Honestly it's been so long that I can't even remember when I was last here. But today, it was calling my name. The same concept as it's always been, choose your ice cream, make your own or pick one of the specialty flavors they offered. Service was great, it was busy but didn't take long for help. We went with the classic from their list. The Berry Berry Good and Surender to Strawberry. The ice cream mix with the topping to create the deliciousness and then completed with the flavored waffle cone. It did the trick. The ice cream was great and very fresh. Waffle cones were nice to add, not sure how often they're made. They also have cakes in the fridge as well for the grab and go. It's pretty good and perfect for that craving but it seemed to have gotten pretty pricey for them. Two ice cream in a dipped waffle cup with gratuity came up to 27.00. Steep for some ice cream.

Friendly service and tasty ice cream. Lots of flavors and toppings, bowls, cones and cups. You pick a flavor and the attendant mixes your choices. Prices are a tiny bit on the high side: $7.99 for the smallest cup. I splurged in a Coffee Lovers cup with coffee ice cream, chunks of Heath bar, bits of toasted almond and caramel. Such a treat although the coffee flavor could have been a tad stronger. In addition to a drive-through window, there are two small tables with 5 chairs that accommodate customers indoors and another couple of tables sit outside on a small patio.

The cake and company refund policy get 2 stars, but the crew and their problem solving skills get 5 stars. Together they average 3 stars. I came in to buy a cookie dough cake and took it home. When I opened the cake the cake looked old and had freezer burn. (Like when you leave things in the freezer for long time and they get freezer burns and start forming crystals) I came back to the store to make an exchange and they were happy to do it for me but the next 2 cakes they showed me had same problem. I asked for my money back and they said it's company policy they cannot refund my money back to my card? The crew called their manager to try and make an exception but the answer was no. They offered several options to make me whole and we looked through their cake inventory and found one that I liked (I looked for the one that looked the freshest). I was trying to find a date on the box like when it was made or eat before date but did not find any on the case? Anyways, I am bummed because we like to get ice cream cake from cold stone but looks like their inventory doesn't get bought or replaced often. Sadly, I will look for other place to get ice cream cake. This review is only for their cake and their refund policy. Once they said they can't refund my money I gave in and took whatever looked the freshest. The crew was nice though and they tried their best to make me happy and I left with a cake. The picture is for the cake I did end up eating.

Yummy ice cream, great choice! Excellent, purposeful service by Ahmed & all the staff (1 lady that night, forgot her name) Thank you so much. They all deserve a pay raise ;) awesome spot for study work with tables & chairs. God bless!

I am really impressed with how polite the gentleman was behind the counter, extremely helpful and very good at making helpful suggestions, but I had to order the peanut butter cup I had to get the medium size and it was delicious. It didn't even take three minutes one of these days. I'm gonna try their delicious waffle cones, but this location has outdoor seating and you can still see why they're open for business Keep up the good work and great job on picking this man for your staff , no matter what he does he gonna do real well

The two boys that were working are very rude. They were very messy also. The store was not clean as usual . I paid for two love it and one was missing half the ice cream. he piled it up, mixed it once and threw it in the container. Very rude.

Love this place! Always a pleasure everytime we visit! Staff are all super friendly and welcoming, will accommodate you and give you the best customer service experience! Especially today, my bf and i went to the northridge location, the girl, Brooke, was extremely rude to us! When she was making my ice cream, i realized it had bananas on it and i have bad allergies with it. Instantly, i apologized and said i didn't know there was bananas included. She looked so annoyed, threw the ice cream shes making aggressively and gave me a new one but slammed it on the counter and walked away.... Hella rude! We paid and left but i didn't even want to eat my ice cream anymore and threw it away. We then decided to go to this location, and im telling you! It was the complete opposite. All the staff were suuuper friendly to everyone who came in! Welcoming and the person who assisted us is Yara! Such a delightful person! She even gave me the excess for my ice cream and was just super great! We ended up telling her what happened and all staff were apologizing for another stores incompetence.. Anyway, highly recommend! If you like some good ice cream with extra sprinkles of positive vibes to whoever is making it, go here!!!

Review from April 4th, 2018: Fruits were frozen and not fresh. The waffle was stale. Not a great place to have your overpriced ice cream.

