The menu was so big and everything sounded delicious so I did the American thing and got a burger. It was absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed the different bread for the bun! It was super juicy and moist and flavorful. Didn't love the tiramisu but that's alright, the chips on the side of my burger were good instead, super smokey instead of salty which was new!

It's hard to imagine how a place can get such high reviews until you try it and then it all makes sense. Stopped by recently and immediately knew it would be a favorite of ours. Pastrami sandwich is one of the best sandwiches in all of Portland, definitely one of my favorite meals in town. We've also had the tri-tip and the prime rib, both were amazing too but the tri-tip had a nice bright flavor with the delicious aioli and peppers. Everything is always fresh and house made, all of it super flavorful. Beef empanadas are incredible with a fresh chimichurri. On top of all that, they're always super nice with great service. Can't recommend enough!

Great Experience! Tony owner/manager/front of the house and team took care of business Clean, nice space Empanadas were good.. I would've preferred a little more flaky.. the beef was the best.. dipping sauces were a red sauce and an olive oil base Soup sample was perfect.. nice broth with cauliflower that tasted as if you were fine dining Baklava Ice Cream was outstanding.. perfect portion, flaky Baklava with creamy vanilla ice cream Will be back to try their sandwiches and burgers.. they look incredible

This is the 2nd time we've eaten at Empanada Stop. The food is fantastic! The 1st time we were given a sample of the house soup (cauliflower & cashew) and also the baklava. After that sample, I knew I would order it this time. It is so creamy & smooth, and tastes like a light cheese soup. So yummy on a cold PNW day. The beef empanadas are so good, lightly seasoned and not at all greasy. The chimichurri sauce adds a little herby spicy kick to it. They now have a butternut squash soup which we tried. Also smooth & creamy and mildly spiced. The owner is very warm and friendly. Service is very fast and the dining area is bright and clean. Restroom is clean as well. We enjoyed all the food and will definitely be back!

First time in. Super clean. Order at counter. Host very friendly and helpful Pastrami sandwich. Homemade bread, delish. Good pastrami. Plenty of sauerkraut. Because the bread is so fluffy, could use more thousand island, maybe. Comes with homemade barbecue chips. Good Smash burger. Again, homemade bun. Well cooked burger. Very tasty. Chips also. Host brought a small serving of pistachio baklava with ice cream. Yum. Like most other reviewers, no complaints

Freshest and most flavorful pastrami sandwich I've ever eaten! Enjoyed the taste test of Creamy Cauliflower soup, regretting not getting a bowl! I will be back for more. The surprise pistachio treat and vanilla ice cream was a grand finale to the meal. Tony was phenomenal, best customer care I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. Thank you

Chicken sandwich was decent but empanadas are definitely a pass here. I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. Much better food options in the nearby food halls / food truck parks.

I really enjoyed the Macro Bowl, it was delicious and very saucy! The staff was very nice and welcoming. Inside is a little gray and lacking decor but still inviting :)

We've been meaning to come here for a while. Because the place looks intriguing and well organized. We finally made it in and it's as clean and organized on the inside as it is on the outside. Everything we sampled was delicious including the baklava. Customer service was excellent, friendly, and helpful and explained everything to us in detail. There is enough seating that you shouldn't have an issue finding a seat, and plenty of parking outside. There are so many items on the menu that look delicious, that I will be back multiple times to try everything.

Heard the hype about this place on our local Nextdoor app. Wow were they right! Place is excellent. Their empanada plate with the Caesar salad with chicken tinga empanadas was great. Finish with their homemade baklava and you will be leaving happy. So much more to try. Nice to have a great place to go when hungry.

Quite a few of my friends and colleagues recommended stopping by here. They offer so many great vegan options. The food is VERY fresh tasting and well made. Everything I tried was incredible! The owner Tony is a very pleasant person who made sure to speak with and great all of his customers. The location itself Is very clean and you can tell they care about it the way it looks. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by! You'll be happy you did! Headed there now for my second time already! This place is EXACTLY what Gresham needed :-)

The food was delicious! Everything tastes so fresh. The empanada and the burger were my absolute favorite. Definitely going back to the other empanadas. The service was great. Not sure if it was the owner but he was extremely nice and helpful with the menu.

This time we got marinated rhubarb, which is in season, and which I'm excited to make and put in my own spring salads at home. Also, edible flowers, and while we ate lunch, we saw a worker picking them from the little garden. The sandwich was a shrimp roll, which was great, maybe with homemade bread? It was perfect. The sandwich was zesty, with a remoulade and little pickled jalapeños. And what were those crunchy things on top? Crushed barbecue potato chips! A delightful detail most restaurants wouldn't bother with. And the soft serve sundaes, which are also full of artistry and interesting textures! You have to get one. I got the Pendleton burger, it was as good as I remember, I got tons of fries along with it which was great. It was around 16 dollars, but it's a 2 dollar up charge for fries......yes, they charge you extra for fries....at a burger place...they default to potato chips (cheaper for them). I don't care what your "reasoning" is, charging extra for fries at a burger place is pathetic. In terms of service, can't comment too much since I got takeout, but the women there seemed nice and the place was fairly clean, I couldn't make out any dirty areas. They have a few tables outside, on a nice summer day it would be a nice place for lunch. Parking. There's no real parking for this areas since it's in busy street, so you'll have to park a block or two away most of the time, but it's not a big deal. Overall it's a good place and if I happen to find myself in the area, wanting a burger, I don't see why I wouldn't go there again.

Walking into the Soda Shop, it feels like a kid's daydream. There was candy and souvenirs everywhere, a big ice cream counter, and, of course, the soda shop. I noticed that they also sell food here-- it smelled amazing and I would definitely give it a try if I came again. Ordering was easy, and the young man behind the counter was really helpful-- I had never been to a soda hop before, so I had some questions about the options. He did not make me feel silly for having questions, and he did a good job of both training his coworker and being attentive to the line at the same time. I ordered a sugar free salted caramel soda (there were so many sugar free options!!!) It was delightful. I was a little apprehensive that it would actually taste like the flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised. The price point is higher than you would pay for a normal soda, but I think that the novelty of the experience is worth it.
