I purchased my Ford Bronco about 7 months ago. I was not happy when we went to pick it up from the dealer because we had it custom made. It was filthy parts where in the trunk that were never installed and o. Top of that their where items missing. I can understand I did not purchase it directly to them, but you would figure that they would treat everyone as a customer. Jennifer was the person the was like the vehicle was as ready. Called them and was told someone would be out by noon. I asked for service agent to contact me to confirm. Again no response, no contact. *Be sure to ADEQUATELY test drive, especially if it's a used vehicle. Recently purchased a used vehicle and took it for a test drive on a short, predetermined route. Aside from an issue with the door (that they refused to fix but still charged a "reconditioning fee" for) and a dash warning for low windshield washer fluid, the vehicle seemed ok. On the short drive home, the check engine light came on. The cause was quickly determined and we reached out to the dealership. The windshield washer fluid was also filled up but emptied out due to a leak. That issue was also communicated. We drove to the dealership at their request to "see what they could do". That pointless drive resulted in us being told that they have no plans to assist. Our salesman, Don, was very pleasant and helped to the boundaries of the limitations placed on him by the dealership. He worked very hard for our best interests and was empathetic to the length of time the car buying process took. This purchase experience could have resulted in future purchases or referrals. However, this experience, while having some good parts, is mostly overshadowed by the negatives and the constant reminder of the glowing check engine light and warning symbol for the issues they refused to handle with integrity. * A 2nd key was promised on the we owe. I will update once that is received or if any other changes come to fruition. read more

Jaden Dakota, and Summer all went above and beyond to catch my sisters dog who had been missing for almost 5 hours and keep her safe until they were able to get a hold of us. Parts department is absolutely terrible. I called them to make sure they have valve covers available for my truck. They do and I went and got them, get home open them up they are both driver side. Keep in mind I need driver and passenger side. I call them back tell them the mess up no big deal they've got the passenger side I'll go the next day and swap it out. I get there do the swap get home and it's another driver side cover. Finally they get it right the 3rd the time. A few weeks later I needed some intake tubes for my truck. I call them give them the part numbers, and my truck info. I get there the lady wrote down the wrong part number and magically the actual part I need its more expensive and they don't have it in stock. The old short brunette lady has been terrible when I go there. No knowledge of anything. Unfortunately for me they are the only ford dealer relatively close to me so I'm out of luck on that. You could probably get called the Chevy dealer down the road and give them the part number and they could tell you with more reliability if the ford dealer has parts in stock and the price read more

I found the car I wanted and they had the car available for me so they run my credit for the SPECIFIC car I was looking for and approve me but when it's all done all of a sudden the car isn't available. They ran my credit to then tell me the car isn't available after the fact. unprofessional and trash dealership, and then they try to get me in to a more expensive trim that I clearly did not want. First, I have to give 5 stars to Don, my sales person and Jose, the manager. We were just in the stage of looking for a new vehicle and my wife wanted to try a Bronco Sport. She loved it. Jose gave us a great price on our trade so we said yes to the deal. Now the bad news. We had pre-approved financing at a low 2.0% before going into the office to close the deal. Rob Keller kept trying to get us to accept an extended warranty package, which we did not anticipate before going in. Under the pressure, we relented and took the $3,000 warranty with the understanding that we could cancel at any time! We also somehow lost out on our financing and ended up with theirs at a higher interest rate. It gets worse. The next day I went to Rob and said that I wanted to cancel the warranty because it was overpriced. He said that I had to wait 60 days to cancel!!! Mind you, we never got any paperwork on the warranty at the closing so I took him at his word. After the 60 days, I tried calling three different days to get him to start the cancellation process. Only after going to the office in person did I get the form to cancel. I filed it out at home and immediately emailed it to Rob. A week later I was still trying to get the original paperwork and confirmation that he processed the form. Only after threatening to file with the BBB did I get a response. He said that I was on his TO-DO list still and was busy, and it would take 4-6 weeks to process on the warranty end. He emailed me one page regarding the warranty. I had to go to the warranty companies website to get all 16 pages. Now the kicker: I had the right to cancel immediately!! Now I'll lose $50 at least and will get a pro-rated refund. After purchasing a vehicle at another dealership years ago I give Ford five stars. Never once did I feel pressured to buy a vehicle. They listened to what I wanted in a vehicle. They worked with my price range. As far as sales everyone was wonderful. I went in for my oil change and it just so happened that my husband had spilled soda on my seat. I asked them to shampoo my seats I did not care how much it cost. They did this for free of charge. I recently went in because I had a nail in my tire. This time it took them quite a while seeings how there was only one man working due to understaffing and they were busy. (Not their fault. Someone quit) However, with that being said they repaired my tire free of charge. Never once have I had a problem with this dealership as far as sales or service. They have been nothing but wonderful and they also have a happy attitude. read more

