Today there was fried chicken, pork steak cutlets, and fresh fish along with another dozen or so favorites like mac-n-cheese, sweet potato casserole, and green beens. The restaurant is in a big beautiful home, we came in through the back door which was near where we parked and there is a huge hallway from the front to back of the building and that's where the huge buffet is located. Our first trip we stayed at their Lodge in Wrightsville in July of 2021 and was guided by Dustin and Will. Both were consummate professionals offering hospitality at the level that made us feel instantly at home. 2/3 of us killed hogs on this trip and the guides had us on hogs from the get-go. Their skill at skinning and being flexible about which cuts we wanted and how to cut up the pigs was top-notch. The second trip was to their Plantation House location and rose to the bar set by our first experience with this outfitter. Blaine, Jerry, and Curt were excellent hosts and guides providing an authentic hunting camp experience. From transparency and flexibility about hunting locations, sharing trail cam footage and general knowledge, giving us a tour of Blaine's extensive Native American artifacts, to sitting around shooting the bull made us feel as though we were amongst friends the entire time. The atmosphere is exactly what we were hoping for and what I've read people are searching for in reviews of other outfitters. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the office staff as well, specifically Melanie. She was a dream to work with explaining all the different pricing structures and offering packages that were wallet friendly. She stayed in touch just enough before our hunt to keep us feeling confident about our upcoming trip. She was also understanding and helpful when we had unforeseen changes in our party size. If you're looking for an authentic hog hunting experience with the comforts of home in a deer camp setting with friendly and knowledgeable people invested in your successful hunt then you don't need to look any farther than Woods and Water.

The guides were knowledgeable and took the time to really teach me about hunting. Blaine is a great host - my friend and I stayed a little later after everyone else checked out and Blaine let us borrow some fishing poles so we could fish in the catfish pond (I caught 2). Amazing experience and I'm going back for a turkey hunt soon!

After pulling into a dump of a hotel I said screw it and checked Yelp and this Edenfield B&B pops up & im like wth there's one of these our here in the middle of nowhere wow. I called even though it was after hours to see if they had a room and this sweet voice answers and totally made my day. Jasmine is a complete angel that totally made my stay incredible. Once I arrived she took the time to help get my motorhome parked as well as once inside show me my awesome room and get all my info for the stay. I've stayed @ probably 80 B&B's over the last 5 years and this was for sure in my top 10. My king room upstairs was awesome and super comfy. Shower was super hot ( the controls are backwards but I figured it out ) Breakfast was really good as well. I'll for sure be back AAA+++ Watch out for that Aaron character he's well let's just say he has a very proud proprietor of this majestic property. Super chill but be prepared to have some hearing loss because he had a voice that carry's throughout the massive house Aaron & Jasmine both are awesome I'm just giving him crap because he knows he's hooked up to a megaphone See ya soon

The service from Ann was really terrific - she's a great host, and a fantastic cook as well! The place is incredibly clean and well maintained, and the quiet and peaceful area is perfect for sitting outside and relaxing by the lake. They even provide kayaks if you want to get out on the lake and go fishing or just relax. And of course fishing off the dock is a fine option too! Whether it's the service, the setting, or the spectacular hospitality and food, I can't recommend this place enough.
