We've been going to Coldstone for years and although overall most have greatly declined, this location was exceptional. It was clean. Three associates were available. My wife and I stopped at this location after noticing it was finally open. It was about 3pm on a weekday and there wasn't any other customers in the store. The young lady was patient with us as we decided what ice cream we wanted and she served us quickly after our order was given. I had the Germanchökolätekäke ice cream which I thought was pretty good. I didn't get a very large portion because I know I'd over eat. Writing this review actually makes me want to go back real soon. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The store also has a variety of other sweets to choose from if you're not wanting ice cream. The only thing that might be a problem is finding a place to park. I don't think the people that designed the strip even thought about parking. If you're looking for a different spot to try some ice cream,, check this place out. I have been here many times before COVID. Due to COVID, this Cold Stone Creamery will not let the customers sit inside. Because of this, their customers have to sit in the sweltering summer heat with dirty tables outside. Despite their neighboring establishments being opened up for inside dining, Cold Stone Creamery still turns away customers from sitting inside. I am very disappointed. read more

Like many residents of St. Mary's County, I was excited to see a Cold Stone had opened up. Sadly, I had a horrible experience, not with my purchase, but what I was charged. My purchase came to $7.50, but I saw I was charged $9.50 for the same purchase. Please be very cautious at this place if paying with anything but cash. Now I have to work with my bank to get my $$$ back. Needless to say, I won't be going here ever again. If employees are writing in tips that customers do not give, I don't want to be a customer! I'm uploading a pic of my receipt as well as a snip directly from my bank that shows I was charged an additional $2. Even if I did tip, I would have just left cash. Please beware! read more

I love Coldstone and I'm excited we now have one locally. Unfortunately they have been bombarded with what every new establishment in St. Mary's suffers from "the masses" which means, Long line and wait time during peak dessert hours. I don't mind the wait, but I also try and time it correctly to when there isn't a long line (For those who aren't fans of lines). I have frequented this location on an almost weekly basis since they've opened. I always hear "Welcome to Coldstone!" and even when they are busy they still offer a sample taste. I've had nothing but positive experiences. YAY Coldstone! I highly recommend their Ice cream cakes too! Yum! I also have a friend with a peanut allergy order, all you have to say is you have an allergy and they will use new spades and mix it separately. There is never a guarantee that you won't have a reaction, but they do go out of their way to try and make it possible. read more

They made our order wrong twice in a row! We had ordered 4 different flavors and they only made 2 of the 4 orders. We had to drive back to retrieve the other 2 orders that were missing. We get back and still the 2 retrieved orders were incorrect. Never again. How hard is your job? read more

I understand that this establishment is new and recently opened a couple weeks ago, but there is several things that need to be addressed: 1.) The length of time it takes to get your ice cream is ridiculously long. I mean PAINFULLY long. If the line is at the door, you are waiting at least 30 minutes until you get to the counter. It seems like there is no urgency on part of the staff to expedite the line. It takes at least several minutes for staff to simply add ingredients and mix up the ice cream. And if you got 15 people in front of you in line, you're going to be there a while. Shouldn't take more than a minute maybe two tops to scoop some ice cream and add toppings and mix it up. 2.) Staff seems to be very disorganized. I've been to other cold stone creameries where there was more of an assembly line, where one person scooped ice cream, handed it to the next person who makes the ingredients, who than passed it off to the next person who might be the cashier. That doesn't happen here. Each employee scoops ice cream and then is running around for ingredients, then fighting for a place to mix the fixings. 3.) Staff customer service is poor. At no time is there any apology for the long wait. And instead of focusing on getting the order right (Which both times I've gone so far they missed one ingredient), they're more concerned about talking about whatever party they're going to that night. Typically I wouldn't mind or expect more from a bunch of teenagers, but the wait is so long it tends to get on your nerves. The most recent time I went, my party of three had just received our ice creams and waited another three or four minutes before anyone came to the register to finish our transaction. No apology. The young man seem disinterested and not even sure how to ring us up properly. To be honest I'd rather go to Brewsters. Better customer service, in my opinion better tasting ice cream. read more

The staff is polite, courteous, and friendly and I recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic ice cream and fantastic service! The staff is obviously still in training but they are learning quickly and picking up everything they are supposed to do! Highly recommend this place definitely worth checking out! read more

I love this Cold Stone Creamery. The female manager is always pleasant and so professional each and EVERY TIME we visit. The professionalism from each staff member here has always been so pleasant. They have the best customer service. Now let me get to my favorite.. the Ice Cream and Apples.. Can you say the Best! And unlike Brusters in Hollywood that cost the same and they only give you half of the product. SMH! They never run out of my ice creams. All of the Carmel apples are amazing!! My only complaint is that they are now my addiction. I recommend them always. read more
