Purchased a used 2021 outlander sport with 50k miles that I was assured was inspected & in top shape and came with 6k miles 6 month bumper 2 bumper guarantee. The next day, i had issues with the following: Ac not blowing cold when idling and the lights dimming when idle. The brakes started squeaking, the map light cover was broken once it's pressed, glove box light bulb missing, glove box Dampener broken, and the center ac vent was broken and wouldn't move or close.(again this was assured it was inspected) Russell my sales rep scheduled me for the following day at 8:30am to have it looked at. On arrival I was told they needed it all day. I had to get my kids from school at 2:40pm and i couldn't leave it that long and they had no loaner. I told Russell I would come back to have it all checked on my first oil change. He said no problem. I went to a friend's shop who is a service manager to have his techs just look it over. They found it needed brakes and tires need replacing, and said to bring it back to dealer to have them do it for free. I scheduled everything for today as oil change was due. I was given the biggest run around of my life. I have only put 3k miles on it in the 5 months I have had it since I took it off the lot. Here's the responses I received from Russell, Geo, and Tim the sales manager which I'm still trying to resolve. Brakes: They said it's been almost 6 months and they don't know what I've been doing with the car. (again I've only put 3k miles on it because I don't drive often) Tires: denied by Tim, said I should of known the condition and life during the walk around. I explained im not a mechanic I don't know about tread! Geo stated earlier in the convo tires are good for 50k to 60k miles. So how was this car sold like this if tires are good for 50-60 miles? I spent $16k on a car that needs new tires before it's first oil change that I have to pay out of pocket for? I HAVE 2 LITTLE KIDS THAT I PUT IN DANGER DRIVING LIKE THIS! They now agreed to replace battery and rear brakes. Refused tires, and still waiting for call back regarding the other broken items that Geo says has to check if they are under the bumper 2 bumper to give him a hour to call me back. It's now 3 hours no call yet. That should absolutely be covered under the bumper 2 bumper guarantee it's not a wear and tear part! Buyer Beware - Extremely Disappointing Customer Service I'm not usually the type to write reviews, but when service is exceptionally good--or, in this case, exceptionally poor--I feel compelled to speak up. Two weeks ago, I contacted a salesperson at this dealership about a used car I was very interested in. I explained that I was out of the country for a week, but if everything checked out, I was ready to place a deposit to hold the car until my return. The salesperson assured me he would email the out-the-door pricing and details. That day passed--no email. The following day, I called back and voiced my frustration to another salesperson. He seemed understanding and promised to send the information right away. Once again, absolutely nothing. When I returned to Florida yesterday, I made another attempt to salvage the situation and asked to speak with a sales manager to explain my experience and to hopefully make a deal to move forward with buying the car. I was told he was in a meeting but would call me back shortly. That call never came either. In contrast, I've worked with several other dealerships the past few weeks where sales teams go out of their way to earn your business--prompt callbacks, detailed prompt quotes, and respectful follow-ups. The only reason I even considered continuing with this dealership was its proximity to my home in Winter Park. Sadly, this has been the least responsive dealership I've encountered in purchasing over 20 vehicles during my lifetime. Whether it's because the staff is overwhelmed, indifferent due to lack of commission incentives, or simply poor training, something is clearly wrong here. To make matters worse, out of eight dealerships I was in communication with, RC Hill Mitsubishi had the highest dealer fees--almost double compared to the others. That alone makes it worth shopping around. My hope is that the owner of RC Hill reads this and takes action to make some much-needed improvements. A buyer can search the internet by price, by One Owner vehicles, by equipment, by mileage, etc. So, Once landing on the vehicle that best fits their needs, that price, for us, is pre-negotiated. Our lack of follow up was based on your offer and you were not moving on your number which leaves us at a point that fells like there is no deal. Sorry, that we could not come to terms. My only intention was to discuss the high dealer fees associated with the purchase. I was fully approved for a loan through your partner lender, Capital One, and at no time did anyone at the dealership indicate there was a pricing issue. Just wanted to give another 5-star review to this dealership. The employees here are so friendly and knowledgable about Mitsubishi. Appointments are easy to make online and they do try to get you in-and-out as soon as they can. What I appreciate is that every now and then, they come in the waiting room and update you what's happening with your vehicle. They also offer complimentary car washes! My car is always well taken care of here. Special thanks to Omar who has been working with me since last year. I literally only come here if he's taking care of my Mitsubishi. Entered my vehicle to sell online. I