I provided a complete address AND instructions that they be delivered to the apartment building's desk. They delivered them and dropped them ON THE GROUND outside random apartment complex door. When my son finally located them, cookies were missing (of course) and the remaining cookies and box were covered in ants (as you'd expect for food left outside on the ground). Bad as that is, when I called the store to let them know, the person who answered the phone immediately got nasty with me, telling me it wasnt their fault because they had Door Dash deliver them. When I tried to talk to her about how I didn't order through Door Dash and it's not my problem that they have a poor delivery process, she raised her voice, now yelling, that it's not her problem and that she won't do anything about it. I know she heard me and just kept walking. Like just pretended I didn't exist. If your team is going to treat customers like they're an inconvenience for asking for something as basic as a condiment, then at the very least there should be self-serve stations available. That way, customers don't have to feel like they're bothering your staff just to get what they already asked for. I get its fast food and no one cares, but like these people are getting paid and are just assholes for no reason.
