So after calling 3 places. We got a hold of ryan with Murphy's concrete. He was able to come out a…read moreday later to give us an estimate. He had the best estimate we got, noticed things the bigger companies didn't notice at all. (Our sewer line, new steps, proper depth and amount of fill dirt.) We were scheduled for 8/23, but on monday 8/21 he called to see if they could get in to frame earlier. We got our frame in, old steps ripped out, sewer line reboxed all in under 2 hours. On weds 8/23 the team showed up at 5:45am (we were not expecting that early but they showed up! A little more communication on that would have helped) they finished in 6 hours with all the finishing work. The entire team were professional, very friendly and well organized. We will definatly call again of we have any other concrete work for them!

UPDATE 2-13-2026: Unfortunately, I feel I need to lower my rating of Murphy's Concrete. I strive to…read moreleave fair, honest reviews and as much as I prefer to leave positive reviews, it would not be fair to those reading my review to not provide the full experience. The concrete was poured November 24 & 25 in 2025. On December 11, we received a Notice of Right to Lien from the concrete supplier that Murphy's used for the project because they had not been paid for the concrete. This was a big surprise as we had paid Murphy's in full on November 25. On January 30, 2026, we received a Notice of Intent to Lien from the same supplier as Murphy's still had not paid for the materials they used on our project. On February 12, the supplier notified us that Murphy's paid the bill that day and there would be no lien placed on our property. The lesson I learned is to find out from the contractor which supplier(s) they will be using and pay them directly. To summarize my experience with Murphy's Concrete: They did good work, their customer communication could use some work, and not paying the supplier in a timely manner resulting in the customer being threatened with a lien on their property is a deal-breaker.

    3D Enterprises - Stemwall ... perfect!

I needed repair work done to a sewer line at the house, and I wanted a cleanout added. Upon…read moredigging out the line, we realized we also needed to change out the water line because in 1965 when the house was built, the water line was put right on top of the sewer line, and I definitely needed a new water line. I called 3D and Connor's father came out. He was super nice, got the info needed and gave me a quote quickly. I kept adding items, like digging to an out building to add water and a cleanout. I already had a permit for a room addition, and easily got one for this additional work. Connor got the Dig people out, and put new sewer and water lines in the correct depth and locations to the street and to the out building. He had to remove asphalt to the outbuilding, and then he covered it back up. When the contractor, Millett, to build my room addition failed to get the concrete for the stem wall lined up (one of many failures), Connor offered to do that, also. Finally, the contractor agreed, and Connor got the job done well and quickly. I'd wished he would have been able to build the whole room addition! After this, I had a guy remove old concrete and replace it. He really screwed it up, and had lied about his license, so Connor will come out today to see how to fix it. I'll get other quotes, too, but I was excited when he saw my request for help on FB and contacted me, as I did not know he also did patios. Connor did a very professional job for me ... twice!

I asked 3D Enterprises for a quote for a gravel install for RV parking and was quoted over $6,000…read morewhich I thought was very high. When I said I wanted to get additional estimates, the rep tried to get me to commit to "starting tomorrow" because they are so busy with work but happen to have a few open days at the moment (this type of commitment pressure is never a good sign). I declined and said I would get back to him after acquiring additional estimates. I spoke with two local excavation companies, both licensed and both in business for 10+ years. They quoted the exact same amount for the job: $2,000. I was a contractor in Los Angeles for over 20 years. Most estimates I received were within 20% to 30% of each other (and the higher the estimate the closer the quote disparity). When someone comes in at 300% over other estimates, it's pretty absurd. It tells you a lot about the character of the person writing the estimate. If you get a quote from this company, make sure you find at least 2 additional quotes otherwise you could be overpaying by 300% or more.