was offered $5,600. That was too low so I declined it. The next day, Brittany calls me and asks me what it would take to buy my vehicle. I told her around $7K. I will start off by saying that the owner (Mr. Hill) does not keep his word by returning calls of dissatisfied customers once the deal is done despite stating on this very Yelp page; "If you are not satisfied, I want to jump in and fix our issue on the spot. Don't hesitate to reach me directly" (His GM, Troy closely guards his phone number and refused to give it out multiple times) Mr. Hill is clearly a coward and should not be trusted with your money because my wife has been waiting for a return call from him for two months despite multiple attempts. More importantly, Mr. Hill hires people who are either dishonest, inept, or a dangerous combination of the two. Specifically, I'm referring to Troy, the GM and Eddie, the finance manager. Troy is a special kind of @$$ who calls customers who not just purchased one, but TWO cars from his dealership on the same day "problems from the start". Most people who are asking for money in return for goods don't view their potential customers as trouble, in my experience, but I digress. He also claims that they have the right to essentially ruin their customers' credit because they are "allowed to" run hard inquiries as many times as they want to. Over the course of both my and my wife's life, neither of us have ever encountered a car dealership that runs a hard credit inquiry more than once per person, per transaction. For two vehicles, that would equate to two, but in RC Hill world, they think four would be appropriate. But, I wouldn't want to tell Troy "how to do his job" and "I wont tell you how to do yours" like he snapped at my wife when she was asking why this would be the case. Now, let's talk about Eddie. I don't know if it was his first day on the job, or maybe he just really doesn't care about his customers and their time/money, but Eddie really screwed things up epically. So much so that the Tax Collector's office even asked if this guy was new at his job. 1. He told us that special plates have to go through the Tax Collector. Wrong. They are able to do this from their terminal at the dealership. 2. He told us everything was "good to go" regarding financing for TWO cars when we left. Wrong. He waited until 10 days before the first payment was due for one of them asking for income verification that was already provided, thus screwing up the process of actually paying the credit union on time. 3. They actually had to courier a new temp tag from De Land to Merritt Island because they took so long with getting the tag processed on the other car, and still couldn't get it done before the temp expired. But, it's okay. Troy said that law enforcement "would understand". Not a chance I want to take!!! 4. The topper. Eddie, while getting income verification for the SECOND time, felt it was completely professional to say to my wife; "My goodness that's a lot of money! Can I work for you?!" with several emojis. C'mon, man. We ain't in junior high school. Some of us earn good money. Bottom line is this. Mr. Hill could have saved two scathing Yelp reviews (not that he cares based on what I see already on this page) and additional scrutiny from anyone who will allow us to post about our experience just by simply keeping his word and accepting a phone call. Needless to say, I don't recommend this dealership, and my brand new Mitsubishi will never be serviced by RC Hill, no matter how many free oil changes they give me. read more

The finance person, Eddie, mishandled the license plates and one car did not get tags until after the temporary was expired, the other got the wrong license plates. The payment information was not received until the due date of the first payment. Troy, the GM, was abrasive and misleading in solutions to these problems, even when I reached out in advance of these problems. Eddie, also, made a completely inappropriate comment about my income. If I could give a zero for service, I would. We bought a fully loaded, brand new 2024 Outlander here a few months ago (in 2024), and the salesman, Matt, was awesome. I made a 10am appointment on Wednesday, 8/7/2024, took the day off from work as I figured that it would not be too busy at that time, and showed up at 10:02am. The SUV would not connect to anything involving Mitsubishi Connect. The original salesperson came out to assist me and see if he could diagnose the issue. He could not so my SUV was taken back to service. I was there for 4 hours and kept being told that it was being diagnosed and worked on. After 4.5 hours, I asked what was happening, and no one apparently had any idea and they would have to keep the SUV, which was fine, but I needed to get home and I live 1.75 hours away (South of Kissimmee), and I had no ride home. They did not have a loaner for me (which is what was supposed to be provided in this situation) and told me they would rent a car for me, but regardless of the fact that I live 1.75 hours away and work the rest of the week and could not come back again until Saturday, I was told by the service assistant manager, Omar, that regardless, I had to bring the rental back on the day my vehicle was done. Not Saturday, when I actually could. I was taken across the street to Enterprise to find that I had to pay for the insurance on the rental, so I said nope, walked back across the street to have the SUV put back together, and I would take it to a