5.27.25: it was my first time visiting this location. I had lunch nearby at Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese and afterwards wanted something sweet. Since it was a nice warm day, ice cream sounded great to cool off. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. I hadn't been to Cold Stone in quite some time but my favorite is the Birthday Cake Remix. It has cake batter ice cream with mix ins of rainbow sprinkles, fudge, and brownie chunks. And of course I got it in a waffle bowl. Love that they make their waffle bowls in-house. They're thick, sturdy, and really yummy--like a fortune cookie but sweeter. Plus, it's always fun watching your ice cream being made before you eyes. I'm happy I chose Birthday Cake Remix as it was just as delicious as I remembered. I didn't catch the employee's name, but she was really nice and appeared to be the only one working while I was there. The store was clean and brightly lit and it wasn't very busy. They have a seasonal special that looks delicious and will likely try that next time (see pic). read more

Horrible service and management is awful. There's so many better options in CDA. Pick any of them for a better experience. Literally any of them would be better. Panhandle- amazing service! Thanks to Cold Stone for saving the day! My daughter requested a Dairy Queen ice cream cake for her birthday, as my grandchildren love the fudge crunch middle. Not my preference, but whatever. Ordered on line several days prior to pick up day, received receipt and confirmation by e mail. Sent my husband to the Hayden location and they said they didn't have the order. Screenshot sent to husband for reference and they had not made cakes for 4 orders according to the MOD. No cake decorator available for 5 days. Cold Stone personalized a cake in 5 minutes and saved the day. Much better ice cream cake anyhow. Employee was very friendly and helpful. Also knows how to answer the phone professionally. It ice cream is great, but, the girl worker packed my "pint" of vanilla too light. My first scoop revealed air pockets. I punched it down and the level just kept getting deeper and deeper. I really bought 2/3 pint + air for the price of a whole pint. Verify before you tip. read more

You can't go wrong with ice cream from here. The service was GREAT, Me and my boyfriend walked in and all three employees working this afternoon. greeted us right away asked if we needed anything for them to start on. I order the cheesecake fantasy and my boyfriend ordered he's. They where very friendly and asking us what we had planned. They made the visit very pleasant. Ice cream is always great from Cold Stone. No complaints. Expensive but what can you do? Dairy queen is expensive too and it's not even ice cream. I find this location kinda gross though. Grimey. A bit smelly. Loud. Seating is cramped and uncomfortable. Outside seating is fine and it's a nice area in a fake little town square / Potemkin Village situation. Service is hit or miss. I mean, times have changed and it's tough to find 17 year olds wanting to work really hard and fake shitloads of glee simultaneously, especially in this job-seekers market when you can make $18.50/hour pushing a cart around Walmart with your earbuds in. This is a small store with 3 tables inside and a small area outside for seating. I stopped in here after my movie to grab something sweet. It's been awhile since I've been in a Cold Stone so it took me a minute to look over all the yummy creations that they have posted on the wall. I usually do the Founders Favorite when I do visit a Cold Stone but opted for the Coffee Lovers in the Love It (Med) size cup this time. It didn't take them long to make it and I was sitting happy at one of the tables enjoying the big chunks of heath bar, roasted almonds and caramel all mixed up in delicious coffee flavored ice cream!! So good!! The place was really clean and the employees were friendly. They have pre made cakes ready to take home in a freezer case along with some other treats and ice cream pre packed. You can also order ice cream cakes from a book as well. I'll definitely be stopping by here again after I see another movie. This place rocks!! read more

Worst ice cream spot in CDA!!! How many times have I come here only to wait in line FOREVER? Too many to count. This place has gone downhill. The boys that are employed there are incredibly rude. They apparently don't have chocolate ice cream on a Saturday night lmao shout out the girls that work there, they actually ask you questions, make sure you're all done with your order, and they even put the LIDS on it for to go orders. Well this was one of my favorite places but what has happened to the service. Went there tonight. Ordered pretty simple request. French Vanille with blueberries and marshmallows with chocolate chips. Took her 3 tries to understand what i was saying. Finally she got it. Got 3 blueberries. That's it. Load of marshmallows and a few chocolate chips. No friendliness at all. Really disappointed. I was hesitant to stop here after reading a couple reviews on the service, but my addiction left me no choice. Apparently the staff issue has been dealt with. The young man who served me was fast, friendly, and efficient, and even seemed to enjoy is job. And as usual, I enjoyed a cup of the best ice cream ever made. The Cheesecake flavor is my current favorite because it's the gift that keeps on giving. Wow. I came in on mother's day. Horrible. We where not greeted my the girl behind the counter. She look like she hated her job and was miserable. While making my husbands ice cream she ate one of the peanut butter cups. The store kept getting busy and no one was coming to help her. While we where there and employee came out got a cup of sprinkles, claimed she would be right out, didn't come out. A young man kept coming out but dissappearded. I took my daughter into the Cd'A Coldstone for a special treat, the guy had an attitude when I asked to put toppings in her kid scoop. He had already put the ice cream on a cone even though we were deciding which topping she wanted and instead of taking it off and mixing it in (the delicious way coldstone is known for) he grabbed a few toppings and stuck them into the icecream and rolled it in some sprinkles, all while continuing to not be friendly at all.
