Will always go to Matt for our sprinkler and landscaping needs. Our sprinkler system had not been working for over 2 years. Our trees are on a drip system and I thought they were mature enough to reach the water table. However, I noticed in 2 out of 3 of my trees there were leaves and branches dying. They were starving for water. I called Matt. He got back to me the same day. The next day he was my house and was able to immediately assess the problem with my sprinkler system and fix it. We're so happy we were able to have Matt come and fix all our sprinkler issues. Apparently the landscapers, who did our yard were not experts in irrigation. Matt explained everything that was wrong and how he fixed it. He was able to quickly adjust and replace sprinklers, fix a leaky drip line, and determine why our tree was dieing - it had one blocked drip line when it should have had three working ones! He set our timers for optimum results. He also advised us on weed control and how to restore our lawn. We look forward to having a green lawn and a healthy tree. We learned so much! Can't sing Matt's praises enough. Contacted him on a Saturday when I discovered there was no water flowing through my drip system; plants were starting to die. He requested a picture of my backflow so he knew what size the pipes were and said he would try to fit me into his already full schedule. We called Matt for an emergency service on a Sunday, and he dropped everything to come and help us (on his birthday, no less!). The pipes to our irrigation shut off valve sprung a significant leak and was flooding the yard, so we had to turn off water to the house while we figured it out. Matt came out, quickly diagnosed the problem and what had likely caused it. He replaced the cracked joint, but also rerouted our pipes to be at the correct angle and alleviate the pressure to prevent the same thing from happening again in the future. Matt is honest, efficient, and has great attention to detail. We got tired of having to rebuild our irrigation manifold after every winter and I saw Matt's reviews and decided to give him a call. We weren't in a state of emergency so we said we could wait - he's a popular guy (and I can see why)! I texted him pix of our manifold, and he was upfront about his rates and how much time he thought it might take. In the end I think it took maybe a couple of hours, and the price was very reasonable. He added a new drain and actually let us know some very handy information about our valves. I don't think we're going to have any more problems with cracking pipes or breaking valves due to winter freeze. We called Matt to get help with a leak we had around the main valve feeding our irrigation system. It was pretty deep down there and we just didn't have time to address it ourselves. He was super prompt getting back to us and was very pleasant to talk to on the phone. We were getting ready to leave town for a long weekend, so we needed to try and meet with him pretty quickly on a Thursday to make sure he was all set to do the work. He was so accommodating in fitting us in and knew exactly what needed to be done right off the bat. We felt completely comfortable leaving for the weekend and knowing he was going to handle the work while we were gone. When we got back we were delighted to see that he not only fixed the problem, but also made sure the rest of the irrigation control system was leak-free. Called to make an appointment and left a voicemail. Matt (the owner) called back very quickly and we set a date for him to come out. I had two issues, one, my lawn just recently began turning brown and appeared to be dying and two, I was not getting the proper water pressure in one area of my yard through my drip system. Matt immediately diagnosed my lawn issue as "brown patch" fungus and then told me what to buy to treat it. Located the fungicide at Lowe's and will use it tomorrow. The drip issue was more difficult. We agreed that the problem was a leak and/or blockage in the area not receiving the water. Matt ended up digging (by hand) under a couple of big bushes and located a leak which he fixed but there was still not enough water pressure. Because the roots had grown all around the main drip tubing. Matt cut the tube and bye passed the problem area which fixed the water pressure issue. Matt ended up spending a couple of hours digging and repairing with outside temperatures around 90 degrees. Matt is very personable and friendly...I highly recommend him for your sprinkler and drip irrigation repairs. read more

I called Countryside based on their favorable reviews. I had two sprinkler valve boxes full of water and I could not determine the exact location of the leak. It took a lot of digging and Matt was able to find a loose PVC elbow on the service line into the valve manifold. It appears the elbow had been dry fitted years ago, but the installer had failed to glue the elbow to bond it. Over the years, the elbow had become loose from water pressure. Matt cut out the elbow and installed and glued a new elbow and my problem was solved. Matt also took the time to explain other things about my sprinkler system that could become issues later. One thing he explained was the person who installed the system had installed anti-siphon valves which are not designed to be installed under the ground in valves boxes. The proper valves should have been inline valves which are designed to be installed underground with valves boxes. Matt charged a very reasonable fee. Matt will do all the dirty digging work, but you can save some money by helping him with the digging which I did. Matt is very knowledgeable about sprinkler installations and I highly recommend him for sprinkler repair. read more

I was interested in extending my drip lines to areas where we didn't have any water. Matt is very knowledgeable about irrigation, drip lines and more. Matt was unable to do dig the trenches for the water line/hose bibs, but once the hose bibs were put in, he has put in dozens of drip lines. He knows what trees need how many emitters and shrubs and flowers need less. He continues to update the lines on the property as I add more trees and plants. He is a life saver. I don't have to spend 6 days a week watering anymore. Matt also found some leaks that we weren't expecting from the values and took care of them right away. Normally my husband turns on the irrigation each Spring and shuts it off in the fall. I will probably have Matt come by in the Spring to check all the valves once we turn them on.
