I used their cleaning service for just under a year. I had a few minor issues with dings in my walls and door trim from not unplugging the vacuum from the outlet but overall they did an okay job. One day after they had cleaned my home, I came home to find a wet carpet with a note stating they had spilled a bucket of water on my laminate floor and carpet. Upon further review it was determined that they cleaned the water but placed the wet rug back on my floor. After pulling back the carpet to allow it to dry, I noticed water damage and my laminate floor had buckled. I immediately called Ashley to report the issue. She advised she would report it to her insurance company but stated a few times that she had never had to report anything to her insurance company before. She made me feel very uncomfortable for reporting an issue that had occurred with her employee for being careless. We then played phone tag a few times and during our last conversation she fired me as her customer stating I was a liability because I reported the damage caused by her employee. It turned out to be almost 6,000.00. Never in my life have I experienced such behavior by an owner of a company. I did not write a yelp review prior but this has stayed with me since my experience with Ashley snd her company. I would not recommend Ashley or her company for cleaning services to anyone in Oregon. I have used Simply Green Cleaning for about 4-5 months and I never been more disappointed in a cleaning service before. It started that I would have cleanings on Friday at a certain time. That never happened. If you say you will be there at a certain time, you need to be there at that time. Their cleaning is very subpar. My new wood floors have a film on them now that I can't get rid of. There are many areas that they just did not clean...I call it surface cleaning...not a deep clean. I have no knowledge of their cleaning quality because they never got around to cleaning our house. I contacted them initially via their online form (per the recommendation on their voicemail message) and received an email requesting a phone call. After playing phone and email tag for quite some time, we finally arranged an in home visit. This only occurred after we told them via email that we needed the house cleaned before an event at the end of the month. During the estimate and follow-up call, my husband was told there should not be any problem scheduling the cleaning before our event. The Monday before our event, we received an EMAIL saying there was no room in the schedule until mid-November. My husband responded that we needed our house cleaned before the end of the month and got a kiss-off email from the scheduler. No apology or explanation, just an appearance that the left hand (estimator) didn't know what the right hand (scheduler) was doing. In a follow-up call with the estimator, I received a better explanation of their resource issues, however, Simply Green is clearly at capacity. If they are not able to take on new customers, they should tell people that up front rather than wasting a month trying to line up business. At this late date, we cannot find a replacement. There was no attempt to help us other than providing a few names of other cleaners, but why should we trust their recommendation at this point? If it were my business, frankly, I would have paid a cleaner overtime, eating the loss on the estimate in order to gain an ongoing new customer (we were committing to monthly cleanings). Or I would have contacted existing customers that have regularly scheduled cleanings to see if there was any flexibility. Instead, they left us in the lurch before an event, creating a vocal detractor. Simply Green is a small company with limited resource availability and questionable customer service. read more

I committed to a monthly cleaning for the past 6 months. One of their strengths is eco friendly cleaning materials, which we want to minimize the fume exposure to our dogs.