different Mitsubishi dealership close to my house (I didn't know I could do that until I asked). When I walked back, the service department had already put the SUV back together and parked it out front, not knowing I would be walking back over to get it. They just stopped working on it when I left. I went to a different Mitsubishi dealership on 8/8/2024 when I got off from work, which is just minutes from my house, attempted to call RC Hill Service Department, but was put on hold and hung up on 5x. Finally, my call went to sales, and the salesperson had to walk to service to get Omar to pick up the phone. When he did, I explained that I was at a different dealership and asked if he could explain the situation with the SUV. He got the technician on the phone, who did not know I was standing there, and the phone on the speaker, and the technician proceeded to tell the service manager at this other dealership how I just walked in their dealership (I had an appointment), demanded that they work on my truck. Said I had no patience (I was there almost 5 hours), and then he started to say something about me being a *** and the service manager at the other dealership stopped him and said I only wanted to know about the vehicle. Alana is exceptionally unprofessional, Omar was kind but did nothing; and the technician was also excessively unprofessional and a liar. I will not buy from this dealership ever again and will only take my vehicle there again to do an oil change, as I purchased this service from them and am not allowed to go anywhere else for this service. read more

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!! Where do I start? I purchased my 2018 Jeep Wrangler on April 21, 2020, from RC Hill Mitsubishi. My salesman, Jacob, took me to lunch after I purchased the vehicle and was very avid about me writing a positive review for the dealership - having asked multiple times. After having the car for two days, I noticed my check engine light was on, so I took it to a local Jeep dealership. I had hopes that the issue was covered under warranty, but that was not the case. I then took the car into RC and they reset the check engine light and told me that this issue was fixed. By May 9, the check engine light had come on more than four times, so I knew something was up. I proceeded to take the vehicle to three different dealerships to fix the problem. All three were unable to help. In this timespan under a month of having the car, I called RC ELEVEN times hoping they could assist me by either contacting the Jeep's previous owner or conducting maintenance on the vehicle. On June 16, I was told that I would be contacted by a manager but waited THREE WEEKS with no avail. I called back on July 7 and was told that they would buy the car back because they were unable to fix it. On July 8, I connected with the Jeep's previous owner on social media and he shared that RC had never contacted him as they told me they had. He also told me that RC KNEW ABOUT THE ISSUE when he turned in the vehicle and he explained everything to them beforehand. As I write this on July 18, I have yet to receive an offer from RC on buying back my Jeep. The warranty had been voided on my vehicle, and I now have to pay more than $3,000 out of pocket for an issue that RC was aware of and hid from me to make a sale. Oddly, I am giving them a TWO Stars review, because they were honest.....Specifically, I wanted to buy the cheapest new car available, and they had a Mirage for 14300. I get a 500 Rebate. Taxes are 6-7%. Let's call it around 700. SO for the car and taxes, 14600. Heck, let's call is 15k. My out the door price was OVER 21,000 dollars! Hahahahaha. As I have been shopping for a Mirage for 3-4 weeks, from Florida to Texas - this is several thousand dollars more than ANYWHERE ELSE, like 5-7k more. Now - there isn't ANYTHING "wrong" with this, or even unethical!! I have the emails and they really did completely and from the start tell me it would be over 21k for this car, so again, they are HONEST. When ever I go there service consultant Omar takes good care of me, making me feel right at home. He also lets me know if there are any coupons available so I pay the absolute lowest price for my maintenance, and he will make sure my car is washed and vacuumed prior to returning it to me. I have been in the Automobile industry for 15 years I came in today off a ad on Indeed I drove 1hour 15 minutes as soon as I pulled up I was greeted by a over size sales rep with his shirt hanging outside his pants with the old " Can I Helpya" o have to put it together because that's how he sounded.. I told him I'm here to see Troy he went inside, let me remind you we are under quarantine orders so thinking the interview would be conducted outside, sales rep came back with application saying they just hired someone.. What can I say that everyone else who had a terrible experience hasn't already said - it is the word inappropriate in every sense of the word. Lying and manipulating their way throughout. From the first approach seeing the thug outfits they had on to leaving with the "salesman" shrugging his shoulders when I told him I had no way home. At almost 70 years old I couldn't walk the miles I would have to in order to go home. Fortunately my bank understood and immediately put the money needed. The one "helping" me was a mere 24 years old. He has a lot of growing up to do. The place was messy and needed cleaning. I have never been to a dealership that wasn't pristine throughout.