I am an extremely dissatisfied and irate customer...I came into this dealership looking for a vehicle. I met a good sales guy, very patient, not pushy at all and quite jovial. I didn't see a vehicle I liked that day, however after looking online I did find something.....the vehicle (preowned) was in one of their Tampa locations.... I completed the paperwork was extremely disappointed after going through the finance department... I will not elaborate, it would be too much for this post... The vehicle arrived and it was not what was advertised. There was no back up camera as posted on line and the interior not the posted color either.... one of the managers "worked" with me and advised he could get the back up camera installed and go "1/2 " on the seating in the vehicle due to the false advertising ....( these items should have been a red flag from the beginning)... I took the vehicle and drove it for a week and a 1/2 before it began losing power...I contacted the dealership to speak to the sales guy, he was no longer there. I went through service about three times, each individual giving me the run around. The last representative in sales I spoke with after telling him what's happening with the vehicle asked for my information, then proceeded to let me know the problem that's occurring is not covered under the extended warranty that I took when I purchased the vehicle. This is the point where I became irate... I called the General Manager, Steven Hurt who advised a determination cannot be made on what's wrong with the vehicle unless I bring it in for evaluation (at my cost), however if the problem I'm having with the vehicle is not covered under the warranty, I will have to pay out of pocket, and I cannot return the vehicle as there is a no return policy.... It gets even better at this point.... I brought the vehicle in to have the diagnostic completed. I was advised at that time if the problem is not covered under the extended warranty, I will have to cover the diagnostic, the parts and of course labor. After the diagnostic was completed, I was advised the of the following; 1) The throttle body needs to be replaced (not covered).....2) slow oil leak from the timing cover (covered)....3) all liquids are in red (not covered)....4) water pump needs replacing " for preventative measures " ( not covered)..5) oil and oil filter needs addressing ( not covered)...I hold Coggin Deland and their Tampa location responsible, no maintenance whatsoever was completed on this vehicle, if any maintenance was completed they would have realized the line leading to the windshield wipers was disconnected. The "oil leak" didn't happen in the time I've had this vehicle, neither did the throttle body..... this was a known problem. The individual that picked up the vehicle and drove over 100 miles to Deland knew there was a problem with the vehicle (the throttle body).. but everyone kept their mouth shut and SOLD ME A LEMON. I would not purchase anything from this dealership.... I would have preferred not giving any stars but that was not an option.. read more

I had been searching for a new care with the right mileage at the right what seems like 24/7. Coggin Deland Ford had a 2010 Dodge Nitro with 68,000 miles on it for a very good price. The salesman I worked with was knowledgable and honest, and when I want into financing to work with their accountant I didn't feel like I was being milked for every penny that I had. Took the Dodge Nitro from Orlando to New Orleans, New Orleans to Amarillo, Tx, and from there caught Route 66 and drove all the way to LA, California. I told them I would be back shortly with the cash I got the cash 2 hours later and called paul to tell him I was on my way he then told me they sold the car I couldnt believe it strung me along and telling the car would be ready when I came back then selling it out from under me. Purchased my first car here. I will start with the good. My salesmen I think Scott was his name, was very kind, not pushy, made this stressful process much easier for me. Now, the bad comes in. Finance office. The finance guy made this into the typical horrific dealership experience of having my money stolen for their own profits. I think his name was Mark. His office is the far left by the window. Stay away from him unless you like pushy, intimidating type of sales tactics. I came in with already approved financing though bank of america. I showed them the paper. They told me they will get me a lower rate. I sat there as they went away "trying to come up with a lower rate". They kept coming back asking me bunch of questions such as my last employers information and how much money I made. I answered it all but felt very odd, because Bank of America did not ask me any of that. Then eventually Mark came in and said, this is the rate you are going to get with BoA. And the rate was higher! My approved loan amount was about 1k lower then what the car ended up being, so I figured maybe thats why the rate is higher. The finance guy made me believe that this was a loan I was getting though BoA not through the dealership, I didnt realize dealership will sell you a loan from same institution with higher rate so they can pocket the difference. The next day I get a call from BoA asking me how everything went and I told him how my rate ended up being higher. They looked at the records and that is when I found out I was scammed by the dealer. Bottom line, if you purchasing a car here, you can go with Scott the salesmen, but avoid financing office completely if possible. Especially if you already have an approved loan, dont let them scam you into "giving you a lower rate". Now I did come in very upset at how I was treated at the finance office and I spoke to the finance Manager, his office is right next to Mark's, in the middle. He did show some empathy (something Mark COMPLETELY lacks), but I still felt as though he kept defending his fellow coworker. Me and my friend who I came in BOTH said that Mark shouldn't work there, he should be a prison guard or work for military, thats the type of personality he has, very cold. Yes, I understand people are trying to make money, (I worked in sales myself), but in sales you are also suppose to make your customer feel valued and that you have their best interest. The finance manager apologized and told me Mark will send me an email to try to make up to me in some way. I NEVER received any emails from the dealership and haven't been back. If you want a 100% genuine experience with caring people go to Off lease only in Orlando, they dont work on commission but get paid based on their reviews, even if they didn't sell, so you know you will get the best customer service possible, or Honda dealership in Orlando on semoran blvd. Such a drastic difference from this dealership. They are always smiling, apologetic, caring, NEVER pushy. And the honda dealership has free snacks! stay away from Finance guy. read more

