I ordered online and came to pick up my order at 7:10 pm after receiving confirmation it was ready at 7:05 pm. When I got here they said they gave it to a driver. I had to explain and show them on my phone I was coming to pick it up. They took everyone order in the store before they gave me my order. I've never built my own ice cream before so I knew I had to. I went pretty crazy with toppings. I got a chocolate base with cookie dough, Oreo, Reese's peanut butter cup, and hot fudge. I got it in a love it size. The love it size is a medium cup and was the perfect amount. This was one of the best ice creams I've ever had! It was incredible! The cookie dough was in huge chunks and stood out most from everything! The Reese's were hard and I got hints of peanut butter from every bite! The crunch of that Oreo was amazing and the hot fudge was mixed in towards the bottom. The chocolate ice cream was soft and rich for being hard ice cream! I had a great experience at cold Stone building my own ice cream and I can't wait to make more crazy creations! read more

I love cold stone! I haven't been to cold stone in a couple of years and was so excited to Have some good ole fashion cookie dough ice cream! I ordered dough for it which comes with cookie dough ice cream, chocolate chips, cookie dough pieces and sugar crystals. It was absolutely Devine!! We had a large order delivered on Wednesday with Door Dash. Not only was the order missing items, the ice cream was all liquid. I know we are having a heat wave but come on. They put it in a bag, not a box. It was truly a mess. Our order was $85.00 We called to tell her about the missing ice cream and that it was a liquid mess. Would love to give a zero review, the owner doesn't know how to properly pay people. To people who order cakes, chances are your cakes might be messed up, and your money might be stolen from the little girls they rehire that were fired before because they stole your cake money. There's this trick some of the girls that were fired do by ringing up your cake, deleting the thing on the system, and then pocket your money themselves. They rehire people who are willing to steal from the registers, and fire people for no reason before their shifts. The owner literally refuses to pay for what is needed in the store, doesn't care if the ice cream is like soup, and even paid people later than supposed to be. He's even said that if people don't clock in to the new app they use, they won't get paid. Don't work here and please please please don't go here! Yellow Brick road has much better ice cream that isn't soup! Speaking from someone who worked here and had to threaten to sue to be able to get paid. Also, they shouldn't accuse people for doing something they didn't do but then get mad if something they made a mess with gets brought up and they get called out for it. read more

Really surprised to see how few and how poor the reviews are if this cold stone. I've been coming here since I was a child and have never had one bad experience here. My grandfather owned a famous ice cream shop on rt 9 in freehold so I grew up around ice cream and have always sought the best ice cream whenever I'm out and about. I've had award winning ice cream here, best in x county there and but to me nothing beats the creaminess and richness of the ice cream that cold stone serves. I recently had a Gender Reveal for my pregnancy. We have gotten Coldstone cakes from Brick many times in the past, so we thought an ice cream cake would be perfect to find out the gender of our baby. I reached out 3 weeks in advance to make sure that this is something they would do for me. After calling 3 times and requesting to speak to a manager, since the girls that picked up the phone didn't know the answer to my question, I was put on the phone with the owner. I explained what I would be looking for, and she said she would be able to make our cake. She told me the date to place the order and even gave me her cell phone number to place the order, which I forwarded to my friend who would be ordering the cake. My friend reached out on a Saturday, as requested, and then continued to call and follow up each day until Wednesday. The owner only wrote "ok" as her response each time, even if my friend was asking a clarifying question. We were all set to pick up our cake in Brick on Friday, as far as I knew... Before going to get the cake, I called the store to ensure my cake was ready. The girl on the phone said she would check, but then a voice in the background yelled, "All of today's cakes are ready for pick-up." She did not go to look for my specific cake, but I got in my car and drove 40 minutes to get my cake anyways. We went to pick up the cake only to find out that it wasn't there. They asked me to describe the cake, which I did, and I also said I spoke directly to the owner. The people in the store reached out to the owner, and she said, "I forgot to make the cake." No one apologized for the cake not being ready when it was supposed to be. Instead, they said the cake would be ready on Saturday, the day of my reveal, and made us pay for it before leaving. I was nervous that the cake wouldn't be ready on time, so I decided to call the owner directly to get the exact pick up time for Saturday. I left her a voicemail, and she called back within a few minutes. I started the conversation out by stating, "I am the mother-to-be, and I do not want to discuss the cake at all. I only want to know what time to pick up my cake." The next words out of her mouth were, "Okay so it's a yellow cake with pink ice cream." I cut her off stating again that I am the mom to be, and asking why she would tell me that information that I did not want to know? I informed her again that she had spoken to my friend, and I only wanted to know the time pick-up time. I told her she ruined this entire experience for me and, instead of apologizing, she laughed!! She said, "haha haha okay okay... so how am I decorating the cake again?" My friend had sent her detailed texts with pictures, and she had NO clue how to decorate my cake at all!! Not only did the owner of the store ruin my surprise, but she also put so much food dye in the cake that it was completely inedible. The entire cake had to be thrown out and there was no dessert for my family. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with ordering a dessert, especially one that was meant to be such a special surprise. Do not order from here, unless you want your special day to be ruined as well!!!!! read more

if i could rate this zero stars, i would. i went in at 8 pm and asked for a waffle cone with my ice cream and they said they didn't have anymore because they were "closing in a couple minutes" the girl stated. they still had a full hour of service left considering the store closed at 9 . the young lady that helped me then developed an attitude and to add to that, she was wearing headphones while taking orders. the music in the store was blasting. the store was filthy, especially with covid-19 going on they need to be 10x more careful. absolutely disgusting. i will NOT be returning nor do i reccomend. read more
