I always get my birthday ice cream cake from them and they are always kind. This store is always hella busy and I feel bad for the workers but they have great customer service. Word of advice to employees, when you start a customer's order and your friend stops by to gossip you don't stop taking their order, proceed to start gossiping with your friend, ask if he wants to try anything, proceed to take his order then taste it role neglecting the customer family order you started. Cold Stone is always the best for a sweet treat. The service was excellent and the ice cream was superb. I got the mint mint chocolate chocolate chip ice cream creation as seen in the bottom left corner. The signature creations are always to die for and you can never go wrong. We all got the smallest "like it" size which was a perfect size after dinner and came out to about $7. We ate outside since it was a nice night out and we like to people watch since there is always something interesting going on in that parking lot. I'll give the place a solid three stars. The staff was oblivious in what exactly they were supposed to do. Many of them were not too professional but they look like high school people. The queue was extremely long snaking around the car park. Didn't know if it was a proportion on Sunday but it was like they were giving free ice cream which explains the long queue. My favourite usual is our strawberry blonde and went for that one as I wanted just something of a sweet craving. The end result was barely okay as the staff member made it soupy, maybe it got smashed too much. Flavour was there and I always want extra fresh strawberries. I'm a huge Cold Stone fan, but my last experience with them (Antioch location) was the worst! When I walked into the store, it smelled sour as if they had mopped the floor with old mop water. Overall, the store appeared to be clean, but the smell was a bit off putting. Also, the worst of all -- while I was in the process of enjoying my ice cream, I discovered a strand of hair mixed in with the ingredients. I was completely disgusted! I reported the issue to the store right away and asked for a refund. However, because I paid with my card, there was an issue with the merchant reversing the charge, even after the transaction was voided. I later spoke with the manager regarding the issue. I suggested that maybe the staff should wear hair nets when preparing orders. He agreed and confirmed that everyone is suppose to wear a visor during their work shift (but that still won't keep any loose hairs from falling). Though he was receptive and apologetic, unfortunately he was unable to explain the problem with my refund. I had to initiate a dispute with my bank to get the funds back into my account. The store associate and manager did make an attempt to correct the situation, but despite that, I probably won't be going back to this location any time soon. read more

This location only takes online and phone orders right now (05/06/20). So you can't just walk in, look at the menu, and order. I waited much longer than anticipated. Even when my order was ready, they just put it in the freezer, when I already checked in and they knew I was standing/waiting for my order. We had a sound and easy experience here yesterday! Nothing to complain about. The staff was friendly and quick to help and get people through the line. Specifically the ice cream was mixed very well, exactly to my liking. We sat outside and ate. The tables in front of cold stone itself were pretty dirty, so we sat in front of Jamba Juice. I think they were trying to close up and bring their tables inside, so I felt a little rushed, but we were able to finish everything before we had to get up. The Cold Stone location is very close to a large parking lot, easy to find, and lots of parking. So I don't see this ever being a problem! Disappointed in management. I called to order a custom cake. My husband gets the same cake every year. I tried to call it in and was asked to order online. To do a custom cake online wasn't easy for me but I did it. I had payment confirmation. When I went to pick up my cake they didn't have my order nor could explain what happened when I had an email confirmation. The girl tried calling management several times and couldn't get a hold of them. By this point my groceries are in the car now for 20mins in the heat so I told her that I'd be fine with any cake that I can take so I at least have a cake. They just can't get it together. Ordered a cake back in May, showed up to pick it up and they hadn't made it. The solution they offered me was a cake from the freezer at 1/2 price. Fast forward a few months and I ordered a cake to be picked up on 10/23. The employee first offered me the incorrect cake (glad I looked inside the box), but eventually found what looked to be the correct one. Everything looked great until I cut into it at my sons party. The Staff were super nice and they have fast service. Everyone was working hard on a busy Saturday night. Got the cake batter, batter, batter and it was sweeter than a grandma's pie. I had to throw the rest of my cone away it was toooo sweet. I'd been craving cold stone for a long time and finally got to satiate it. Wasn't worth the money for what I got. Maybe next time I'll stick to something basic and then I won't be disappointed. My partners stuff was pretty good but I'd rather just buy ice cream at Trader Joe's. Appreciate how they only offer online orders and practicing safe distancing & safety precautions when picking up your items. Touchless pick up is AWAYS great to see business embracing. 3 stars taken away though for dropping the ball in very important areas. I believe all of us have been there where we are at the drive-through for Taco Bell or McDonald's and as we drive away, we realize they didn't give us straws, chicken McNugget sauce or the missing dessert you're looking forward to. When picking up the order, a tall older Caucasian teen handed me my bag and I asked if this was everything. He quickly said Yes and walked away. I said ,"are there spoons and napkins included in the bag? " He then annoying gave another "yyyyyyyes." I kindly walked away and wished everybody a good day. Got to the car and noticed no napkins or spoons so I handed bag to my GF walked back into store. 2: Same kid is standing by the utensils and before I could even say anything ... as he said, "you need spoons right?" He then walks around the entire counter towards the door and as he get's closer, I commented that I even asked you specifically if there's spoons napkins and you quickly brushed me off. That wasnt cool" He handed me the spoons & walked away. He could've said sorry or apologized for not being competent to complete the order. Or even, "my bad" .would of been suffice......NOPE. Nothing. Like bro; at LEAST own your shit and man up if you made a mistake. I honestly would of respected that and wouldn't be here sharing my experience to Yelpers. Oh well, Maybe he's having a bad day or he's miserable working on a Sunday?
