I used to get help from Chris a few years back when I first moved to Oregon. I wish I could've taken him with me to California, because he's the best of the best. Our apartment was a disaster. You couldn't see our carpet in our bedroom. I was so embarrassed to have friends over. My boyfriend moved in, in September he was using our coat closet as his closet and 90% of his things are in the garage. I hired Chris to help. I work 47 hours a week and I have Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. My boyfriend is finishing grad school so it was difficult to make time to clean. I was so overwhelmed. Chris was booked 3 weeks out which was OK by me. I am hosting a dinner party for 14people in 2 days. He showed up 30 min early and started right away. We were super excited to have our house deep cleaned - something I get done at least twice a year. I exchanged multiple emails with Coffman's beforehand as I wasn't going to be able to be there when they came to clean (my husband and son were home though). First off, Chris seemed to be a standup guy. His ?wife?, Karrie, not so much (read on....). They were asked to scrub floors (including edges, tops of baseboards, the usual), and clean walls throughout. Karrie reportedly "cleaned" the master bed/bath - afterwards, my husband & son saw her sitting for most of the rest of the day...just sitting. Chris seemed to work pretty hard. They were done and ready to leave at 3 (though they'd said they'd still be there when I got home from work....) When I got home and walked through the house I was NOT a happy camper. The floors, walls, porcelain in the master bath hadn't been touched (Karrie had done that room according to my husband). The shower still had mildew in the corners, the chrome wasn't even polished. The bedroom had been mopped, but only the main surface - no corners, edges, baseboards. (On the plus side, everything was dusted.) The rest of the house was the same thing - surface cleaned, no edges, corners, etc. A wall in the hallway (where the dogs run through) had been semi-cleaned of the dirt they leave behind but that was it. The baseboards hadn't been washed, there was grime along the edges of the floors throughout - it was very not cool. I'd asked for the wooden cupboards and drawer fronts in the kitchen to be washed - they weren't. The things that were done were the artwork throughout the house had been dusted, and the light fixtures were dusted. This was not a deep clean by anyone's definition. My husband paid them in cash. When I contacted them to discuss what I was unhappy with, Karrie emailed me back (Karrie....who didn't do much of anything but sit). I've kept the emails - in one she said Chris (the guy who actually worked) wasn't detail-oriented like she is. I asked why, if she's detailed, weren't the things I asked to be done, done. She emailed me back "1 St off, get all over [my husband] & yourself" and "I'm not going to sit here & argue with you about what Coulda, Shoulda been." It was an unsettling exchange, to say the least. Later, Chris tried calling me but by then I'd shared the emails with my husband and son and we agreed it was best avoid potential contact with them again. I would advise against using Coffman's, particularly if you want a deep clean (the kind of cleaning I don't have time to do often). Again, Chris seemed like a decent human who reportedly worked hard - Karrie was unsettling and clearly lazy. There are some really great folks out there who are happy for the work and who do a fabulous detailed job. These folks aren't in that class. read more

Chris was fantastic! Being younger, our house was a complete mess in every way. Chris made everything look perfect and spotless, just in time for our move out date. I can even say the house looks so much better than when I moved in.. In addition, he's a great guy, very friendly and personable. He didn't mind my yappy dog barking at him and even played with her to make her more comfortable. My spouse and I recently bought a house and the previous owners were terrible house-keepers! We decided to hire professional cleaners to help get things cleaned up before we moved in. We took to Yelp and found Coffman's. From the initial phone call, my spouse wanted to hire them, and we were booked for the "move-in deep clean" that was stated to be "top to bottom." Chris arrived solo (and early) and was enthusiastic with a big personality. He was there cleaning for about five to six hours in the two story, 2 bd/2.5 ba town house over 1,200 sq.ft. It is hard to clearly judge the work done due to the filth in the home, but the job was satisfactory (there were a few missed spots and not my definition of "deep clean"). It appeared that Chris defiitely got one or two layers of filth cleaned off. Myself, spouse and family all pitched in to really deep clean - to scrub and get into all the nooks and crannies. Coffman's helped us to get a running start for getting our new home clean! read more

STOP! Don't be fooled by the 5-star ratings like I was. I can almost copy Tracey H review verbatim. I hired Coffman's to clean our rental home. It appeared Chris (the husband) did the work, and Karrie, called the shots and did very little if anything. When I checked in on them a few hours into the job, I found Karrie sitting on the floor looking at an iPad, which made me wonder what was getting done. As I looked further into the rooms they had "cleaned", I discovered completely unsatisfactory work. There was dust and grime on the walls, cabinets and fixtures, smudges on the shower door, and dirty sink stops. There was an area that needed special attention, that was clearly done with minimal effort, because when I cleaned it, I was able to clean the surface completely. I found dirty light fixtures and switches, stove fronts and sides, marks on the wall and cobwebs hanging from ceiling, and dirty tile floors that could not have been cleaned. As it turns out, I ended up putting 4 hours of cleaning in myself. Needless to say, it is very evident this pair are not "professional" cleaners, and don't have any idea how to deep clean or even basic cleaning for that matter. I recommend you avoid this "service" like the plague, they might offer you a bargain, but you won't be getting a clean house. read more

Was debating if I was going to leave a review. But thought I would share my experience. We just bought our 1st home and being 8 1/2 months pregnant I wanted to hire someone to do a deep clean before we moved in. The house wasn't dirty but still wanted everything fresh for when we moved in. They stated they clean from top to bottom being I got the "deep clean". It took them 5 hours . I went to the house did a small walk through (my mistake) and paid them. The 1st thing I notice when I was locking everything up was the window blinds were not dusted. Later my husband came home and we did a walk through and noticed almost every room still needed to be cleaned. The closet door tracks, our master shower only had one glass door cleaned when we have two! The soap in shower (from previous owners), and dust were still very much there. Kitchen floors still had lots of dirt . Not sure if they cleaned the fridge since it was basically clean but the freezer definitely wasn't cleaned. Lots of other things that I had to clean that I paid them to take care of. This just wasn't what I was expecting for a full deep clean. Seemed like nice people but definitely wouldn't hire them again. read more