One thing to note: they open late--12:30 PM. Parking was easy, and there's a decent amount of seating inside. I happened to be the first customer of the day. Don't expect the warm, smiley Filipino hospitality right away--just head straight to the counter and place your order on the iPad. As for the halo-halo, it's definitely not your traditional version. It wasn't bad by any means, but it's quite different from the halo-halo I grew up with and the ones I enjoy whenever I visit Manila. If you're looking for a modern take on the classic dessert, you may appreciate it more than I did. Prices are pretty standard for Los Angeles, and they accept Apple Pay, which is always a plus.

My best friend was born in England and had a stunning collection of English tea cups, which were lost, along with her home in the Palisades fire. Cake Bash Studios created the most beautiful cake for my friend's birthday. It was so authentic that my friend thought it was an actual "extra large" tea cup with the cake baked inside. She was in awe when the restaurant cut into the tea cup. It was chocolate with strawberries and her husband described it as "luxuriuos". We all enjoyed after dinner, but they enjoyed as a special treat the next day for breakfast!!! Brittany was kind and communicative. I highly recommend Cake Bash Studios if you are looking for something delicious and beautiful. Thank you so much Brittany.

The…read moreplace looked popular with tables filled on the patio and the pastries on display through the window looked intriguing so decided to take a chance and maybe get a small coffee and some pastries to try. There was a young man at the counter who welcomed us with a wonderful smile. He said his name is Said (pronounced Sa-eed) and asked if it was our first time here. We said it was, so he offered to give us some samples of their most popular bake goods. He said it is made of light custard and it's called soft cake and it is traditional pastry from his country in Uzbekistan that his mother bakes all from scratch. In Asia we also don't like overly sweet cakes so we thought it sounded to fit our taste preferences. And we loved it after trying! My mom said it tastes very similar to the cake she had back in Seoul in her childhood she misses fondly, but she could never have that same taste. Just a little sweeter. But the custard and texture of the cake is just the same. We also got the eclair. And it was pretty good too. But definitely recommend the soft cake!! Sooo yummyyy!! I also got the strawberry cold foam matcha latte and my mom got a small americano coffee. She said it's the best coffee she had in a cafe. Of course superb compared to Starbucks or any other coffee franchise. She says American coffee shops always burn their beans so it tastes burnt, but this place roasted the beans just right. And we also loved the strawberry cold foam matcha. I don't know how, but it tasted like really strawberry was in the drink!! My mom said it's the best strawberry milk she ever had here and in Korea! And she wants to order again when we come by next time. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks were all prepared with such care, but given at a reasonable time. Some of these cafes take forever to make your drinks, even Starbucks makes you wait 20 minutes! These other coffee shops make it seem like they're doing some complex chemistry experiment how long it takes for just a drink! But this young guy he makes the drink in under 5 min and it tastes 10x better anything those other coffee shops make, but in less than half the time! I really thought maybe it was really hard making drinks, but this young dude makes it look like a walk in the park, the speed and ease he cranks out the drinks. I think Uzbekistan people must be just built different! and he was also so kind and pleasant taking the time to explain and answer all our questions. Some of these other places wouldn't even bother or make it feel like you're pulling a nail from them the way they grimace. He was so nice we wanted to give a tip, but he even said he didn't want us to. He'd happily accept just our enjoying the food and drinks and would appreciate if we left a review for his cafe. just had to leave a review. Especially after how nice he is. And hearing his story and how it's a family run bakery with the mom baking and son making drinks and running front counter. And an authentic European bakery!! Wow! Aren't we so glad they moved into our neighborhood! A Real quality cafe I didn't even know what I was missing until I stepped into this little shop by mere chance! I Will definitely come by again. And anyone else who discovers this little gem would be so lucky and blessed as us!

While the flavor variety is awesome and they don't skimp on fillings, man are these cakes typically dry and a little dense. Had the tropical coconut pineapple cake for a friend's retirement party in December and while the price of a small cake is steep, it was very good. I was impressed! Another friend and I debated what the best berry and cream cake was. I said WholeFoods. She said SusieCakes. We taste tested. We both stood our ground on our opinions. Last weekend,I had the strawberry cake at a birthday party and it was very dry and dense. And the baby's "smash cake" never really got any deeper than the frosting layer, which leads me to believe it was also dense. While I was doing my friend the favor of picking up said birthday cakes, I noticed the pineapple coconut was back in season, so I came to SusieCakes the next day to get a slice. Very friendly staff!
