Closed on Sunday at 4pm, we were unable to pick up our prepaid order. I couldn't get a hold of anyone, and there was no courtesy call. They gave a us refund, however Jasmine was extremely rude and unhelpful. So sad that they couldn't take the time to give us a reminder call, of early closure on Sundays. Service was pitiful!! Girl taking orders and bagging desserts was constantly wiping her nose. There was no one in front of me. I ordered a individual Bundt cake and asked if she could do the birthday wrap on it and she told me it would just be maybe five minutes and literally 20 minutes went by and I said just give me a refund and she said no I can only offer you Store credit and I said I don't want Store credit. I want my money back and she said I don't have Access to the register to give you your money back and I said well somebody here does and some little snip from the back who should've been out there helping her because she had a line to the door. The whole 20 minutes I was there came in again tried to give me a store credit, which I obviously will never go back there. The memory I have of this place is not the same as what I experienced more recently. I'm a little older so maybe it's just that I expected a little more and their prices are outrageous however for the birthday girl you get a free bundtlette which is great. I brought a couple extra because it's also my husband's birthday and that evening we sing happy birthday with the bundt cake. I tried their bundlet cake for my free birthday treat! I signed up for all the area freebies for my birthday to treat myself. They sent me a coupon and email for this special reward. You get to pick from their vast array of selections-all looked scrumptious! I wanted the Valentine's special think with strawberries and cream or strawberry dipped in chocolate but they were out. So I got the lemon raspberry one which reminded me of the Starbuck's lemon loaf except the bundt cake was moister and tasted even better with raspberries added to it. I can't wait to try the carrot one next time and the strawberry one. Note it is more so on the sweeter side-very sweet. Usually I do not like it that sweet, but this was still good. I came in the other day and immediately appreciated that they weren't understaffed - there were employees at both registers helping guests as soon as they came in. What is the point of doing an online order when it's not even ready when you arrive to pick it up? I ordered early in the morning at around 7:30am and my order wasn't ready at 6:00pm. When I arrived, one customer was leaving and it was just me. While I was waiting I asked the lady why it was taking so long and she didn't have an answer. Then she asked me if I wanted her to check? Everybody raves about these cakes but they're alright to me. It's like a box cake that's been "hooked up". Also kinda reminds me of the lil 7up n lemon cakes you can buy in the Safeway deli. The Red Velvet was not good at all tho. Had chocolate chips in it. Not a real velvet cake. They're good in a pinch but over priced and just mediocre. Their flavors are carrot, chocolate chocolate chip, vanilla, confetti, lemon, marble, pecan praline, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry. They also have gluten free chocolate chip cookie. I love their cakes. My favorite is the red velvet and the chocolate. I love getting their bundtinis (cupcakes). Their cakes are very moist and just the right amount of sweetness. I placed an order ahead of time for mother's day cake curbside pick up. We got there and the line was wrapped around the building. I called and asked if I need to get in line or will someone bring the order to me in the car because it's a curbside pick up. The lady said we will bring it to you. 30 mins had passed and we are still waiting.. another 30 mins had passed.. ok where the heck is order? I know they are overwhelmed but they turned off their phone in the store, another 30 mins passed, then I hear someone yelling and saying they are no longer doing curbside pick up! ‍ Everybody needs to get in line to get their order! Totally not fair for people who placed an order and expecting a curbside pick up!! I had no choice but to get out of the car and get line! I kind of got lucky because they change the line formation and basically they moved the line at a different direction and almost everybody that was on that line had to walk a different line, I ended up being the 5th person to wait.. The wait for a curbside pick up is ridiculous! it ended up to be a pick up order inside the store with no social distancing guidelines! Yes they are wearing masks but they are working like it's a normal, you can come up to the register and be close to the cashier? I I will never ever order from this store again! Seriously, I try to support businesses during these hard times. I can wait but i'm more frustrated on how the staff handled the orders. It wasn't planned properly, 2 workers running around trying to find someone who's picking up their order realizing they are not there and ended up wasting 10-15 mins. Why can't they go to the cars and ask for their order and get their order? Not run around and look for someone who's not even there! read more
