Fried flounder and chicken were fried to perfection. No hot sauce or tartar sauce needed.

Today was my first time eating at this establishment. I've always wanted to try it. Good friend of mine invited and treated me for lunch and the food was delicious!!

Trying the Grape Salad a favorite of mine.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go for down home (homemade)cooking at its best! I have spent my last 4 birthdays here for brunch! You must go here for Sunday Brunch you will be blown away by the experience. Work up your appetite with the drive. It takes a minute to get there but when you do you won't be disappointed. A beautiful bed and breakfast. Connie and her crew are busy (non stop)filling up the buffet with fried chicken and let me tell you it is the best around. Everything on the buffet is made with such love and care you would think your Mom or Grandma was in the kitchen cooking. they have so many different dishes to choose from. The salad bar is amazingly fresh and filled to abundance. You have to try the Grape Salad it is delicious. Don't get me started on the Sunday desserts. I'm just going to post some pictures here, they will show you what I am talking about. You will be happy you made the trip. Heck make a weekend of it a book a room and take in the local area. Check out their Facebook page for Daily updates. They are closed Saturdays for buffet.

    Great buffet!

Best place to eat in Swainsboro. HUGE lunch buffet with a salad bar that would rival a good steakhouse. Must eat here if in the area.

If you want a real feeling of southern hospitality. I don't know why I'd be back in the area again but if I was I'd surely stay here again.

I am sure glad he did. The is a full service restaurant with a nice lunch buffet. Fried chicken, sausage and onions, au grauten potatoes, rice and gravy, homemade pork rinds and collared greens. I had the buffet and I thought it was delicious and a great value. My lunch with a sweet tea was $8.50 out the door. I thought the fried chicken was moist and crunchy. They had a sauce with tomatoes, onions and beef that was perfect to put on top of the rice. The potatoes they had going was a cheesy potatoes with pork chop chunks in it. This was the best side dish they had. One of my buddies ordered the chicken salad and I thought this looked fresh and delicious as well. He liked it and said I should try it next time. I will come again and update my review.

The second time I went, I got fried chicken from the buffet. Two breast pieces and one thigh. Both breast pieces were very dry and hard, as if they had been under heat lamps all day, but I had arrived shortly after noon. The thigh piece was good. Cooked just right, juicy, and flavorful. Therefore, I gave an extra star. If you order water to drink, be sure to ask for lemon, because the water tastes pretty bad. The two people that ate with me were as unimpressed as I was.

No dark meat on the buffet. No ice cream for my sweets-loving husband lol. $15 with no senior discount. Definitely not the Ole Times Country Buffet we are used to, at the same price. This was why the Golden Corral parking lot was packed and this one not so much.

I went to the Ole Times website to see the menu for Fri. and it had fried fish and country steak on the menu. I told my wife that sounded good so we went. We got there at 11:15 thinking the food would be fresh and good. They get your money coming in the door so you've already paid by the time you realize there's no fish or country fried steak, only some frozen meatballs in gravy and a lot of chicken wings, fried chicken, and baked spaghetti that was nothing but pasta someone waved some sauce over and topped with a bit of cheese. I asked our waitress what happened to the fish and country fried steak and she just said, "They don't do that anymore". We've eaten there several times in the past so we thought at least what they have will be good. WRONG! the chicken tasted like it was fried in old grease and none of the vegetables were seasoned properly. This place used to be good. Yesterday it was $30.00 plus tip for lunch and I left feeling like I'd been robbed. This is how you loose a restaurant. It was obvious they were putting out the cheapest food possible to save money. That is very counterproductive. People will stop coming if they don't like the food and you wind up loosing even more. That was my last trip to the 'Ole Times Buffet in Dublin Ga.
