Beverly Canon Gardens is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm walking around Beverly Hills. I always stop by here -- the area is beautiful, very well maintained, and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. There is a café where you can sit down, enjoy a coffee, and take a break. On weekends it can be quite busy, but it still feels pleasant and welcoming. During the summer, free concerts are held here on Thursdays, which makes the place even more special. The hotel architecture nearby is stunning, and this garden is also a great spot for photoshoots. Overall, it's a perfect place to relax, enjoy the surroundings, and spend some quiet time in the heart of Beverly Hills. read more

This is a must visit when in Beverly Hills and a temporary escape from the crazy shopping scene of Rodeo Drive. The plants and flowers are all so beautiful and well maintained. No matter what time of day, there's always a place to sit and enjoy the nature. There's restaurants and eateries surrounding with chairs and tables all over. There's even a running fountain in the middle which adds another layer of tranquility. This area is known to host evening events, so it can get a bit chaotic but also transforms into a completely different vibe when it does! There are plenty of magical photo moments here which is a draw for Instagram models and tourists alike. Parking is also super easy in the 2 hour free lot attached. read more

You cannot come to Beverly Hills without a stop and rest at Beverly Canon Gardens. This is the best public place in Beverly Hills. And if you are a celebrity or concerned about security--the entire park is under 24/7 video surveillance. Lots of restaurants and cafes for a meal or drink when you sit out in the park or the tables and chairs. Parking is free for 2 hours in the city garage under the park before 6 pm. It's holiday season at Beverly Canon Gardens! I absolutely enjoy coming here in the summer for their summer concerts and during the holidays as they always go all out with decor and cute photo ops. The space is conveniently located next to city parking garage that offers free 2 hour parking. Several restaurants are located within and nearby. The place is always well maintained and kept clean. Often times, I see kids and dogs playing. There are a few tables along the outskirts and you will most likely see a group of men playing backgammon in the evening. If you happen to be shopping or dining in BH, I would def recommend you take a stroll at this courtyard. read more

We parked in the parking garage next door because they offer free parking for 2 hours, and we had a reservation at Laudurée across the street. When we were done, we still time on our parking, so decided to walk around this cute area. I have mixed feelings about it. On the plus side, there's a cute pink sign that you can take pictures in front of and post on the internet to give your friends FOMO. On the downside, all the grass is fenced off. So, you can sit on chairs or on cement, but don't you dare try to sit on this grass. This grass is for our eyes only. WTF! Why have grass then? Why not plant a prettier ground covering, like thyme? read more

What a cute place! Here I thought all the space in the Golden Triangle was taken up. Maybe this never was, and I had not been down Canon Drive. But it's a little manicured open space that suddenly appears among the ultra-expensive shops and restaurants. A place where you can rest your feet, eat that lunch that you got take-out, or look over what's in your shopping bags and naturally your husband won't mind how much you spent. The buildings on each side are several stories tall, so not much sunlight gets here most of the time. During the hot summer months, this is a good thing. The fountain in the middle helps too. Bonus: Beverly Hills offers free concerts and movies in the summer. The concert I went to, the band was good but the crowd wasn't that lively. But I guess that's to be expected in 90210. Beverly Canon Gardens is not something to go all the way to Beverly Hills for. But when you're here already, it's a fantastic place to rest and enjoy yourself. read more

Such a cute little spot right in the heart of Beverly hill. Just next door to the Montage hotel and the surrounding areas of amazing restaurants and shops. This quaint little gem is always hustling and bustling daily. But with everything covid, it's pretty quiet. The restaurants that faces it aren't opened back up so there's no people sitting in the patio enjoying their meal. Your still able to come and enjoy the outdoor. The garden is amazing and well kept. Beauty fountain right in the middle of the part. There also a grassy area that your able to enjoy. Tables are scattered but as of now there's no chairs to go with them. They do have some that's Rae near the built in wall benches that you could utilize. It's always nice to come down and enjoy a meal or just a nice break throughout the day. Perfect for a little gathering with friends after a day of shopping or people watching. There's plenty of shops and realty that are nearby. But limited to what's open right now. Rodeo drive is just around the corner, a couple minute walk. It's these little hidden gem throughout the city that's makes it special. Beautiful place just to get away and lounge. read more

On Canon just north of Wilshire, at over 30,000 square feet, there are lots of reasons to stop by when you are in the area. There are many areas to relax, hang out with friends, have a cup of coffee, eat lunch outside, or just enjoy the grass, gardens, and fountain. I love this place! It is small but nice. A grassy garden area near Canon & a courtyard area with tables & chairs on the Beverly side. A pleasant fountain (not too big) in the center. A wonderful place to take a break. Lots of places to eat nearby. This is a pocket park located between the Montage and the residences at the Montage/ Boucheron etc. They often have mini events going on, such as today. Saturday, December 3rd is OVO Family Days at Beverly Canon Gardens. In celebration of OVO from Cirque du Soleil, under the big top at the Santa Monica Pier beginning January 20, 2012, this family-friendly event will feature face painting, chalk and balloon artists, interactive exhibits and more! Tomorrow - 10am - 1pm. This was a very tight/small event but lots of free goodies and fun for the kids. Sprinkles let kids decorate their own cupcakes, "Cuties" were giving out free testers of their new tangerine/ fruit juicies (btw YUM!), Bucheron was sampling their caramel corn, Radio Disney was there with a DJ, an exhibit of wildlife creatures for display and lots of other fun things like face painting, balloon shaping and coloring pages. When there are not events as such going on it's a lovely place to take a break around one of the large fountains and just enjoy the sunshine. There are plenty of chairs and tables that are out day and night to enjoy a nice bit of fresh air. It reminds me like a TINY version of the seating around Bryant Park in Manhattan. Sometimes a hard day of shopping on Rodeo Dr. leads to exhaustion, so it's nice to take a break and enjoy a good cup of coffee or treat before pounding the pavement with your shopping bags, errr i mean weights. read more

