The park gets its name from Mistletoe Corners, a local area where people gather to pick mistletoe during the winter holiday season. Its strategic location on the lake makes it one of the great bass fishing spots in the nation. The park also offers public beaches and eight miles of nature trails. Mistletoe State Park offers 84 Tent/Trailer/RV Sites, 10 Cottages, 1 Fisherman's Cabin, 1 Tent Cabin, 1 Beachhouse, a Sand Beach, 3 Boat Ramps, 4 Walk-In Campsites, 1 Pioneer Campground, 5 Picnic Shelters, 1 Group Shelter, and 3 Backcountry Campsites. So, if your looking for a good place to go fishing, camping or swimming this is definitely a great place to do it. We enjoyed ourselves when we were there but we love the outdoors!

First time for us visiting this campground. We have a 35' 5th wheel and had no issue getting in and…read moreset up. After walking around and scouting out other spots, could not really rule out any spot that I couldn't get in. The only thing bad about camping is the other people. No consideration for others wanting to take advantage of a relaxing weekend. Packing up and pulling out between 4:30-6:00am is beyond me. Anyways. Good place. Bath houses are okay, just bring your shower shoes. Bring your own fire wood too
