Recently I needed some furniture moved within my home. Some heavy, awkward pieces had to be moved downstairs, and to other places in my home. Coffee Movers sent three men and arrived on time. I handed the lead mover a list of everything I wanted done. "Donk", his nickname, I presume, took charge of my move and directed the other two gentlemen. Everything was done with great care and professionalism. They were being paid by the hour, but wasted no time completing my job. The charge was reasonable, and the guys were very nice. very poor service - the two movers took their time making what should have been a 3-4 job into 8 HOURS. absolutely no hustle - between every single item, there was a delay there is no doubt this was done intentionally estimate: $1100-1300- wanted to charge over $1700 also- they couldn't get a fridge out of the house to move to the new house (even though there were no issues getting the fridge in initially) DO NOT GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF - stay far away from this company read more

We used the Coffee team on 2/7/2025 to do our move from Kettering to Bellbrook after 20 years in our house....so lots of stuff! They were the hardest working group of guys and very responsive to all our requests. Also, very respectful of us and our belongings. They arrived on time and didn't finish until the day until all was done...over 10 hours! The move went very smoothly and we had no issues at all. Couple of issues I forgot to mention is they left half my bed at my other house. The very young people they sent did not want to work. They said they did not have enough room even though they brought two trucks they only wanted to use one. They stood around so the price would be higher. They were the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They charged me well over 1,200.00 for very sub standard work. I would NEVER use them again! read more

We've used Coffee's Moving and Storage twice. Both times, we were extremely pleased with the efficiency, service and professionalism, by both the office staff and the movers. Justin helped us with the quote and he was fantastic in every way. He was respectful of our home and was warm and accurate with his estimate. Cody, Rena, & staff showed up the next day at the exact appointed time and the whole crew got to work immediately. They handled everything with care and never wasted a single minute. I will preface this by saying that I had never employed a moving company prior to this, so I do not know how this company compares to others. First, the positive: most of the items that I needed moved to my new home were moved. They did not try to charge me for the time they did not work when they were late and taking breaks. The crew leader was pleasant. Now the rest: The movers arrived 30 minutes late and smelled like pot smoke, which is no big deal, but a bit.....unprofessional. Only one of the movers (the crew leader) seemed like he had any interest in moving anything. They were unable to move a box spring down my stairs ( I moved it up with only my wife to help). They informed me of various rules that apparently exist for movers, which is fine, but they did so after arriving, not before hand. These rules include " we can't move crates or open top boxes." "We can't move your lawn mower if it has gas in it." "We can't move any chemicals." In short, they were "adequate" but did the absolute minimum, and mostly grudgingly. I would definitely recommend using some other company. read more

Do not hire this company. Don't trust that the estimate you get is accurate. Tami, who came to give me an estimate, was rude. She acted like she was doing me a favor. Later she raised the price and said I would have to pack myself. I asked if they were at least going to pack the china and she went off and started yelling on the phone and telling me she was doing me a favor working her crew over Labor Day weekend. She was vile. I fired them by email so I wouldn't have to talk to her again. Funny thing is, when she was yelling at me on the phone she said she didn't need another bad review on YELP. Well sweetie I tell the truth. I have never had a worse experience. Don't tell a customer the estimate includes packing, then raise price and say it doesn't include packing. read more

The staff and the movers went above and beyond what was included in the quote. While in the process of moving my mother was injured at the local bank. My crew stayed and and finished packing and finished without any help from me. Wasn't required but took all the stress off me. Highly recommended!!! read more

Showed up a half hour early. Very courteous and got right to work. I was impressed with how all my leather and wood pieces were wrapped for protection. I was not forewarned that they would not move lamps without them being packed in boxes along with any picture with glass in the frame. I was able to take these myself, but it would have been nice to be told ahead. read more

