When I was first interested in the car I was told I HAD to put a $200 deposit on the car, even though at the time I only wanted to see how the finance would work out and wasn't 100% on this being the car I wanted, but I was told they wouldn't be able to look at the finance until I put the deposit on the car, when I was hesitant to do so (incase I changed my mind) I was assured that if that did happen the deposit would be returned no problem, this wasn't the case. I ended up changing my mind on the car due to multiple reasons and spoke to the dealer (Joe) and explained that I was getting a different car and at the time he was lovely about it and would speak to Lou about getting me back my deposit. After a day I had heard nothing, I sent Joe a text which he ignored, after a second text he proceeded to call me and tell me that he wasn't going to give me the money back because I had supposedly inconvenienced the finance guy (which was definitely not the case at all as I had already spoke to the finance company about changing my mind and they were more than lovely about it) Joe also insisted it was an inconvenience because they could have sold the car in the mean time. I argued that this wasn't what we had agreed upon and he then proceeded to hang up on me and block my calls. I then called Lou and he proceeded to tell me that I had signed a legally binding contract which had a 24 hour cooling off period and that it also had a cancellation fee of $250. At this point I had only signed a privacy agreement for finance which had none of these "supposed clauses" in it. After a 20 minute argument throughout which Lou attempted to convince me that I was legally binded to pay him a cancellation fee he finally agreed to put the money back into my account. All in all this experience was not great, these guys were arrogant, unscrupulous and incredibly rude..... I do not recommend them as a dealer at all.

I received an Australia wide warranty with all of my purchases and i really felt reassured. If I had any questions or needed anything fixed the owner was more than happy to assist. I never had anything major go wrong with all of my cars and the pricing at Beautcars is very competitive compared to most places. Every purchase I have made I have left with a smile on my face and have just traded my old car back into them. Great Service, Great Cars and I would definitely recommend Beautcars as a Car yard you wish to visit for a good quality second hand motor vehicle.

If you don't feel like waiting at the workshop there are plenty of cafes a short stroll away. Leaving your car in for a bigger job? Public transport isn't far, with major bus routes nearby. The waiting area/office has some magazines to read, a small couch and foxtel (although not working on this occasion - no signal). Workshop is clean and appears well maintained. Staff are friendly enough. Credit card facilities are available too.

As lazy people are wont to do, I drove it until it got too bad for me to ignore, then called around for a few quotes. Ultratune came in cheapest by around a hundred bucks, which wasn't half bad, so they won my bidnizz. They serviced my car the very same day I called them up, which was super convenient. He did mention that my brake pads were 80% worn and I could get these replaced for another $76 or so, and initially I said yes but then checked my last service receipt (from another shop) and I'd had my brakes inspected a couple months back, I wasn't sure I really needed these done so I declined. Picked the car up that arvo and she drives as good as new. Is still probably scared of me though. Maybe I should wash her more.

Apart from the endless offers of coffee, time was spent looking at colours, options and at one point a car was brought down from another yard for us to look at. It is a difficult job when you don't have what the customer is after. We were very interested to buy if they could find a car that suited us and were told that there was probably only a couple of thousand in wiggle room in the costing. After getting our costing we went home and did our homework only to see that there were other dealers who had what we wanted and it was at a much reduced price. Out of courtesy, we phoned back and let them know we were going to another dealer. This is where things turned a little sour. The wiggle room turned into a gaping hole and they were up for price matching. This may suit some but did make us think that we never got their best offer up front as perhaps they thought we wouldn't check with other dealers. It felt like more of a policy exercised by this dealership rather than the salesman.

They always seem to make time to service my car, they are attentive to what I need fixed or checked & they are very reasonably priced for the work that they do. T & M have organised all my paper work & check ups since I've had my Toyota Yaris and I won't be taking my car to anybody else. They have extensive experience as mechanics and there isn't much that they haven't seen or fixed in their time. They were even able to fit a reconditioned engine into my old Corolla within days of it breaking down. Not only are they very well priced, the team there work very quickly. Rarely do I have to wait more than a day or two to get my car back, in fact I usually have it back the day of. Not only that, I have dropped my car in from time to time over the past 5 years and everything I have needed done has been completed. The car always feels like brand new when I get it back from T & M Motors and that's more than I expect from my local mechanic.
