The park, opened more than one hundred years ago, is located on the east side of Coldwater Canyon at Beverly Drive. It provides a beautifully landscaped green space, a synthetic jogging track, seating areas with shade trellises, a fountain, and the Woods Davy Stillwater art sculpture, Gwynn Murrill's Cougar III bronze sculpture and a children's playground. Parking spot was hard to find near this area.

Gated park, sometimes there is security guard as well. Very busy, mostly nanny's, and a few different shaded areas to sit. Nothing more to ask for here!

Glad to use this beautiful neighborhood park whenever we visit. It's nearby to where we live, well-maintained and has lots of fun open spaces for children and outdoor sports. There are cool animal sculptures and a clean community center. Across the street, next to the fire station, there's a short soft track (7 times around equals 1 mile) that is perfect for walkers or joggers, young and old. It's very easy on your knees and ankles. There's sustainable, xeriscaping around and within the track that makes your route a bit more interesting. Today, butterflies, bees and hummingbirds were buzzing around. This park is "easy" on your eyes, quiet and has many useable areas for picnics or activities or just hanging out.

If you're looking for clean play equipment and clean bathrooms this is your spot. Also the tandem swings (is that the word?) are delightful. But there is something that makes me not want to give it five stars. Maybe the snotty rich moms or that the equipment didn't blow me away. I feel like 4 1/2 stars should be an option. Like I wouldn't go again but it was nice you know?

Greystone Mansion & Gardens is truly an amazing place…read more On the morning of Saturday, June 6th, my family had brunch together at Takagi and enjoyed their delicious soufflé pancakes. Afterward, we all headed over to Greystone Mansion & Gardens. I had visited this place once with friends about four years ago, and I remembered how beautiful it was. Since I thought my parents would enjoy taking a walk here, I suggested that the whole family come together. The scenery is stunning, with beautiful gardens, plenty of trees, and peaceful walking paths. It's also a fantastic place for taking photos. Years ago, I took some pictures with friends along a pathway lined with tall trees on both sides. The setting was absolutely gorgeous, and the photos turned out amazing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find that exact spot this time, which was a little disappointing. After enjoying a nice walk, my mom said she was getting hungry, so we started thinking about where to have lunch. Then suddenly, my dad disappeared. At first, we thought he might have gone to the restroom, but he wasn't there. We searched all over the property, checking everywhere we could think of, but we couldn't find him. It was honestly very stressful. Thankfully, my brothers informed one of the park rangers, and the park rangers immediately began helping us search for him. As it turned out, my dad had walked to the parking lot by himself. Earlier, we had told him that we would bring the car closer to him so he wouldn't have to walk too far, but he apparently didn't hear that part and started walking toward the parking lot on his own. When he couldn't find us, he simply sat down on the grass and waited. When the park rangers located him, one of them asked me if I wanted to come along. I immediately replied, "Yes, yes, of course!" and hurried over with them. When I finally saw my dad, I was incredibly relieved and happy. I must have thanked the park rangers more than ten times that day for their kindness and help. Even now, it makes me nervous when I think about how worried our entire family was that day. This property is quite large, so it's easy for people to get separated. For most people, it wouldn't be a big problem because they could simply call each other on the phone. However, my dad suffered a stroke in mid-December and had to be taken to the ER by 911. Thankfully, he has improved significantly since January, but he still cannot reliably make or answer phone calls on his own. Because of that, we were especially worried and anxious while searching for him. Thankfully, everything turned out well in the end, and we were able to find him safely. I am truly grateful to the park rangers who helped us that day. Not only is this place absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous scenery and wonderful views, but it's hard to believe that parking is completely free. To be honest, this is one of those special places that makes you want to keep it a secret and enjoy it all by myself. But great places deserve to be shared, so I decided to write this review and let others know about it.