My husband and I have a vacation home in Florida and had heard good things about this place from our American neighbors but ended up being disappointed overall. When we called in to see about availability of a particular model my husband wanted, the reception girl had attitude just redirecting our call but the salesperson we spoke to was polite and verified what we needed to know. When we later arrived to see our salesperson, the (same?) receptionist was apparently still in mood when we asked for our salesperson. In spite of the weird reception, my husband and I did do our test drive. We did have to wait a little while to hear about our financing options because we were comparing it to our bank's offer but the salesman was obviously working hard to keep us informed of what was going on in the process. What turned us off on this dealership was again, the frontline person. When I used the restroom during that visit, I overheard someone cursing from a stall and being very explicit on a phone call. As I was washing up the same girl flushed and left the bathroom without washing her hands! I was more than a little grossed out by that on top of the poor attitude. We ended up purchasing our car the following week from a different Ford dealership in Apopka. While our salesperson was eager to please, Coggin lost our business based on the very poor experience with their front end person. read more

I have been with Coggin for a few years now. I purchased a Ford Fusion SEL 2010. It is THE COOLEST CAR EVER!, and boosts my street cred 100% (as a grandma! LOL). And if I have any issue with it, I come back here and it is fixed right the first time. I will be a repeat customer because of this. HAD TO REPOST MY PARTNER REVIEW, this is not what you do to a loyal customer. If I can give them no star, I won't. I have been a Ford loyal customer for 17 years. Two Ford Expedition, Ford probe GT, Ford mustang GT, two Ford taurus. They called me and convinced me to believe that they had a vehicle for me. That I'm a Ford credit "Platinum" and convince me to trade in my Ford Taurus 2015 that has less than 31,000 miles for a 2017 band new Ford explorer which I left with the day before Christmas. Some Christmas present this was for my family. After a few weeks and the run around they told me I needed a cosigner cause its off by $6000. General manager Steve said they can add $2-3000 onto my trade in and I told them I can only put $1000. So where left with $2000 in the air. Steve GM stated to us he'll call us back in 24 hrs to work something out, never called. I called and called, then Robert in finance left a message to call back which I did. The # he left was not a good #, went to a electronic message that didn't identify who or where I was calling. So after calling main # and being persistent, is when I got a call back from Robert in finance. He refused to give me answers to the questions I asked in regards to the information he was giving. He gave false information, told me I didn't call. Yelled at me LOOK YOU HAD THAT CAR FOR THREE WEEKS NOW, you need to come today or your refusing. Mind you I'm waiting for the general manager who informed me last Thursday, that there was a problem. Because he already told me on that day, he spoke to Ford credit (my present loan company) that I was only approved for $31,000. Larry the sales manager spoke to me like I was a nobody and lied in my face about information I already knew. I asked to speak to Steve only to keep being told that Steve the general manager was busy with other customers files (like my situation wasn't important). Mind you I saw him laughing with a coworker through the window. Larry then came and said I wasn't approve with the cosigner. Take your car back (it was already next to the new car and they had already took the plates off the new car) there's nothing we can do. So Coggin Deland Ford dealer preferred to take a lost by now having to put that car as a used car. Then to work with me with the $2000 differences. To top it off, Larry had the audacity to tell me when I get $3000 to come back and we'll make something happen. ARE YOU SERIOUS, you really think I will be doing business with Ford yet alone COGGIN DELAND FORD ever again. But that's what I get for being a Ford loyal customer.
