Not only does this place have good drink selections, they also have really good fudge. They make it in house and have a few different flavors. I recently tried the pumpkin fudge and it was delicious!

Eh, lukewarm at best. Service was polite but not welcoming. We visited to redeem a gift card, and put it off for quite some time. However, today was the day we had time to stop by and shop. Selection was somewhat limited and pricey. Instead of lingering around to shop, and I love to shop, I felt a need to leave, and leave quickly. What we did purchase, we had to carry out ourselves without a bag. Nothing more to say.

Mr. Magorium didn't actually die at the end of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, he just packed up, moved to El Paso for retirement and opened The Coffee Emporium (you cannot convince me otherwise). Sure, he toned down the magic (I assure you, your chocolate will not get up and walk away if it finds your character a bit somber), but the wonder is still there. Anything slightly relatable to coffee is at TCE. Coffee. Tea. Chocolates. Jelly Beans. Birthday Cards. Trinkets. Doodads. On paper the relation doesn't make sense, but inside TCE it makes complete and total sense. The coffee. The cappuccino. The hot chocolate. You just can't go wrong. If it's supposed to have a strong coffee taste it will. There's also the coffee of the day, that is brewed and ready for the taking towards the back. The lattes don't come with latte art, but it's simplicity and focus on good coffee is, much like TCE as a whole, charming.

What a cool coffee shop! Its more than coffee.. its chocolates, fudge, seasonings for oils, flavored oils, baking goods, finger food items, el paso souvenirs, jewelry, accessories... its endless! I could spend hours hanging out here or just looking at everything they offer! All while enjoying my double shot latte and fudge! Lol I think my only gripe is how the latte tasted. The coffee flavor to it just wasnt as smooth as i like it to be so i was slightly disappointed in that aspect. I still enjoyed finishing it though. And the fudge i got was regular milk chocolate flavored i believe and it was delish! I guess i got too excited when i was hoping for other flavors like pb and chocolate or cookies and cream. Today, they offered the milk choc or added pecans or walnuts basically. Not a fan of whole nuts in my fudge. Their milk choc fudge is delicious tho! Overall, great lil spot to grab some sweets or a coffee. I think I'll try their el paso latte since that has cinnamon in it and could balance out the coffee bitterness more! Cant wait to visit again

    Cinnamon bun frappe...amazing!

This shop is awesome! Don't get me wrong, I love Starbucks but...I wanted to try something different and local. It took me about 20 minutes to order! I couldn't decide right away because their coffee selection is huge! I finally went with a cinnamon bun frappe. The flavor was amazing! The cinnamon, coffee and whipped cream blended well together. I also got a brownie. It was very sweet but good. It had chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles. The prices are reasonable if you're comparing it to a chain coffee shop or restaurant. Coffee Emporium also has a wide selection of chocolates, candy and other gifts. I was going to get a chocolate but decided to do it another time. The staff was very nice and helpful. A+ experience. I will be back to this El Paso gem soon.

It really is such a gem tucked away in the city in a very humble and simple outdoor shopping center, but certainly worth stopping by :) ! I had Googled the best souvenir shops close to my hotel and "So El Paso" popped up on my search ! I am so glad I stopped by here because they truly have some of the most thoughtful and meaningful gifts you can give anyone, whether you are a local to the area :) ! Or whether you're like me - a tourist who wants to bring back something thoughtful and meaningful to family and friends back home in CA :) ! I specifically wanted quality souvenirs that are really unique to the area or region :D ! I met the owner and also one of her employees :) ! Both of them were really friendly and warm ! The owner told me that she is originally from El Paso, but had lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for about 20 years before coming back to El Paso :) ! If I had heard correctly, I believe her employee told me that this store has been open since 2020. I purchased some Mexican candied cocoa pecans, some churro cookies, and some margarita powder mixes :D ! I purchased some Mexican spice cocoa pecans, some churro cookies, and some margarita powder mixes :D ! So far, I have only tasted the Mexican spice cocoa pecans, which are delicious :) ! I haven't tried the churro cookies and the margarita mixes yet :) ! But I plan to gift some of these to family and friends :) ! They also have nice holiday gift sets that are beautifully wrapped and ready to gift :D ! When I was shopping there yesterday, there was a customer there who seemed to be ordering in bulk for a group of people :) ! She was carefully choosing items to purchase as she was conversing with the owner :) ! So for sure, these are wonderful items you can gift to individuals or huge groups :D ! I wll definitely be back the next time I visit the west side in El Paso :) ! The owner and her employee really go the extra mile to take care of you and your needs :D !

I came to get a going away gift for her co-worker. My mom specifically wanted a trivet. A trivet is used under a hot plate while serving food. It prevents the table from getting any damage due to the heat from the hot plate. This trivet is made out of ceramic or porcelain. I didn't even know what it really was until I looked it up. Lol. I did but I didn't know that was the proper name for it. My mom requested a specific trivet. This one has a photo of the star on the mountain here in El Paso. People say whenever you see the star on the mountain, you know you're home :) I have to agree with that. There is no place like home or El Paso. It's a very unique place. Anyway... This market sells items like homemade soaps, chapstick, home decor, art and more. The trivet was $18 plus tax. Proceeds go toward the 8-3 shooting victims. A local photographer sells these items, along with more of her art and photography. I wouldn't mind having a meal at the bistro sometime. The staff from the bistro were very nice and polite. The customer service at the market place could've been a little bit better. The two women there were helpful but not entirely friendly. Overall an ok transaction.

There's two kinds of people in the world, the squeamish and the one's pretending not to be squeamish (because come on, we are all afraid of something). I find myself in the openly squeamish group. But I still rather enjoy DT and the occasional goosebumps it gives me. I've been a few times now and I always find myself drawn to the preserved animals. From talking to the owner I know that these animals were not harmed or purposefully endangered in any way, DT just creates art, if you will, from natural death. They do give me the creeps and the worn dolls that adorn the bureau give it that added element of stomach, turning fear (thank you Child's Play and Tales From The Hood). There are also less creepy, but equally intriguing items at DT like shirts with EP inspired themes, purses, handmade jewelry (I picked up a sweet heart with nails and barbed wire necklace last time I was here), cat trinkets, and paintings. Explore and see what cool items you find. Along with the lively owner, you can seek help from her wonderful minions or the guy in the back that isn't very helpful and a bit of a snake. I prefer the minions who will hand you things and make you deeply consider adding it to your home decorations. I'd say the minion's are very animated even though their vocabulary is only that of a three or four year old, but they drive a hard sell and will help you look for anything. Not sure how many days of the week the minions work, but the snake is there all the time so you may just have to deal with him.
