    12 oz chai

Came here around 1 PM on the Friday after thanksgiving. The bakery wasn't too full but quite a few patrons hanging out or working. I got in line to order and it took some time but all the workers were incredibly nice and helpful and patient! I ordered a chai, and the person taking my order asked me if I wanted it spiced so I said yes. I also ordered their cranberry turkey sandwich special. The drink and food came out very quickly. The chai had a nice touch of spice so I'm glad I got it "spiced". The sandwich was also quite good! It was warmed, and the touch of sweet from the cranberries complemented the turkey well. The bakery itself has a great atmosphere. Tons of light, plenty of seating, both tables, couches, and single bar seating. Really pleasant place to grab some food or drinks in the area!

The bakery is right across the Library. They offer a plethora of pastries, cookies and more. I personally was not impressed with the coffee but the muffin i got was good. The seating area is very large and there is inside and outside seats available. The customer service was ok.

Food and service was great pizza, sausage/egg muffin, lattes and fresh brewed coffee for our party and everyone enjoyed their meal and drink. Lots of seating outside which isn't great for chilly days but for warmer days makes it a great day to sit and watch the park activity. We visited after the spring dash at the park and enjoyed our time! Will visit again!

I'll start with the negative. They should've named this place "The Lakery." Big miss, but hey, you win some you lose some. Now for the positives. Lucky for them, their lack of naming skills was cured by their delicious breakfast sandwiches and tasty parfaits. We yelped this place after spending time as a family at the park below. This little lakeside cafe has more than just pastry's and coffee. We enjoyed the full array; chocolate macaroons, egg and cheese sandwich (plus bacon), and a couple of parfaits for the kids. All was good. Seating is ample. Follow the signs past the oddly placed refrigerators (no, it's not grab and go, it's literally their refrigerators) to the order line. We loved viewing the pastries before ordering. Definitely recommend.

Enjoying my Chai Tea out on the patio ar Bakery by the Lake!

Good place to grab a coffee and a pastry. Service is usually quick and the outdoor seating is amazing in the warmer weather.

Do they have any gluten free breakfast items?

Yes, they have delicious gluten-free options, but they are made in a bakery that also has gluten so use your own judgment.

It feels very open with a long wooden table in the center and tables on the side wall and by the window with a few couches at that end. Turmeric chai was bomb! Lightly sweet with a light turmeric ginger flavor. And best of all it was caffeine free!! So great anytime of day or for those sensitive to caffeine like me. 8oz was $6 so that is steep for the smallest size but it was good enough I'd come back for it when in the area again. They are known for there hand pies so had to try one of those! I got the mixed berry since they were out of there most popular huckNberry and it was good, pretty sweet for me in the morning so wish I had tried a savory one but had good flavor and flaky crust. I bet the chicken pot pie one is really good in that crust. My friend got a seasonal Latte with pecan I believe and liked it a lot. Coffee forward which put the spotlight on the flavor / quality of the beans which she liked a lot. Anywho I'd stop by again

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this shop. It has a very warm and welcoming feel, with tall ceilings that make the space feel open and airy. When I first arrived it was quite busy, filled with families laughing and enjoying their time together, which created a lively and friendly environment. As someone who is more introverted, the crowd was a bit overwhelming at first, but it eventually cleared out and became a very comfortable place to relax. The staff were also incredibly kind. Since I had never tried a macaron before, I ordered a rose macaron to taste, and it was absolutely delicious. They also gave me a complimentary sample of their coffee, which was excellent. It was the house blend. And the bags they sell are very reasonably priced. The café is very well priced, with drinks ranging the $5-8 mark, and the foods ranging $3-8- and the quality of the food and drinks are quite rich in taste! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back.
