So we live out towards this area and I remember when all these little shops were being built. Finally got a chance to jump in and try one and it did not disappoint. Had my son with me and he was excited to see if they had elote, even though it wasn't labeled as elote it was labeled as corn, but once you read the description, you knew what it was if you know, you know. Everything was made fresh brioche buns came out amazing. Everything was super clean and well put together and these days getting a sandwich and fries for $15 or a complete kids meal on the same size bun for nine dollars is a pretty great deal. Granted it's still gonna be hard if you're trying to feed a big family going out to eat these days but I really didn't think that we got out for a pretty good deal. Grabbed an extra fry for myself because I had already eaten and the five dollar side of fries was huge. Very happy with that because I am a big quantity of food kind of guy. He was very good and it's nice to see how good they put it together. For the price you see on the menu they gave us two. Very nice people working there explained everything and a great experience. We do hope to come back and glad to see a business in the area that we enjoy.

3 of us ordered at the same time and yet the service was still pretty quick. The shop itself is small on the inside but had good space for waiting. The burger was average but still good, and the fries were nice and crispy. The grilled corn was my favorite though, so delicious and slightly charred, and I like how they packaged it to go.

The food was really good. The Jambalaya dog has so much flavor. The corn on the cob is roasted Mexican style. So much flavor! I really enjoyed my food. The service was great along with the ambiance. Definitely will be coming back to try other food items on the menu.

    Village burger. Ok

First time in. New building. Clean. Server very friendly Tried the Street dog. Foot long and comes with some fries. Pedestrian dog, store bought quality nothing special. Bun is a lot of bread, too much for me. Bun to filling off. $15. Wife tried the Village burger. Good sized patty. Other toppings. Meh. Again a very big bun. Too much bread. If I have a hard time fitting a burger in my mouth it should be the generous toppings not an oversized bun. Other better burgers around.

Buhnz has been one of those "we should try it sometime" places since it opened and finally just decided to go. Ordered the Buhnz Burger (because you have to) and a Street Dog and WOW, I'm blown away. The very first bite of burger had me already planning the next visit. So juicy and packed with flavor, stacked with Beef, pulled pork, bacon, and onion ring. The street dog was smothered in peppers, onion, and aioli. The fries can make or break a meal and these definitely made it, great texture and taste. I'd love to see them introduce a fry sauce cause everything else was amazing, but they do include a dish of ketchup to dip which was a nice touch. The price is a bit high but the meal was so tasty and portions so large that I don't mind spending a bit more to make this a regular spot. Definitely will be back, maybe I'll see you there!

Quaint location. Decent space, amazing menu, & great food. Friendly staff! I would recommend if you're in the area, & needing a hot dog!

Current menu! More items being added soon!

We tried out Buhnz, a new burger spot tonight and were so impressed! Everyone in the family really enjoyed the Village Burger--it was packed with flavor and cooked just right. The french fries also deserve a special shout-out: perfectly crispy on the outside and delicious all around. I also loved the corn on the cob--it was done to perfection! 5-stars! The service was excellent, and you can tell they really care about their customers. They're open to feedback and even plan to expand their menu based on what people want, which is awesome! We'll definitely be back soon to try the hotdogs (they're huge!) and can't wait to see this place take off. A great new addition to town--highly recommend!

Great food. Great atmosphere. Great customer service. We got the street dog, corn on the cob, and a village burger. All was exceptional. Fries were crisp and freshly prepared. The corn was flavorful and juicy. The hot dog was by far one of the best dogs I've ever had. The burger was juicy and a force to be reckoned with. Highly recommend. We'll be back soon.

Sauerkraut, onion and mustard dog. Amazing!

Very good food. Hot dogs are huge and very delicious. The workers are friendly and polite. I'm so glad I went to this place. A must stop if you are in the area. Restaurant is clean and inviting. This is on my list of places I will go to regularly. Thank you guys.

Don't Call It a Cuban. Sincerely, a Cuban…read more There is a sacred alchemy to a real Sándwich Cubano. It requires crisp, lard-baked Cuban bread pressed paper-thin a la plancha until the crust crackles. It requires yellow mustard to cut the fat, sharp pickles for acid, and molten Swiss cheese acting as the crucial binding agent between roast pork and ham. It is a precise, beautiful piece of culinary history. What was served to me here is an absolute crime against my heritage. Look at this plate: soft, pillow-like Hawaiian rolls stuffed with shredded pork, leafy greens, and a thin vinaigrette. It hasn't seen the heat of a press in its entire existence. There is no mustard, no pickles, no ham, and not a single drop of melted Swiss cheese binding anything together. This is not a Cuban sandwich. It is a pulled pork slider on a dinner roll. And it would have been a pretty decent one on that merit. However, slapping the name "Cuban" on a Southern pulled pork slider because someone threw pulled pork on a bun is lazy, dishonest, and insulting to the culture it claims to represent. Call it what it actually is on the menu, you are ruining what some people will think is an actual Cuban. Or... maybe hire a Cuban and learn how to make the real thing. A four paragraph AI response? Look. There is a stool in Havana, or Tampa, or a fluorescent-lit ventanita in Hialeah at two in the morning, where a man who has done this ten thousand times takes bread baked with lard that morning, lays it open, and builds something with no wasted motion. Mustard. Pickle. Ham. Pork. Swiss. He puts it under a press that has been hot since 1961 and he leans on it. The crust goes to glass. The cheese surrenders. You get it in butcher paper and you eat it standing up, maybe with a few fried ripe plantains (not kettle chips) and you don't talk for ninety seconds. That sandwich is not a concept. It is not an interpretation. It is not an exploration of a broader range of anything. It is years of exile, hunger, cigar smoke, and stubborn people refusing to forget what home tasted like, compressed under a hot iron into something you can hold in one hand. What you served me is a pulled pork slider with fruit on it. And look -- I ate it. For what it was, it was good. Smoked pork, mango, mint, pickled onion, a soft milk bun: that's a nice sandwich on a summer afternoon and I don't begrudge anybody a nice sandwich. But you didn't have the nerve to sell it on its own merits. You reached across an ocean, took a word that people bled for, and stapled it to the front for the traffic. Call it Mojo Pulled Pork. Call it Caribbean Gold. Call it anything true. The sandwich is alright it's a 6.25. It's the word from a culture that's stolen. A real Cuban mixto would beat down this sandwich with a 1st bite knockout.

Walking into the Soda Shop, it feels like a kid's daydream. There was candy and souvenirs everywhere, a big ice cream counter, and, of course, the soda shop. I noticed that they also sell food here-- it smelled amazing and I would definitely give it a try if I came again. Ordering was easy, and the young man behind the counter was really helpful-- I had never been to a soda hop before, so I had some questions about the options. He did not make me feel silly for having questions, and he did a good job of both training his coworker and being attentive to the line at the same time. I ordered a sugar free salted caramel soda (there were so many sugar free options!!!) It was delightful. I was a little apprehensive that it would actually taste like the flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised. The price point is higher than you would pay for a normal soda, but I think that the novelty of the experience is worth it. We had a great time, and would definitely return (I want to see the upper level, too-- that was closed for a private event when we stopped in).
