This location was a total disappointment. If there was an option for 0 stars, I would select that…read more First of all, this location doesn't have a coffee menu that the downtown location has nor the new sweet toast they posted on their Instagram. This location is also a bit small so not really suitable for big groups. We came on a Friday for lunch and there's only 1 kiosk so it takes a while for big groups to order and I don't think they have a person starting another order if it gets too busy. They were out of a couple of the drinks for the kids menu, which was okay because there were 2 other options. Not once did the staff interact with us or say hello to us. The wait time for the food was ok but the server basically ran and threw the food at our table without ever saying anything to us. I ordered a pork katsu sandwich and the pork was VERY dry. I also ordered it normal but when she threw it on the table, she mumbled something "it's not spicy" and but there was clearly some red powder on it and looked like my friend's sandwich that she ordered spicy. We went up to ask the girl and she said they accidentally put the powder on but it's not spicy and that was it. She didn't apologize or offer to exchange it. I think it's unacceptable behavior and I was in disbelief. They were also out of ketchup and we had a whole table of French fries with the kids meals... I have been to the other location a few times and the food and service was good as far as I can remember, but this location is horrible. I will never come back again and will tell all my friends and family about my experience. 2/9- I emailed the business owner like he requested but never got a reply. Don't need to tell me to reach out if you don't care to email back. Thanks.

Thought I wouldn't like the slaw because I usually hate coleslaw but it was unlike any American slaw I've ever had. So delicious and unique tasting, and paired with the crunchy katsu was just delicious. The fries could use some more crunch but the sandwich makes up for it.

You can get items out of the market space to include drinks in food items to take home. I tried, salad, and meat pizza-all were fabulous and well flavored. Had a sandwich to go, probably would have been better in the restaurant, the bread was kind of difficult to eat later. Would return. Good food. Good prices. Parking can be tight.

I've heard constant praise of this spot so we came for lunch yesterday…read more The pizza is yummy. You can get a slice/individual size/family size. I went with a full size of Caesar salad, slice of pep and a Diet Coke and my partner got two slices of pep. I completely understand it was a very busy day for them (from the waitress's response to customers), but the wait was a bit unbearable. I got my Caesar salad relatively quickly but finished it with no pizza in sight. The Caesar salad was medium. We hoped because we got slices, that it would be fairly quick. We even asked the waitress how long a customized whole pizza would take and she said approx 30 mins. It took 30 mins to get our slices of pepperoni pizza... Now I understand the pep could have been out but a warning to say "hey it's busier than usual, our slices will also take a while to come out" would be nice. Others had their order taken before us despite arriving a few mins before them. It was chaotic. Almost all tables were full, so I get it. But I just wish there could have been communication. After 30 mins, I finally got up and asked her at the register, "any ETA on the Diet Coke and slices of pizza" to which she finally got me my drink and the slices of pizza followed. I'm not thrilled about waiting on something as simple as a canned soda. Would I visit again for a sit-down lunch? Maybe if I had extra time. Pizza is good and I don't think her service was poor. Just a little more communication would have been appreciated.

FOR A PLACE BUILT AROUND BURGERS/DOGS THIS WAS JUST SAD…read more Maybe try a hot dog or something. I don't know, but my burger was a monumental dud. It was served on an egg white coated brioche bun which gave it a somewhat leathery texture on the outside, soft on the inside. It came with a pickle slice, one tomato slice, a lettuce leaf, a slice of cheddar cheese, a tiny dollop of mayonnaise (you must ask for a side of ketchup and/or mustard), and the single most boring tasting burger I have had since the little league game I went to last summer. No juice. No flavor. The patty was not hot and tasted as if it were sitting in a warmer for 30 minutes before we came in. The burger came with fries (which we all agreed were the best part of our meals) and it cost $16. NO MILKSHAKES OFFERED, which given the theme of the restaurant is just a horrible oversight. I cannot imagine this place lasting long. So forgettable most people will likely only come here once out of curiosity, then go back to their favorite greasy, oozy, flavor-packed cheeseburger spot for a real burger.
