I have been frequenting this place for nearly 3 years and have tried food from almost every food cart they have (and some that has since left). I have tried many carts multiple times and some only once. Below is my ranking of the carts based on their best item I have tried: 1. What a shocker when we came for lunch today with the intention of whatever we had left over we would take for dinner later. I ordered my favorite Beef Chow Fun and was told about the new policy. If you plan on eating there, you have to eat on certain plates that are considered "dine in" and if you order to go and they "catch" you eating it there, then the food cart will be penalized. What the heck?! We can NEVER eat a full portion and 2 of us eat from different carts. To punish your carts is disgraceful! What is your goal here ? We will NOT be back, so my apologies to our favorite carts . You can look to your "landlords" to the decrease in your revenue. . Disgusted! read more

Although I prefer the Hawthorne Asylum food cart pod in Portland proper for its hardscrabble aesthetic, it's hard to go wrong with Troutdale Station if you're out in the Gorge area. 20 carts means there's options for everyone, and a covered hall with communal tables and a bar inside to fill your cup only adds to the experience (the only bummer - they don't give out tasters. Boo.). Carts range from Korean to Japanese to BBQ to burgers; I got a hefty bento from the Hibachi cart and it was excellent; servers all around are friendly to a fault. There are standard bathrooms that are decent enough (no Porto potties) and a parking lot that fills up pretty quick, and not many other parking options. Wholeheartedly recommend. read more

Came here for breakfast after an early flight from SMF to PDX and while we were driving on our way to Multnomah Falls. Parking on a Saturday at 8:00 was a cinch. We were the first ones in. The only place open was our intended target, Le Petit Cafe. For the next 15 minutes, we had the whole foodcourt to ourselves having the option of either eating at the comfortable sofas or the communal tables. I can imagine how busy this food market gets once the stalls and carts are open. Okay okay, now I have REALLY died and gone to foodie heaven. A permanent food cart mall... what even is Oregon? So this is a huge covered Pavillion filled with tables and chairs. The entire back wall of the pavilion is a full service bar with what looks like a hundred taps. Adjacent to this is a sweet shop that sells snacks, sweets, and drinks. Surrounding the Pavillion is every kind of food cart I could possibly think of. Off the top of my head, there was Thai, Korean fusion, Chinese, Indian, Philly Cheese Steaks, Boba, Vietnamese, a few American places... I ended up ordering mango Lassi from an Indian cart, and a k-dog from the Korean fusion cart. Both were pretty good. Even though most of these food carts were on the higher priced side, it was cool to see so many options in one place. Parking (free only while you're eating) looked difficult but turned out to be easy since people are pretty much always coming and going. read more

Amazing amount of decisions to make over food. Cheese danish was incredible at LaPetite Cafe. The place was something to behold as there were over 20 food carts outside, then several vendors inside. Pretty much anything you ever want to eat. The venue didn't seem busy, but, LaPetite was busily cooking all kinds of things. The food was excellent and deserved 5 star's. Spent over $100 with 3 different trucks. The facility and food trucks were open until 8pm. My son and i was pretty much done eating by 8. My nephew received his burger at 7:55pm. To the blonde young jerk that walked up to our table and informed us that we are now closed and i have to ask you to leave. Get a clue on customer service . You get a big zero and placed a bad taste on this establishment that we used to love coming to. You seen that he was almost done and could have 1st) say hello, good evening 2) inform us of that you are closing, but enjoy your meal, instead of i need to ask you to leave. I the food truck owners are paying a rental fee and working so hard just for you to screw it up. I've been a loyal regular at this venue for two years after relocating to Gresham, and for the past three months, I've brought my family every Thursday for bingo. Unfortunately, after my experience hosting a staff event here, I won't be returning. Despite spending $50 on a reservation for my staff, and over $100 on drinks for my team, the bartender treated me with zero rapport and disrespect. Not only was I treated like a total stranger despite my consistent patronage, but I was abruptly cut off while sober. When I pointed out that there is no signage or posted policy regarding drink limits and asked where the rule was stated, the bartender was coy, simply responding: "It just always has been a rule." It was clear he didn't want to admit there was no such signage. Had the policy been clear, I would have simply ordered differently to stay within their "rules." The most insulting part was when the bartender said "you need to slow down anyways," implying I was intoxicated. As a business owner hosting an event here, I was there to provide leadership energy and engage with my staff; to have my professional energy mischaracterized as "drunkenness" felt like a blatant power trip. It was unprofessional, inaccurate, disrespectful and deeply embarrassing to have someone make that assumption and handle it that way in front of my employees. Ironically, I have regularly had the same amount of drinks in the past without issue on Thursday night bingo, WITH THE SAME BARTENDER. If you value loyalty, professional hospitality, and a staff that understands the difference between a team leader having a good time and actual intoxication, I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

This is our second time coming here and we love it. They have a delicious set of beer and cider options, mixed drinks as well which is a fun change of pace for these environments. The bartender is always lovely, place is clean and there is always seating, plus there is a French patisserie just sitting right there inside teasing you, and totally worth it too. I was not a fan of Troutdale Station. The food hall felt basic and low end. Prices were high given the ambiance and food quality. The variety is high, but none of the vendors looked very good. I had beef shawarma from Yaba Yabaa and tried the Chicken Tikka Masala from Hydhub. They were both around $15. The shawarma needed more sauces and toppings. The Tikka was fine but not as good as a cheaper one I often get in DC. I'm not sure why the prices are so high when the overhead seems very low. read more

I could see this being a great spot to hang with friends and grab a beer. I came here with my family for a late lunch on a Friday, and it wasn't very crowded at all. We all ended up getting something different, and the carts here have something for everyone. I got a banh mi, and though it wasn't the best I've had, I really enjoyed dining here. We had a great time, but next time, it's Happy Valley Station or bust! It's closer, and besides, my parents live over there. September 16, 2024 Monday at 5pm I come here all the time meaning to the food trucks here. I don't really get sushi here. I usually get the sushi in the happy valley food truck station. Today I decided to go to FRESH SUSHI. I ordered the TEMPTATION ROLL for $11 dollars from this older Asian man who looks like he's in his late 50's dark skin. He's working by him self alone. He didn't speak English. It took awhile to get my order it took him 20 minutes to make this sushi roll. Got it, opened it and you bet your ass I'm shocked! It's nothing like the photo that they have on display. I don't expect the photo to be exact sushi looking photo on their display menu. When I say it doesn't look at all like what I ordered meaning that it's not even the correct order and it was small as hell! Wtf? What happen!? Is this person new? I did not want to eat it by the way it looked! But I knew I have to still try one because I'm wasting my money anyway. I put one sushi in my mouth and begin to chew and it was disgusting!!!! I spit it back out. It was gross. How can you sell this to people? Do you not care what people think of your food? What a waste of my money!!! I ordered the temptation roll in happy valley location before and it was bomb! This one I can say it's a waste of money! Look at the photo I provided. He also hid the burnt sushi roll and flipped it so we don't see it. My temptation roll is suppose to have tempura shrimp, crab, cream cheese, avocado, and spicy eel sauce. Look at my photo no crab or shrimp tempura what so ever! Do food trucks not hold the quality of their food anymore and just selling to make a buck?
