The Law Offices of Nick Nemeth at 4101 McEwen Rd #750, Dallas, TX 75244…read more This review can be way longer than I'm about to make it. I'm just going to start out with some of the names of the people that were involved in making my case go from a horrible IRS situation to feeling like I got a good deal "BY HIRING THE RIGHT LAW TEAM". Special thanks to these team members below in no special order: Katrina,Victoria, Jamie, Clay, Shreeya, Ghayath, Yolanda and Mr. Nick started it all with me on the first phone consultation. I contacted Mr. Nemeth law office in Dallas, with a very interesting situation I had with the IRS. Without getting into any real details about my personal business. I'm pretty sure anyone else would have been panicking in this type of situation knowing the amount of money that could be owed. My friends and family that I barely told any details about the situation their minds could not handle the issue and understanding the significance. Just plainly put people are scared of the IRS. His team stayed in communications with me throughout the entire ordeal. They advised me on each details of how things were progressing and what did I need to stay focused on. The money I paid from when he first started and told me up front. What the cost I was looking at, I feel like I got my money's worth and that within itself makes me feel good about this whole situation. Definitely if any of my friends or family in the future has any issues dealing with the IRS. This team of lawyers is definitely their go-to to save their peace of mind. I would like to thank everyone who was involved in my case and I hope I never have to call you guys again lmao Thank You

He helped me both with my business taxes and personal taxes, and WOW was I impressed with his knowledge. His expertise was such a relief to be able to lean on this year. Ron also has a unique since of humor, which may not be for everyone, but it made paying taxes oddly relaxing for me (and dare I say, even enjoyable). Would strongly recommend Ron for both business and personal tax needs!

Proceed with Caution: My Experience with Ron Mussett…read more I initially worked with Ron to set up my LLC taxed as an S-corp. He was helpful during the initial process, but unfortunately, the execution was flawed. He made repeated administrative errors, such as filing paperwork incorrectly, missing deadlines, and even misspelling my name and my company's name multiple times. While I initially overlooked these mistakes, things only worsened over time. One of my biggest concerns was Ron's reluctance to answer questions beyond quarterly payroll tax filings. I often felt like an annoyance rather than a valued client. More critically, he failed to inform me that I wasn't making estimated personal income tax payments, which led to a substantial tax bill for 2024--complete with penalties. Based on my experience with him, I expect he would say this wasn't his responsibility, but better communication could have prevented the issue. Additionally, his tax planning knowledge was not the right fit. For instance, he was unfamiliar with Solo 401(k) plans and only recommended SEP IRAs, which didn't align with my financial strategy. He also would push back against strategies like structuring payroll for my spouse, paying her the max required for a 401(k) contribution, and "netting out." Beyond these shortcomings, his overall responsiveness was mediocre to poor--not just during tax season but consistently throughout the year. He was only reachable via email and rarely by phone, making it difficult to get timely responses. To be fair, Ron is very affordable compared to other CPAs. At the time, I was paying a fraction of what I pay now. However, I've come to realize that paying three times as much for my new CPA is well worth it--because at least now, I don't have IRS penalties, unexpected tax bills, or unanswered questions. My new CPA is available via phone and Zoom, open to one-on-one consultations, and takes the time to ensure I understand my tax strategy. If you're looking for a CPA who provides proactive guidance, strategic tax planning, and clear explanations, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Just as we expect doctors to have bedside manner, I believe a CPA should show a level of respect and care for their clients. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I often felt disregarded, and the lack of communication left me with IRS penalty letters, an unexpected tax bill, and a new CPA who is now cleaning up the mess. Ultimately, I take responsibility for not holding Ron accountable sooner. However, if you choose to work with him, be prepared to take a very hands-on approach and ensure you fully understand what he is offering. I've since found a CPA who is a much better fit--someone who takes the time to explain tax-saving strategies, aligns with my long-term financial goals, and ensures I won't be blindsided by another massive tax bill in 2025.

It quickly began to add up and the IRS placed a lien on our home. After much research, we engaged Bill Bronson to help us negotiate with the IRS. Mr. Bronson was a patient, confident and supportive consultant as we made our way through the process, which lasted just short of one year. Mr. Bronson negotiated a reasonable monthly payment contract for us, and we just made our first payment. The lien won't be removed for a few years, but simply knowing we addressed the problem successfully is more than reassuring. PAY YOUR TAXES ON TIME to avoid making the same mistakes we did. However, if you end up in a similar place in which we did, The Bronson Law Firm is an exceedingly reputable resource, and we highly recommend their expertise.

I would not personally recommend nor trust Cadilac Law with any case after my experience. I hired…read morethem to handle my 2021 property tax protest. In their defense, I hired them on the last possible day, but they assured me that the timing was no problem and that they would turn in all necessary paperwork on-time. They dropped off my paperwork as certified mail that same (deadline) day, but my County's appraisal district did not accept that as postmarked. This shows Cadilac's lack of experience as they assured me that they would get my paperwork submitted on-time but ultimately failed to do so after accepting the job and my paperwork. An experienced firm would have known that a last minute submission would have been futile and would not have assured me otherwise. Instead, Cadilac asked me to provide photos so they could build a presentation, but this presentation was NEVER reviewed by the County due to Cadilac's poor timing and failure to deliver on their promises. In terms of communication and legal support, I asked the staff for additional guidance for my house (relatively new). I never asked for confidential information from their real-life cases, just generic examples specific to houses less than 5 years old. One staff member said they would provide such examples but never did. Another staff member just referred me to their YouTube workshop which did not provide examples for a new build home (i.e., my specific request). At no point did the staff inform me that our paperwork was rejected due to late submission. I had to find out from my County on my own. When I called Cadilac about this issue, they did not apologize and instead shifted partial blame to me for hiring them on the day of the deadline and the rest of the blame to the County for recognizing a different day as the postmarked date. It didn't matter that they accepted the pay and affirmed that they would get a hearing scheduled. Cadilac tried to get my hearing scheduled by filing a motion for "good cause" but the County rejected this. In the end, all the work I put into the photos and descriptions was for nothing, and Cadilac knew that they were stringing their client along for the ride. Their staff had even informed me that the County takes any opportunity to reject cases...so why did Cadilac not inform me and think they could get my hearing scheduled? Cadilac's initial recommendation was to sue the County but I would have to pay even more (~6x of the charges paid thus far). Absolutely ridiculous. We landed at a partial refund for my initial payment, though I believe I should have been refunded 100% since NOTHING I paid for was delivered as promised. They had even told me my photos were great and that I should get a decent property tax reduction. Cadilac should have told me the truth about the case and the late reception from the County instead of stringing me along the way as I had called periodically to check-in on things. Communication with the staff was absolutely terrible and disorganized, over both email and phone. I thought I was hiring an experienced professional but turns out I was hiring an amateur shop. Stay away and save your money for a more professional and transparent legal team that communicates effectively with you and gets the job done.

Ms. Cadilac had no intention of rendering legal guidance to me because she became aggressive and belligerent and admitted she knew facts only shared with the attorney I went to her to investigate about the handling of my case. I experienced sheer evil from her words and while being asked to leave said to her, "God Bless you, Ms. Cadilac. Since you despise me so much I wish you wouldn't charge the prepay to my card for the $50.00 for a consultation fee." She said, "Okay." We'll see. I would never refer anyone for her services. I feel like I've been backstabbed by this attorney.
