You want to go on a field trip, go to Mountaineer. There is no indoor seating. I would not be able to bring Grandma with her walker. She would not be able to navigate the narrow, cluttered aisles. It is an outing not to be missed.

When I say this place is unique you just have to visit. It's packed to the walls with inventory. I think they have more fishing gear than two Cabellas or Bass Pro shops combined. For sure the most selection of diverse fishing lures and equipment I have ever seen. My daughter suggested it when I said I wanted ice cream. It took me awhile just to decide to get our ice cream because I was busy looking at everything they to offer. There is so much inventory that you can't get down some isles without moving things out of the way. Now the Ice cream. They have probably fifty flavors. Okay maybe not quite that many but if you can't find what you want you don't want ice cream. Just go home. Lol. I wanted the grasshopper mint with chocolate but it must be so popular because they was out. So I settled for a double scoop of raspberry chocolate chunk and my daughter got a single scoop of play dough. Ice cream that is. Lol. And we got the pups a cup of vanilla. I mean what furry friend doesn't like a pup cup. It was really really good. I forgot to get a pic of my cone as my hands were kinda full. Did I mention you can order food to eat? Yep. They offer a menu of food. Great place and friendly staff. A must visit.

If I could give ZERO stars I would!…read more I ordered cookies to be delivered to my son for first day of classes. I provided a complete address AND instructions that they be delivered to the apartment building's desk. They delivered them and dropped them ON THE GROUND outside random apartment complex door. When my son finally located them, cookies were missing (of course) and the remaining cookies and box were covered in ants (as you'd expect for food left outside on the ground). Bad as that is, when I called the store to let them know, the person who answered the phone immediately got nasty with me, telling me it wasnt their fault because they had Door Dash deliver them. When I tried to talk to her about how I didn't order through Door Dash and it's not my problem that they have a poor delivery process, she raised her voice, now yelling, that it's not her problem and that she won't do anything about it. When she stopped, I asked her if she was actually yelling at ME for a terrible delivery and customer experience. She hung up on me! (She should be immediately FIRED!) I will NEVER even consider Insomnia Cookies again nor will everyone me and my son/his friends tell about this awful customer service experience.

After 3-ish minutes we hear someone say "I'll be right with you" so we waited... and waited... and waited. After almost 10 minutes and just saying "hello" we heard nothing, so we drove off. Everywhere else was about to close and truly, I wanted a shake. So we went to one of the stalls and pressed the button and heard back within the minute of a girl saying she'd be right with us, hoping it wasn't going to be the same issue, we waited again. Thank goodness she took our order within a minute and we were finally waiting for our order to come out. After 5 minutes our shakes came out and it felt like a miracle. Except it wasn't. One of our shakes was good, exactly what was ordered (Strawberry Cheesecake Cream Cooler). Our other one the (Peppermint Brownie Bark Shake) was the biggest disappointment. It was literally just vanilla ice cream with bits of peppermint on the top. It wasn't even blended, like come on. All in all, I would've gone to Chick-Fil-A for a peppermint shake, if it wasn't Sunday.

I asked for ketchup when placing my order, and not only did I not receive any, but when I politely asked a staff member who walked by, she blatantly ignored me. I know she heard me and just kept walking. Like just pretended I didn't exist. If your team is going to treat customers like they're an inconvenience for asking for something as basic as a condiment, then at the very least there should be self-serve stations available. That way, customers don't have to feel like they're bothering your staff just to get what they already asked for. I get its fast food and no one cares, but like these people are getting paid and are just assholes for no reason.
