I ended up paying $119 for a 120 square foot carpet to be partially cleaned. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this company. I tried reaching out for a resolution but never heard from them. I ordered (online) a carpet clean and added two vents to meet their posted $119 minimum. When they came out I was informed they don't clean vents and that the minimum is $149. They did honor the $119 after we spoke on the phone, but no vents were cleaned. The carpet is still dirty. Even through my baseboards were removed, they didn't have any tool to clean the coffee stain close to the wall. The coffee stains in the middle of the room were not removed either. I ended up hiring another company to clean the carpet. They were able to remove the stains. I try to only hire local companies so I do not leave this review easily. read more

While the technician was really friendly and did a good job on the actual carpets, we were left with some pretty bad damage to our door frames. There are divots on every door frame to each room the tech cleaned. It is from the hose scraping along the frame while cleaning. The last carpet company we used had plastic shields they put on the wood door frame to avoid this very issue. We are pretty disappointed a 30 minute carpet clean has left us with such severe damage to the woodwork of our home. I emailed photos to the owner and a week later I still haven't heard back. I hate to leave a bad review but I also want to save anyone from having to spend time and money fixing damage to your home that could easily be prevented. read more

He didn't move or lift anything other than the sofas. He just cleaned around everything - even though he assured me he would move everything. He left a huge puddle in the middle of the driveway & on the walkway. The whole thing was done in less than 30 minutes. I had to hire another company to come do the job right. The work this guy did wasn't even as good of a job as I could have done on my own with the steam cleaner I have, why would I pay someone to do something I can do myself? Actually, it wasn't even as good of a job as I would have done myself. UPDATE: I love being harassed in the middle of my day over the phone by someone who was too lazy to do their job right the first time. You couldn't be bothered to notice the parts of the carpet you didn't clean, but you sure noticed when I gave you a bad review. read more

My experience with Good Neighbor Carpet Cleaning was not terrible, but not the most customer friendly. To start, the servicer that came to our home was over an hour late- not a big deal for me sense I am working from home, but it's the principle. The servicer began setting his equipment up right away. I asked if he had any shoe-booties, as he was tracking dirt inside our home. He replied "no" with a shrug and that they "ran out" and continued working. I laid towels down to try and reduce the dirt brought in. Even so, the servicer continued walking about with what appeared to be much care to parts of our floor that were not toweled. As he cleaned our children's area rug, he noted a possible juice stain and told me that it would not come up. I was confused because I thought, if it's juice, why would it not come up?.. it's juice. Their website states that it their mixture of chemicals will get even the toughest stains out. The servicer did not inform me about their "Remove spots that will not come out with a regular cleaning" option. I wish I were offered this, because of course I want my rugs clean. I emailed and left a voicemail to the company regarding my experiencing with no response. Again, I believe the cleaning service was downright terrible, although I think the service was not treated with the best care. Good Neighbor explains on their website that: "Our passion for a clean environment and top of the line work has motivated us to provide environmentally friendly and best service to our customers, as they deserve. We treat our customer's property with absolute respect and care as if it was our own. Our customers' satisfaction is very important to us and is a top priority." Because the servicer failed to acknowledge he was tracking dirt and showed no signs in fixing this, nor was offered additional servicing to remove the juice stain, as well as not receiving any response from the company after emailing and calling, I would steer clear of this company if you're looking for a "client first experience." Ultimately, the service and response could've been better. read more

I had a great experience with this company. They use texts to confirm and send updates about your appointment, which is nice. My carpet cleaning professional was on time, courteous, went out of his way to make sure I got the service I needed and did a great job. Super fast too! My carpets were not that dirty to begin with, but all the small "stains" that were bothering me, are gone, and one large dark stain, that I thought was permanent, also gone. No after-smell or chemicals that I could tell. The only reason I did not give five starts, is the carpets were wetter than I was expecting and took a while to dry since they are in the basement. read more

I was notified immediately with confirmation text when I schedule carpet cleaning for our house. I was also notified when carpet guy was on his way. Chad arrived promptly and was super friendly and knowledgable. Our son had pretty much destroyed the carpet in his bedroom apartment area for the 9 years he lived there (as kids will do). Chad was super fast and the results were amazing. There were some permanent stains (fake halloween blood--ugh--boys...) but I am super impressed with the speed and quality. This guy is a joke. Had to call to see if they were even coming, owner said they were behind schedule and it would be an additional 45 mins to get to my residence. After he showed up, no apology for being late and the the job was rushed and poor at best. Against my better judgment I gave the owner partial payment. The owner then sent nasty text messages to me stating that most carpet cleaners wouldn't have shown up and I was lucky that he did. Additionally, he stated that he was going to put me in collections for the additional payment. ($29) I didn't have time to teach the young man business 101 and refused to play childish text message games. On professionalism alone, stay away from this character. read more

He doesn't stand by his work. I thought this guy was ok cleaning pet odors although it needed a second cleaning on the regular carpet areas. He came back to take care of my area rugs. I called later to say it still stinks to high heaven and mentioned maybe if we put it on cement, he could use more water without fear of ruining the hard woods under it, hoping he would come back. He indicated that would have helped, why not mention it before cleaning?? Answer was to buy Back Out on Amazon so he wouldn't charge me again, AGAIN? It would be cheaper and do better than he could. Poor job, several streaks in my carpet where they missed cleaning. My carpets stink even though they promised they wouldn't and used a special pet treatment. No stains were touched, even though they were pointed out. All stains look the same as before they were cleaned. We have old carpets, however it is very clear by looking at the job there was a lack of attention and detail. I even made it easy for them by moving all the furnature off of the carpet giving them a clear canvas. My husband stated his phone rang 5-6 times while he was cleaning and he was busy making plans for the evening during the 30-40 min he was here. Also, he left a huge scrape on my front porch from how he pulled the hoses in. I had just restained my porch 2 weeks prior and now have to go out and fix his mess. I have 5 children ages 21, 14, 14, 9 and 4 - plus 2 dogs, a hedgehog and a rabbit. My carpet and sectional became an organism of their own after a few years. I thought it would be impossible to remove the stink and stains. I was wrong, Good Neighbor Carpet Cleaning came in and with there wash and pet stain/smell remover and enzymatic treatment and both our couch and carpet became almost like new. They are both old and I was amazed at how clean and smell free they became. The company is very professional, punctual and kind. They do great work and I would recommend them 110%. Andre was very attentive and accommodating on getting us scheduled. However, a few things to note. All in all, it was obvious that he didn't take the time to care for our property, and did not put things back to the way they were before he used them. Items: When he used our hose, he turned off the valve to our sprinkler. This is a Y-Shaped attachment that splits off into two hoses. He never turned the one side back on. He also took off the sprayer head and never returned reattached it. We've had 90 degree heat and did not notice the valve he turned off until our plants started dehydrating (that cost over $700, not including the drip line). He also damaged some of my wife's plants (which he refunded $25 for), and then chipped a piece of interior trim and knocked over a security sign, that then cracked. When explaining these items, he was somewhat argumentative and did not offer to correct anything other than damage to my wife's plants. At the end of the day, I opted not to argue and pursue the other items, hence the reason for the low review. If someone doesn't take the time to care for your property and do the simple things to make it right, then I would not be able to recommend their services to friends and family. read more
