I came on Black Friday after shopping at 7:30pm There was 2 people working and one customer in the store when we arrived. The guy was sweeping and the girl was helping the customer in front of us. We waited and waited, the guy never stopped sweeping to offer to help us. The line became longer about 8-10 customers behind us and the girl was the only one making ice cream. We actually had to ask if we could be served and the guy had the worse attitude about having to do his job that he is being paid to do! The guy was constantly mumbling to the girl, who eats ice cream when it's this cold out. We ordered ice cream and a smoothie, and the smoothie was disgusting. It tasted like a barely fruity protein shake. We told the girl we didn't want it. I don't think she liked that too much, with the face she made to the guy. After paying, I said thank you, and did not receive a response to that. I use to love this location but the service went way down hill! It's a real shame! Employees can make or break a company! After quickly helping the customers behind us on line, both the guy and girl disappeared into the back, for at least 10 minutes, only reappearing when other customers came into the store. I normally prefer their sweet cream ice cream with a raspberry mix in, but occasionally can be tempted by a unique flavor (such as pumpkin pie with a graham cracker pie crust mix in.) Yum! My son's a peanut butter freak, so it's peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter and crumbled peanut butter cup mix ins. His birthday cake last year was from here and was a chocolate cake with peanut butter ice cream with reeses cup mix in's on top. Now, these evil people have created ice cream cupcakes. Seriously, check the website. Smallish cake/ice cream/icing confections that have me this close to driving there RIGHT NOW to eat one. Of course with that much sugar I'd need to run all the way back home, but it may be worth it. Hmm, raining. I'll pass for now. Cold Stone has always been one of my favorite places to go for ice cream. However, over the years with yogurt shops becoming more popular, I've seen more Cold Stone's around me closing than I have opening. This location is one of the last few around me- and I don't forsee it closing anytime because it is always crowded when I go. Just like most ice cream places they will let you try different flavors before buying- but I always have to stick with my favorite flavor: cake batter. It can be a little pricey- but you always get a good amount of ice cream. Be sure to look out for coupons or sign up for their e-mails to get a better deal. read more

My experience at this Cold Stone was one that was definitely NOT good. The employees were rude and did not engage with their customers. I got the hot for cookie which was microwaved way to long as I got through eating the ice cream I was left with a hard cookie center. There was like a 1/2 scoop of ice cream that the employee put in the cup. You go to cold stone to have not only ice cream but an experience while purchasing the ice cream.The line was long and the employees were not happy about it. I arrived at this location at 7:45 when they were supposed to close at 8:00. When I got there, there was an employee inside who seemed to be wiping down who rudely mouthed to me "we're closed" and the door was locked.I had just been here a few nights prior at the same time where a different employee was happy to serve me at this time. This place is great, when they first came to the area, everyone was flocking there. I first heard of them least 3-4 yrs ago, up by my brother, in White Plains , NY. There would be lines, astronomical -sure worth it. So glad its fizzled out, plus can't be eating high fat and tons toppings..all the time. Their gimmick great, make it right in front of you, based on their diff. flavors, love it. Usually get child-size, think its been years since I've went. But all in all..great ice cream. This is probably one of the worst places to ever eat. You're better off eating store bought ice cream. The mix-ins are stale and old also if you ever order a cake it's a safe bet that it will either not be made at all, made entirely wrong or given to another customer. If you must eat here then ask to check the expiration dates of the ingredients also would recommend eating here if you don't mind the unsanitary conditions in the store. read more

Each time I've gone here it's been a disappointing experience. Ever since the Marlton and Haddonfield location closed, we rarely go here anymore , and when we do we order one of the larger to-go sizes. The employees here ALWAYS look annoyed and confused when we order that size like they've never done it before. It's a bunch of miserable teenagers that never care to remember the order you just told them. Tonight we were told they didn't have any chocolate ice cream. How are you out of chocolate?? Plus it's incredibly filthy. The tables, counters, and glass look like they're never cleaned anymore. I love Coldstone Creamery but I just stopped at this location for the first time to be served by the most miserable group of people. I couldn't believe it because the employees are usually very friendly but not here. I also was given barely any ice cream in my cup. My family and I visited this store recently and were extremely disgusted with the service that was provided to us. It was our first time at the store, my daughter was reviewing what she wanted to order off the menu and told the very sweet young girl behind the counter what she wanted. She began making the order, when a man came into the store from outside and walked into the door and behind the counter, started berating the girl telling her she was making the wrong size ice cream and that is not how you do it, and told her that he would show her how and that its okay he will charge us for the size we ordered. Clearly the girl was new and she was trying her best to make the ice cream right. He then had her take over a different customer in line while he finished our order. That's when we realized that this man was a man we saw eating his dinner at a near by establishment where we were eating dinner. He began making our order meanwhile, still berating the other girl. I noticed that he was making our Ice Cream not wearing gloves. We asked him why he didn't have to wear gloves because the girl had them on. He stated "The gloves are optional" and we then stated we noticed how he did not wash his hands before he began preparing our food. He stated "I washed my hands before I came in" and we told him that we saw him at dinner he was sitting at the table next to us. Meaning if he did wash his hands after eating dinner, he would have touched many doors before he was behind the counter in the store. He presented himself has the manager and gave us this story about as long as their hands did not touch the food that everything was okay. I feel this is the most unsanitary thing I have ever witnessed in a food establishment. to tell someone that wearing gloves is optional is very unprofessional as well as berating employees in the open with customers present. I will never again visit this store. And truly believe that this manager needs to have some training. read more

I ran in to pick up a cake I pre ordered. Two people were working behind the counter, instead of helping me when the one girl finished with her customer she walked in the back. This caused me to have to wait because of the large family in front of me which was annoying. The real reason for the review is the place is really dirty. I've been here before and don't ever recall seeing it is such disrepair. Food was all over the back counter with a sheet cake open and exposed. Makes me nervous to eat the cake considering if they allow the front of the establishment to look that way what does the back look like. read more

I had a horrible experience here. My husband and I went out of our way to get ice cream here and were extremely disappointed. First, they were out of two of the most popular flavors; cake batter and vanilla. Then, the servers were disheveled and gross- from their wardrobe (old scummy t-shirts) to their food handling. My server wiped her hands on her jeans! As someone who has preciously worked in food service I was disgusted. Finally; when we got the ice cream, it was not cold enough. It immediately started melting all over the cups and our hands. I then went I to the bathroom to wash my hands and the soap dispenser was broken. The drain in the sink was not drinin v the water. When I showed up the employee said my cake looked horrible so they would get another one. They proceed to put just the name on it with no happy birthday or anything. This was my first time visiting since October 2019 after finding a long hair in the Black Cake Batter ice cream I ordered. I purchased the founders favorite, replacing the sweet cream with Cake Batter ice cream (again) and when I arrived home (after my 25 minute commute), I found a long brown hair after my second bite. I immediately called the store (09993) and explained what had happened and that this is disturbingly not the first time... Colleen was probably the least professional member I could've spoken to in this situation. I was advised by her that she would call her boss "Liz" right away to "see what she should do" and then give me a call back. I allowed 30 minutes to go by before calling the store again. Colleen answered the phone, and said "sorry I forgot to call you". I was aggravated with Colleen, who then told me her boss would give me a call since she is now, and always busy. I asked Colleen when exactly will that be and she replied, "could be today could be tomorrow" but I should hear from Liz eventually. Worst place ever! Keep the change. If Liz doesn't train her employees to be at the very least attentive with customer complaints and issues regarding THEIR sanitizing methods, why bother. read more
