Not having a great day with food today. After a truly horrible lunch, I figured I'd stop by Dairy Queen to grab an Oreo blizzard. Service was quick and friendly enough but once I got to the car to eat it, the milk tasted like it was spoiling and had a bad aftertaste. The Oreos masked this taste at first, but then it became more obvious as I ate more of it. I've been to this location multiple times before and never had an issue, but this was strange. I used to work at Dairy Queen (not this one) and I know the only way the ice cream would be spoiling is if the cream mixture wasn't stored properly. As much as I generally love Dairy Queen, I won't come back here for a very long time, if ever again. I read a few other reviews from a year ago and they said something similar. If, despite multiple reports of spoiled cream quality, they can't rectify this issue, then they should be shut down. The only saving grace was that when I reported it to the kid working behind the counter, he offered me a refund and said he would check it. read more

Dont use there app cause they told me themselves sometimes it give it to 2 different door dash and gave my food to the "supposed"door dash guy i never received my food and they denied me my refund. till this day I paid for someone else to eat my food. I've always heard of Dairy Queen, but never tried it. But today was so hot, my sister and I craved ice cream, and we decided something new. Dairy Queen itself was a nice experience. The place itself here in Antioch is small, with the menu outside, and a pretty large line. I never mind because it must be worth it :) My sister went with a Snickerdoodle Blizzard, while the limited time Wonder Woman Blizzard was my go to once I saw it My great composed of chocolate pieces, peanuts and vanilla ice cream was Off the bat, the blizzards were exactly what we craved For medium size though, it is very generous in portion, so we couldn't even finish it. I would consider getting a small. Besides what I got, Dairy Queen also offered cones, slushees and food! I'll try to check in again, but when I'm around Antioch again, since I don't live close, and nothing too special would make this location a top 3 in my ice cream list. Ordered two Blizzards last night. The milk or something making up the Blizzard must have been bad as both tasted completely rotten. We had already pulled away by the time we tried them so it was $13 completely wasted as we threw both of them away. The menu still shows Valentines Day and St. Patrick's Day options as the advertised Blizzards, and many of the items were hand written that they were "sold out". I've been to many Dairy Queen's and this one can certainly use some help to get the menu updated and the food tasting better. Sad we didn't get to enjoy our Blizzards. read more

Grew up coming here as a treat and remembered that it was still around. It is still just as good and perfect to meet your fast food craving that is also pretty affordable for a whole meal. The fries and chicken tenders are the best and even came with buttery Texas toast!! The staff are also really nice. Can't wait to come back on another cheat day. We were passing through town and munchies hit the car, so someone found this Dairy Queen and we made our way there. The visit turned out to be interesting. We pulled up and I looked for how to get inside. Fail - there is no inside. There are tables outside, if you are interested in getting a suntan in the blazing heat (I personally don't need one), or getting sopping wet if it's the winter time. Are all Dairy Queens outside seating only? I wasn't too impressed the caliber of people walking the area either, it seems to be located in a place where you better keep your eyes open but non-confrontational. Food. The drinks and sundaes were tasty but nothing exceptional. The fries were meh. Those that got burgers were quite happy with their choices and gobbled them up. I got chicken strips and was very disappointed (but we were down the freeway by the time I discovered this), tasting overly artificial (cause are any fast food place's chicken strip things "real"?) to the point that after eating one I threw the rest away later. Service. Top notch. The man at the window was very friendly, he was very detailed in taking the order and taking the time to make sure he had it all correct. We all really appreciated that, especially in light of how many time we've been to other fast food locations and found they messed the order up. It's unlikely that this Dairy Queen location is going to pick everything up and move, equally unlikely that they'll remodel and make indoor seating. So just know what to expect when you come here. I haven't been here in a very long time. I should stop by more often since it's getting hot out here. Their menu had a lot of delicious items, I wasn't sure what to order. I ended up getting the star spangled blizzard. It's a mini size which was perfect for my sweet tooth. It had vanilla and topped off with rock candy, a small popsicle that was a shape of a star was placed on top. This was a limited release item for July 4th. It was sooo good that we had to come back so my son could have one. The presentation was beautiful, it was an older Asian lady that made it. I think it might of been the owner's wife? The owner was there training a new hire when we made our first order which was around 2pm. When we came back for seconds, it was around 5, maybe close to 6pm. I love coming to this location. I had been coming here since I was a kid. The best thing to do is go after a long day of boating on the delta or a hot day of fruit picking. This is along the back roads home so you get to enjoy the scenic route and enjoy a nice ice cream. I have only gotten ice cream here but the prices are cheap and really reasonable. This last time coming in our cone was not dipped so great. It had leakage and was bursting from the chocolate. Really just a hot mess. Still really great and yummy and refreshing. I have literally been coming here my whole life. This place has never changed. There's a small parking lot on the side but there's also street parking. There are like 6 tables where you can sit at. The prices is very affordable and they have a big selection of items. The banana split is what I always get. I've never had any type of meal here only ice cream. Honestly I'm glad this place is on the other side of town from where I live, cause I'd weigh 300lbs by now if it was closer. A small building, typically for take out, though they do have a couple of tables outside, not covered. They often have new ice cream and Blizzard combination/themes to try, as well as themed containers, such as ones with Avengers characters on it when a new Avengers movie comes out, which is fun for kids (and some adults I suppose). The food is underwhelming, but hey, it's dirt cheap, and if you're coming to Dairy Queen for the food, you're coming for the wrong reasons. This spot is the perfect fun, tasty, after dinner treat that you load the kids up in to the van and visit as a family, everybody getting something that sounds good to them. Staff is super friendly, and have given me or my wife freebies from time to time, which is something a customer ALWAYS remembers. Not many parking spots, but the place usually isn't very busy anyways, so it's not a problem. Here for the new Fall Themed Blizzards! They only had 4 of the 5 advertised flavors. But the ones they had were fantastic! Pumpkin Pie, Harvest Berry Pie, Heath Bar Caramel Brownie, and Snickers! They didn't the Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough. This location can get very busy, and because of that, a bit slow. They usually do a great job of keeping the place clean. read more