The movers were great. Business side of it was horrible. If you get an estimate, don't trust that it's accurate. We were quoted a certain amount per hour and they crossed out the hourly rate on the contract and wrote in a higher rate at the last second. The manager left right before they we done and the poor lead mover was stuck with presenting me the bill. When I called the business office to question it I didn't get a call back as promised. I had to call twice before the owner returned my phone call. The owner was defensive and pretty much told me I got a good deal even though the estimate was wrong...it wasn't a good deal! Do NOT use this company for ANY moving. Do NOT use them for packing either. They used way too much paper for packing, meaning way too many boxes, making our bill higher than expected. They tried to blame us by saying we weren't organized but that wasn't the case, they just had a poor estimate and didn't want to own up to it. I actually feel sorry for the men and women that have to work for this company. You definitely do not get the feeling of a small family business. We will never recommend them to anyone, and i hope our realtor doesn't either ! Sent the following to management. I included their reply: I'd like to start by saying I have recommended coffee movers many times over since you moved to my home in 2016. That team did an excellent job. However today was the exact opposite. I had everything ready to go for the movers when they arrived. They are very nice however Right away they said the items would not fit in the truck. I said if not we'll figure it out. I believe it was Chris, he seemed to be the team leader, kept trying to get us to return the U-Haul rented truck and use coffee, I get it try to up sell, we are moving out of state so it's not worth it for us and he was relentless about it. The most frustrating thing was how often they, as in all three, kept walking around the house and not picking up a single item. Myself and husband finally started putting thing out by the truck to be loaded and that somewhat kicked them into gear. They also about ever 20 minutes were walking to their truck parked at the neighbors taking their time getting drinks which is fine but why not bring the the cooler closer to where they are working! When booking I gave a very detailed list of everything we had including box count. They recommended 3-guys for 2-hours. They arrived at 8:45 and were done at 1:45! How in the world could the quote be that far off! Clearly milking the hourly rate. They knew we were pretty upset at the end and didn't pack the end of the truck well and damaged items. In addition Chris asked my husband about buying moving blankets and he told him no we had items he could use, then Chris came to me asking the same question. Extremely unprofessional. Overall very disappointed with this crew. I would like to know why I am paying travel time when that was not told to me when inquiring or when booking the movers? I want to mention that I Feel that there was a misunderstanding on the time quote you mentioned at 2 hours, we likely told you about having a 2 hour Minimum and all customers do pay for some travel as the movers on duty are in the truck to come to your service and most Companies call it port to port or start to finish time just not label it travel. You only paid for 15 minutes. The feedback you are Giving does not fall on deaf ears as we always follow up with our crews on customer comments good or bad. Unfortunately because of you choosing the rental truck transfer for your moving and Coffee Movers, Inc. not handling all of the Service that voids our coverage for the damage you experienced. This was the first company that popped up on my google search and I'm glad it was. The customer service was AMAZING! They guys worked quickly and worked as a team well. They even hooked up my washer and dryer for me too as a bonus. I recommend this company and specifically the team: Jarrod, John, Chris, and Josh. I thought a follow up survey, phone call or email would have been sent after our recent experience with Coffee. First off the drivers were over 30 minutes late. Our expected time frame was 8:30-9 am, and no one called to say the drivers were going to be late and they didn't show until 9:35 am. I think a curiosity called would have been nice. I was told when I set up the move that the movers would wrap up furniture and that was not done. Pads were put on the door frames but the white chair that was moved was not wrapped and now there are black finger stains on it. I am more than disappointed with the service we provided and paid for. Nothing was wrapped and no shoe covers were worn or plastic put on the high traffic floors. To top it off the truck that was brought was not even big enough! My husband and I had to completely fill his truck up two more times to finish moving our items. It's unfair that we paid all this money to have your house moved and the truck not even hold everything! And we packed up and moved several large items before the movers came. I understand moving is a hard labor intensive job and I'm not saying the movers we had we rude but our items were not handle properly. I am very disappointed with the service provided and unfortunately will not be using Coffee or recommend this company in the future if the office staff portrays your services to be more than the movers are willing to do. We had an awesome experience with Coffee Movers. I called various national companies to move my mom from her assisted living apartment 3 hours away to Brookville and their quotes were sky high. I called Coffee and when I told them what the move was, they immediately knew what would be in her apartment, where she was moving to along with the layout of her new place, and provided a very reasonable quote. They also had suggestions about anything we might pack ahead of time. Moving day was a breeze, they were on time, efficient and very personable. They made the 3 hour drive back down in good time, unloaded her furniture and boxes where we wanted them, and the actual cost was less than what they quoted.