This is a lovely little courtyard in the middle of the Montage Hotel. It is accessible from the street. It's very beautiful here, feels kind of other worldly. There are lots of tables and chairs to sit at and have lunch or coffee alone or with a friend. However, it can get crowded during lunchtime. There's a beautiful fountain here. They also put up gorgeous holiday decor. In the summer, there is movie night here and concerts that are free. There is a crepe place here that is less fancy where you can go get a bite to eat and then sit in the courtyard. The location here is in the heart of Beverly Hills so it's next to a lot of great places to shop. Highly recommend. read more

2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 197/365 I discovered this beautiful hidden gem in Beverly Hills when I went to Bouchon for the first time two years ago. The gardens are between the gorgeous Montage Hotel and Bouchon Bistro & Bakery. I felt like it was SO RANDOM finding this cute little getaway in between the buildings! A secret garden, if you will ;) The patios to the restaurants adjacent to the gardens, such as Bouchon and Scarpetta have a great view of the Beverly Canon Gardens. Or if you don't wanna splurge at one of these expensive Beverly Hills restaurants, grab a coffee and some pastries from the Bouchon Bakery, and take a seat at one of the many small tables they have in the garden. There's a really nice fountain in the middle as well which is the centerpiece of the area. The landscaping is excellent and it would be the perfect place to have a mini-photoshoot. It's not a HUGE area, but definitely nice for some picturesque photos with the beautiful scenery of both the landscape and architecture in the background! I highly recommend checking out the Beverly Canon Gardens if you're in the area. It's just a really nice and cute place to sit for a minute and take in the scenery! read more

This is a lovely oasis in the middle of Beverly Hills. Absolutely beautiful in the evening (afternoons can be scorching hot since there is no shade). There are wonderful restaurants on both sides of the garden, and you are guaranteed a peaceful dining experience with a beautiful view. This garden is tuck away in Beverly hills off canon road. A lot of people don't notice it because it may be hard to find. There is a parking garage for it and free parking for 1st two hours I think that there is a charge after that. Come here on holiday and there is some cool decorations. There are a couple of expensive fancy restaurants nearby this garden and a coffee shop too. I feel it is getting busier every year as more people know about it. It is relaxing place with plenty of tables and a water fountain in the middle. Good for taking a break and having a sip of coffee. read more

I was showing a friend around, and after walking around for a bit and giving him a tour of my high school (yes, that's what I do to entertain people...), we ended up strolling here accidentally. The fountains with the beautiful lights are just breathtaking to witness at night, we could barely believe that we found this gorgeous free place in the middle of Beverly Hills. This is a beautiful little spot, however, calling it 'Gardens' causes confusion. We were visiting the area and wanted to be dropped off to see these 'Gardens'. When we stepped out, we were confused, and walked around trying to find a place that resembled a park or a larger open green space. I agree with a previous reviewer that said this is a hotel courtyard. Albeit, a beautiful one, but still not appropriately named. There is a coffeeshop / cafe serving drinks and light lunch fare, and has ample outdoor seating. There is a small grassy strip for children to play in. There is also some open seating at one end of the courtyard. I heard that this is also a good spot to do some celebrity-watching. read more

I was trying to fill some time before visiting a friend and was floored/ebullient/WOWed to see this large but intimate pocket park nestled next to the Mirage and allowing a walk-through from Canon to Beverly. I had heard a lot of wonderful things about the Montage since moving to Los Angeles, yet never had an opportunity/reason to stay there. He booked a weekend that included dinner at their restaurant, Scarpetta, and a full day at their spa. Upon arrival the front desk was so friendly and helpful. When we got into the room, they had set up complimentary wine, cheese and chocolates for our anniversary. The spa was AMAZING. I can truly say that it is one of the best Spa experiences I have ever had. I got a one hour deep tissue massage and a facial. Both were relaxing and comfortable. The products they used smelled so incredible and my skin felt so soft afterwards. The entire ambiance of the spa made me feel like a princess, and not to mention that the staff was probably one of the friendliest. Lots of friendly people in this hotel. Dinner at Scarpetta was very good, not incredible, but hey, it's Beverly Hills, the competition is tight. I had a truffle risotto that was delicious. My husband had a Sea Bass special. We were sat promptly and the wait staff brought out an anniversary desert and complimentary champagne. I was appreciative of the courtesy the staff took to ensure that we were well-taken care of on our special day. The rooms...Oh my. The sheets, the pillows. I could live in those beds. Honestly, I could not have picked a better hotel to celebrate with my hubby. Five stars for the Montage and their friendly and considerate staff. read more
