins... I was pleasantly surprised to come upon Coffee Connection! As a pescatarian, I was delighted by all the food & drink options! I honestly considered swinging by later for lunch lol! I love this place because they have a huge variety of options. Regular coffee isn't the strongest (I'll get dark roast next time) but it does the job. Acai bowls are very filling and VERY fresh!!! I think they are around $10, but well worth it. Keep in mind you cannot order the bowls in the drive thru, you have to go inside... not sure why. Also love that they have gluten free bagels and wraps! And it's only an extra 99 cents. I really appreciate that due to my dietary needs as many places charge $2+ for gluten free bread. The coffee is amazing. Jay and Cassie were the employees. They were so friendly and helpful. It was a great feeling, that is an example of good customer service. It really made my morning!!! Modified a chicken wrap.. then was charged additional for chicken. Simply wanted grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese then added cucumber & avocado. Came to $14.71! Which I wouldn't mind if it was good or worth it. Charged $2.25 for cucumber Charged $2.25 for avocado Charged $2.99 for chicken And .99 cents for cheese. As you can see in the picture I got a smear of BROWN avocado a few dices of cucumber and a slice of cheese. Chicken and lettuce was fine. But yikes what a RIPOFF. I gave this place a 2nd chance on food after getting a horrible willow tree wrap.. it was a mess, so I figured the girl was new. From driving around the area I see it's a franchise so a nice alternative to Dunkin' for sure. We went to the drive-thru and it was a fast moving line which was great. They have a ton of iced coffees to pick from. We ended up ordering two because we couldn't decide. Went with pistachio and nutella. The pistachio was hands down the best pistachio coffee I've ever had. I would like ten more of those, please! So good! The nutella was okay but not as tasty and didn't really taste like nutella to me. I got the chocolate nutty part but just not as good as the pistachio. I would drink it again though so not too bad. I went back-and-forth before deciding to post this review, and only doing so because I've witnessed unprofessional behavior on multiple visits, and as a Yelp Elite I do not want to promote toxic or abusive environments. My coffee has always been just fine, facility is always clean... It's really something I witnessed my last visit (Tuesday early afternoon) that made me not want to return. As a paying CUSTOMER I witnessed a particular employee on a few occasions being rude-- I always chalked it up to "must be a bad day" or assuming the subject of mistreatment must have done something to deserve it. But that changed on Tuesday when I actually saw an employee being bullied and threatened with physical violence. Like, demanding they go outside to fight-- Now, I don't know what this young girl did, but it doesn't matter. No employee should have to cry at work. I came in for a cup of coffee, not a front row ticket to an MMA cage match over who's doing dishes. I am not sure if the employees realized or cared there were customers in the store who could hear everything, or if this woman was the owners relative or a manager who just didn't care about the business (I'll call her crater face long lash), I left the store bothered and called hoping to speak with the owner in regards to what I witnessed---only to be hung up on. I've been coming here for yeaaarrrrsss. The reason I keep coming back is because of their delicious Everything bagels with egg and cheese. What do I love about this sandwich? Well, they put two slices of eggs and two slices of cheese, YUM! However, things have changed :(..... The past month or so they have switched their egg recipe to a folded egg concoction. This new egg could be due to supply changes or maybe even budget cuts. This egg change is SO significantly different and bland tasting that I think I will stop coming.
